This week, the Emmys announced their 2020 nominations, with the expected announcement that the ceremony will be virtual. It'll be the first major awards ceremony to be held remotely (the Tonys, which usually air in June, were cancelled) so it'll be interesting to see how the academy handles a virtual awards ceremony. Here's a list of the sitcom-relevant nominees, as a refresher:

All in all, the first thing that popped out to me was the sheer number of nominations for Schitt's Creek in its final season. Schitt's Creek is a show that grew more popular very gradually through-out its runs, and the show scored 15 nominations in its final season, its highest easily. It's pretty rare for a comedy series to actually increase in nominations (typically they start off very buzzy and gradually fade in Emmy voters' interests, such as what happened with shows like 30 Rock and Modern Family) but Schitt's Creek bucks the trend. It also bucks the Emmy voters' trend of favoring streaming services, as Schitt's Creek (a cable sitcom) out nominated streaming favorites like Dead to Me and GLOW. Still, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2018's winner) also racked a lot of nominations, so the Emmy's love of streaming sitcoms hasn't completed faded.

Broadcast television continues to be gradually squeezed out by the Emmys, with The Good Place as the only nominee from a broadcast network in the Outstanding Comedy Series category. (Brooklyn Nine-Nine and black-ish scored nominations in acting categories but not in the series categories.) Previous Emmy darling Modern Family was not nominated for its final season (not surprising as the Emmy's love for the series faded in the show's later seasons), but FX's critically acclaimed fantasy comedy What We Do in the Shadows did score a handful of nominations. It's an interesting year for the Emmys - not just because they'll be remote, but because they nominated a lot of surprise choices this year, and I'll be very interested to see how they play out (virtually).

Game Show Network, the leader in game shows and competitive entertainment, has announced Emmy® Award winner Leah Remini as host of new pop culture crossword game show, People Puzzler. The half-hour original series is anticipated to premiere in early 2021. In People Puzzler, three lucky contestants will put their pop culture knowledge to the test to complete iconic, People Puzzler crosswords. The player who has won the most points after three rounds will move on to the Fast Puzzle Bonus Round where they will have the opportunity to win a cash prize Actress, author, producer, and television personality Leah Remini is perhaps most recognized as Carrie Heffernan on the long-running CBS comedy, The King of Queens. She was recently seen in the romantic comedy, Second Act, with Jennifer Lopez.

Actor and comedian Jerry Stiller, who was best known for his roles as Frank Costanza in Seinfeld and as Arthur Spooner in The King of Queens, has died. He died from natural causes at his home on the Upper West Side of Manhattan on May 11. Mr. Stiller was 92.

Stiller married Anne Meara in 1954. The comedy duo Stiller and Meara was successful in the 1960s and 1970s. They made numerous appearances on variety and talk shows such as The Ed Sullivan Show, The Merv Griffin Show and The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. They played Barney and Grace Dickerson, Howie Dickerson's (John Calvin) parents, in four episodes of The Paul Lynde Show in 1972-1973. Some of their other sitcom guest appearances together included The Courtship of Eddie's Father, Love, American Style, Rhoda, Archie Bunker's Place and The Love Boat. They hosted HBO Sneak Previews from 1979 to 1982. They had a sitcom pilot called The Stiller & Meara Show in 1986. In 2010, they had a Yahoo! web series called Stiller & Meara.

He starred as Gus Duzik in the short-lived 1975-1976 CBS sitcom Joe and Sons. He was the best friend of Joe Vitale (Richard Casellano) and worked with him at the Hobooken Sheet and Tube Company. The series also starred Florence Stanley, Bobbi Jordan, Barry Miller and Jimmy Baio.

Stiller played Sid Wilbur, the loyal maitre d' at a posh Manhattan restaurant, in the 1988-1989 comedy-drama Tattingers. The cast included Stephen Collins, Blythe Danner, Patrice Colihan, Chay Lentin, Jessica Prunell, Mary Beth Hurt, Roderick Cook, Zach Grenier, Rob Morrow, Sue Francis Pai, Yusef Bulos, Robert Clohessy, Simon Jones, Chris Elliott and Anna Levine.

He appeared as the cantankerous Frank Costanza, the father of George Costanza (Jason Alexander) and husband of Estelle Costanza (Estelle Harris), in 26 episodes of the NBC sitcom Seinfeld from 1993 to 1998. Frank Costanza was a former cook in the Army and learned to speak Korean in while serving in the Korean War. He invented the holiday Festivus as a reaction to the cultural commercialism of Christmas. Stiller received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series in 1997 and won an American Comedy Award for Funniest Male Guest Appearance in a TV Series in 1998 for the role. The series also starred Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Michael Richards.

He starred as the eccentric Arthur Spooner in the 1998-2007 CBS sitcom The King of Queens. Arthur Spooner was the widowed father of Carrie Heffernan (Leah Remini) and father-in-law of Doug Heffernan (Kevin James). He lived in the basement of their Rego Park, Queens, New York house. His fourth marriage was to Spence's (Patton Oswalt) mother Veronica Olcin (Anne Meara) in the final season. The series also starred Victor Williams, Larry Romano (1998-2001), Lisa Rieffel (1998), Gary Valentine (1999-2007) and Nicole Sullivan (2001-2005).

Some of his sitcom guest appearances included Phyllis, Private Benjamin, Alice, Amanda's, The Larry Sanders Show and Sex and the City.

He provided the voice of Uncle Max for The Lion King 1½ and Harvey for Planes: Fire and Rescue. Some of his other voice credits included Linus! The Lion Hearted, Teacher's Pet, Fish Hooks and Foodfight!.

Stiller appeared with his actor son Ben Stiller in films such as Zoolander, Heavyweights, Hot Pursuit, The Heartbreak Kid and Zoolander 2. Some of his other film credits included The Taking of Pelham One Two Three, The Ritz, Nadine, Hairspray (1988), A Fish in the Bathtub and My 5 Wives.

He was interviewed for The Interviews: An Oral History of Television on December 12, 2005.

Survivors include his son Ben, daughter Amy (an actress) and two grandchildren. Anne Meara, his wife of over 60 years, died in 2015.

Mr. Stiller was a true comedic legend. He was perfectly cast as Frank Costanza and Arthur Spooner. He made everything he appeared in funnier. We thank him for the many laughs and entertainment he brought us during his long career. He will be greatly missed.

DECADES TV Network will honor the life and career of late comedian and actor Jerry Stiller with two back-to-back episodes of The Dick Cavett Show featuring the icon and his wife Anne Meara. Airing Wednesday, May 13 at 9p ET, viewers can relive a 1995 interview where Stiller discusses Seinfeld and his days on The Ed Sullivan Show. Following at 9:30p ET, the DECADES network will present a 1995 interview with Anne Meara.

HBO Max announced it has ordered the adult animated series Santa Inc. from global content leader Lionsgate featuring voice performances by leads Sarah Silverman and Seth Rogen. The 8 episode, half-hour series will be written by showrunner Alexandra Rushfield (Shrill) and will be produced by Rogen's Point Grey Pictures as part of their multiplatform partnership with Lionsgate. Santa Inc. is the story of Candy Smalls (Silverman), the highest-ranking female elf in the North Pole. When the successor to Santa Claus (Rogen) is poached by Amazon on Christmas Eve, Candy goes for her ultimate dream— to become the first woman Santa Claus in the history of Christmas.

Usher in the New Year with laughter as The King of Queens joins Nick at Nite beginning Tuesday, Jan. 1, at 4 a.m. (ET/PT). The series follows a blue-collared couple who fight the odds to keep it together with plenty of laughs. Following the series launch, the nine-season, 207-episode library of The King of Queens will continue to air regularly on Nick at Nite.

The King of Queens is set in Rego Park, Queens, New York, and follows Doug, a deliveryman, and his wife Carrie, a secretary at a law firm, who both live with Carrie's oddball father, Arthur. They try to make the best of what they got while striving to keep their marriage somewhat normal and getting through tiny problems that they have together, even the occasional run-in with Carrie's father. The King of Queens stars Kevin James (Hitch), Leah Remini (Old School) and Jerry Stiller (Zoolander) as Arthur.

Nick at Nite will also air The Office starting Jan. 1 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Nick at Nite is Nickelodeon's nighttime programming block featuring popular hit family comedies, including the Emmy Award-winning series Friends, as well as George Lopez and Mom.

The Office stars Steve Carell as Michael Scott, Ed Helms as Andy Bernard, John Krasinski as Jim Halpert, Rainn Wilson as Dwight Schrute, Jenna Fischer as Pam Beesly, BJ Novak as Ryan Howard, Mindy Kaling as Kelly Kapoor, Ellie Kemper as Erin Hannon and Craig Robinson as Darryl Philbin, among others.

Netflix has ordered the dark comedy series Bonding from Rightor Doyle. Zoe Levin and Brendan Scannell are set to star in this series. Bonding centers on the relationship between former high-school BFFs, Pete, a recently out gay man, and Tiff, a grad student and secretly one of New York City's top dominatrixes, who reconnect in an unexpected way years later. The dark comedy is loosely based on the life experiences of Rightor Doyle (Barry, You're the Worst, Nerve), who serves as writer, director, showrunner, and executive producer. In the comedy series, Zoe Levin (Palo Alto, The Way Way Back) stars as Tiff, Brendan Scannell (Heathers) stars as Pete, Micah Stock (Escape at Dannemora) stars as Doug, D'Arcy Carden (The Good Place) stars as Daphne, Eric Berryman (Empathy, Inc.) stars as Andy and Theo Stockman (High Maintenance) stars as Josh.

Mom is coming to TV Land. Mom, the sitcom, that is. The CBS sitcom, which is entering its 5th season this fall, is also entering broadcast syndication this fall. The series will begin on Monday, Sept. 18 on both local broadcast syndication and TV Land. Three years ago, TBS aired Mom for a month, but there is no word if TBS will make a play for actual cable syndication. TV Land will air the Anna Faris/Allison Janney sitcom every night at 10pm & 10:30pm and weeknights at 1:00am & 1:30am (on Fridays it will be extended from 1am-4am). The primetime airings will follow Everybody Loves Raymond (8-10pm) and the late night airings will follow The King of Queens (11pm-1am). Both hours replace an hour of Raymond.

In this sitcom from Chuck Lorre (The Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men, Mike & Molly), life hasn't been easy for Christy Plunkett (Anna Faris), but now she's newly sober and trying to mend fences with her mother, Bonnie (Emmy® winner Allison Janney) – and at least one of those things is definitely a good idea. Bonnie may have a difficult relationship with concepts like "telling the truth," "paying the rent," and "setting a good example for her grandchildren," but she certainly keeps life interesting.

Amazon is currently developing a script-to-series original Starsky & Hutch, from James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy). A co-production with Sony Pictures Television Studios and a continuation of the original 1970s series, the project will be a character-driven one hour procedural for Prime Video that deconstructs the buddy cop genre in the same entertaining way that Gunn did with the science fiction genre. The project is anticipated to be executive produced by James Gunn, writing partners Brian Gunn and Mark Gunn (Journey 2: The Mysterious Island), and Original Film's Neal Moritz (Preacher) and Pavun Shetty (New Girl). Starsky & Hutch will be written by Brian and Mark, based on an idea by James.

Starsky & Hutch is the first foray into television for James Gunn and his production company Troll Court Entertainment. James Gunn, whose credits included mostly fan favorite indie films prior to writing and directing Guardians of the Galaxy, is responsible for turning the Marvel property into one of the most memorable franchises in the Marvel universe. The franchise has garnered over $1.6 billion at the worldwide box office and solidified Gunn as one of the most in demand filmmakers in town. More info is certainly to come, so stay tuned.

It's alright, cause he's saved by the bell! CBS announced Mario Lopez as host of the new live-action game show Candy Crush, based on the globally renowned mobile game franchise. Produced by Pulse Creative in association with Lionsgate Television, King Ltd. and CBS Television Studios, Candy Crush premieres Sunday, July 9 at 9:00PM, ET/PT on the CBS Television Network. In the mobile game Candy Crush Saga, players match colorful candies in combinations of three or more to win points, defeat obstacles and progress through more than 2,000 levels. Candy Crush Saga and its sister title, Candy Crush Soda Saga, are two of the top 10 grossing mobile games in the U.S. On average, 18 billion game rounds of Candy Crush Saga are played every month around the world*.

In the new CBS series, the game that has become a worldwide phenomenon comes to life as teams of two people use their wits and physical agility to compete on enormous, interactive game boards featuring next generation technology. Teams will use their entire bodies to swing, slide and swipe to make matches in order to conquer Candy Crush and be crowned the champions.

Leah Remini will reunite with her former TV husband, Kevin James, when she guest stars in the two-part first season finale of new comedy Kevin Can Wait, Monday, May 1 and Monday, May 8 from 8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT on the CBS Television Network. James and Remini starred together for nine seasons on the hit series The King of Queens, also on CBS. In the two-part finale, Kevin agrees to come out of retirement briefly to reprise his undercover assignment in an ongoing police investigation where he and fellow cop Vanessa Cellucci (Remini) will, once again, pose as husband and wife.

Kevin Can Wait stars Kevin James, Erinn Hayes, Taylor Spreitler, Mary-Charles Jones, James DiGiacomo, Ryan Cartwright, Lenny Venito, Gary Valentine and Leonard Earl Howze. Kevin James, Rock Reuben, Rob Long, Jeff Sussman, Andy Fickman, Tony Sheehan and Steve Mosko are executive producers for CBS Television Studios in association with Sony Pictures Television. As recently announced, Kevin Can Wait has been renewed for the 2017-2018 season on the CBS Television Network.

A&E Networks had their upfront last night. Lifetime's mission to lead entertainment through female-centric storytelling continues with the greenlight of three new high-profile movies: Flint, starring Cher; Watcher in the Woods, starring Anjelica Huston; and I Am Elizabeth Smart featuring Elizabeth Smart as executive producer and on-screen narrator. Supporting Lifetime's new brand mantra, "Possibility is Power," forthcoming movie and series tent poles reimagine what is possible for women today while championing diverse role models and celebrating our evolving and complex ideas of womanhood. No one does this better than Cat Deeley and her new unscripted series at Lifetime, This Time Next Year, along with fierce television and fashion personality Yolanda Hadid in her new unscripted series to premiere later this year, Model Moms (wt).

Meanwhile at A&E, the iconic, genre-defining series which won countless industry awards, Biography, is returning to A+E Networks after five years as a re-imagined global, linear and digital non-fiction franchise. The Emmy Award-winning Biography, which will focus on meaningful events or personalities and their impact on our culture, will begin to roll out on A&E, HISTORY and Lifetime domestically and internationally across all platforms beginning this spring. Initial projects under the Biography banner include Biggie Smalls, Vladimir Putin, Tupac Shakur, John Gotti Jr., Elizabeth Smart, Mike Tyson and David Koresh.

Kevin James is returning to his stand-up roots with an all-new comedy special for Netflix, the world's leading Internet TV network. The veteran comic's latest special, slated to shoot later this year, will launch globally on Netflix in 2018. A comedian, producer, writer and Emmy-nominated actor, James is an established and well-respected staple in entertainment today. Discovered at the 1996 Montreal Comedy Festival -- and unwittingly taking the first step in what would become an illustrious career -- he signed a network development deal which lead to the creation of his 1998 CBS smash-hit The King of Queens. The sitcom, starring and executive-produced by James, ran for nine seasons and garnered the actor a 2006 Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. While Queens wrapped its run in 2007, it still continues to air daily and find a new audience in syndication around the world. James currently stars in and executive-produces the CBS sitcom Kevin Can Wait, which debuted in 2016. He'll next appear in the Netflix original film Sandy Wexler, launching globally April 14.

TV Land has ended its weeknight block party block. The block was airing weeknights from 6-9pm, with a different sitcom block each night. We had sitcoms like Roseanne, I Love Lucy, The Brady Bunch, and Gilligan's Island. All of these sitcoms are still airing at other times, except for I Love Lucy and Gilligan's Island, which are now both off the line-up. Airing weeknights from 6-9pm will now be The Andy Griffith Show. That sitcom will also air weekday mornings still but will now be expanded to approx. 9-11am. Walker, Texas Ranger will get a third airing, as it will air approx. 11am and it will continue to air approx. 4pm & 5pm. Gunsmoke will now go from three airings to just one airing at around noon. Bonanza will still follow from approx. 1-4pm. In primetime, new addition Who's the Boss? will no longer air 9-10pm, as The King of Queens will take over. Who's the Boss? will still air in weekend blocks and some weeknights at around 3am. The King of Queens will air 9-11:30pm leading into Raymond. Everything else will stay pretty much the same. As we mentioned, ABC Family made a schedule change since June 9 that has more Boy Meets World. They have officially announced why. ABC Family is celebrating all things Cory and Topanga with Boy Meets World mini marathons, airing Monday through Friday from 7:00AM- 8:30AM and 4:00PM-6:00PM ET/PT all summer long, in anticipation of the premiere of Disney Channel's family comedy Girl Meets World, Friday, June 27 at 9:45PM ET/PT. After the June 27 TV premiere, Girl Meets World will debut in its regular time slot of 8:30PM, ET/PT on Friday, July 11 on Disney Channel. Disney Channel had a four-hour Boy Meets World Father's Day marathon yesterday (June 15) to get things rolling. Boy Meets World ran on ABC from 1993-2000 and followed the lives of young Cory Matthews (Ben Savage), his friend Shawn Hunter (Rider Strong) and his girlfriend, Topanga Lawrence (Danielle Fishel), as they juggled family, friends and school. The hit sitcom tackled such serious topics as broken families, peer pressure and bullying, while maintaining its clever sense of humor.

Girl Meets World picks up the story 14 years later, with Cory and Topanga now living in New York, married and raising quirky five-year-old son, Auggie (August Maturo), and tween daughter, Riley (Rowan Blanchard). Riley and her best friend, Maya (Sabrina Carpenter), traverse the twists and turns of teenage years at Manhattan's John Quincy Adams Middle School, where Cory is their History teacher.

ABC Family is altering its sitcom line-up this December. Weekdays beginning Monday, December 2, will see some time changes and Grounded for Life being removed from the line-up again. That '70s Show will expand from 7-9am on weekday mornings, cutting out Grounded for Life in that 7am hour. At 9am, Still Standing returns to the line-up and will air weekday mornings at 9am replacing an airing of That '70s Show. Then the line-up remains the same from 9:30am-11am with The 700 Club programming and Gilmore Girls at 11am. Then its back to sitcoms with 8 Simple Rules and Reba switching hours, with Rules going to the 12pm hour and Reba moving to the 1pm hour. But that's not all for Reba! It will air in the 2pm hour as well, shifting the two-hour Boy Meets World block to 3-5pm instead of 2-4pm. In essence, the Reba hours are now consecutively airings (1-3pm) instead of broken up like it is now from 12-1pm and 4-5pm. And finally, new addition The Middle will remain from 5-7pm (well 5-6pm until 25 Days of Christmas event is over). One other note, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, which airs weeknights from 12-1am, will return to the weeknight line-up on Dec. 30 after the 25 Days of Christmas event is over. Leah Remini (The King of Queens) has been cast for a multi-episode arc in TV Land's original sitcom, The Exes. Remini, who was most recently a semi-finalist on ABC's Dancing With The Stars, will play Stuart's (David Alan Basche) sister Nicki – a tough-talking, no-nonsense, stylish and sexy woman from Staten Island whose 17-year marriage ends when she finds out her policeman husband had an affair. On this season of The Exes, Nicki retreats to Manhattan to seek the comfort of her brother, only to find out he's sharing an apartment with two guys, Phil (Donald Faison) and Haskell (Wayne Knight), and living next door to his divorce attorney Holly (Kristen Johnston). Unable and unwilling to keep her opinions to herself, she turns all their lives upside down as she tries to put her life back together and make a new future for herself in Manhattan.

The Exes, which returns with new episodes on Wednesday, December 11 at 10:30pm ET/PT, revolves around the unlikely trio of Phil, Haskell and Stuart, three roommates and divorcés who have finally found bromance after initially being forced to live together by their divorce attorney and landlord, Holly. Last we left the gang in the summer finale, Phil and Eden (Kelly Stables) realized that they were more interested in dating than remaining "friends with benefits," while the rest of the gang was surprised to find out that anything was going on between them at all. This past summer, The Exes had its highest-rated season ever among Adults 25-54, while also seeing a +21% increase among total viewers versus the prior season (Source: Nielsen, L+7, 6/19/13 - 8/28/13). TV Land has added 30 Rock to its schedule as of last night. The Tiny Fey comedy is being borrowed from sister network Comedy Central. TV Land is airing the series Mon-Thurs at 11pm and 2am. In between, The King of Queens will air from 11:30pm-2am. 30 Rock will also air Friday nights from 11pm-1:30am and Sunday mornings from 5am-7:30am. A special marathon block will air this Sunday (Nov. 3) from 9pm-12am as well. As for Comedy Central, it will continue to air the series, but mornings at various times for an episode or two from Fri-Sun. On TV Land it will be surrounded by The King of Queens as we mentioned, but also Everybody Loves Raymond (9-10pm) and Friends (10-11pm) leading in.

On this series, Head Writer Liz Lemon finds herself defending her choices and her live TV show when new network executive Jack Donaghy starts meddling with the cast. The series stars Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Tracy Morgan, Jane Krakowski, Jack McBrayer, Scott Adsit, Judah Friedlander, Katrina Bowden, Keith Powell, Lonny Ross, John Lutz, Kevin Brown, Grizz Chapman, and Maulik Pancholy over the years. The series lasted seven seasons and 138 episodes from 2006-2013. TV Land began with the very episode and it's airing in order.

FremantleMedia North America and Debmar-Mercury, Lionsgate's television distribution and syndication company, have joined forces to offer Celebrity Name Game. The fast-paced game show, in which celebrities team with contestants to identify famous names, including actors, singers, athletes, pop culture figures, politicians and even cartoon characters, is scheduled for a fall 2014 nationally syndicated launch with The Late, Late Show's Craig Ferguson hosting. Courteney Cox and David Arquette's Coquette Productions (Cougar Town) developed the half-hour strip based on the board game Identity Crisis with Scott St. John (Deal or No Deal), who will also serve as showrunner. COZI TV, the network designed to deliver an easy-to-watch, comfortable and familiar viewing experience to audiences nationwide, announced it will add a host of new movies and TV shows to its lineup in the coming months, including classic favorites Fantasy Island, Starsky & Hutch and Hart to Hart - all from Sony Pictures Television. Additionally, COZI TV renewed Sony's Charlie's Angels and will add dozens of new movies to its rotation, including Gidget, The Graduate, Tootsie and The Big Chill. We don't have a schedule just yet for COZI TV Fall 2013, but you can expect these shows to be added in the coming months.

Airing from 1978 to 1984, Fantasy Island was a hit TV series on ABC starring Ricardo Montalbán as Mr. Roarke, the overseer of a mysterious island located somewhere in the Pacific Ocean, where people from all walks of life came to live out their fantasies. Mr. Roarke's energetic sidekick Tattoo, played by Hervé Villechaize, opened each episode by ringing a bell and famously shouting, "The plane! The plane!" to welcome new guests to the island. COZI TV will take viewers to the crime ridden streets of fictional Bay City, California in the 1970s cop thriller ABC television series, Starsky & Hutch. Paul Michael Glaser starred as dark-haired, street-smart David Starsky alongside his blond, intellectual partner, Kenneth 'Hutch' Hutchinson, played by David Soul. Together, the duo patrolled Bay City in the infamous Striped Tomato, Starsky's two-door Ford Gran Torino, catching fugitives and fighting injustice. And finally, Robert Wagner and Stefanie Powers played Jonathan and Jennifer Hart in the popular ABC '80s series Hart to Hart, which ran from 1979 to 1984. Mr. Hart, a self-made millionaire and CEO of Hart Industries, and his wife, a freelance journalist, lived a glamorous lifestyle while spending their free time moonlighting as amateur detectives. In every episode, the couple found themselves involved in cases of smuggling, theft, international espionage or murder. Stay with us for any further updates on these new additions to COZI TV. They will join the likes of Charlie's Angels, Six Million Dollar Man, Magnum P.I., The Bionic Woman, Marcus Welby M.D., The Lone Ranger, The Virginian, Highway to Heaven, I Spy and The Roy Rogers Show. Since the network's official launch at the beginning of this year, COZI TV has grown significantly and is now available in 47.5 million homes or 42 percent of the country, reaching 40 markets, including those served by the ten NBC-owned stations.

The new Dancing with the Stars cast was announced and it is filled with many sitcom and TV stars! Stars from sitcoms including Rhoda, Saved by the Bell, The King of Queens, The Bill Engvall Show, and other TV hits like Pretty Little Liars and Glee. This season's dynamic lineup of stars -- including a sitcom legend, a reality mega-star, a football champion and a pop music sensation - will perform for the first time on live national television with their professional partners during the two-hour season premiere of Dancing with the Stars, Monday, September 16, 2013 from (8:00-10:01pm, ET on ABC. Dancing with the Stars returns for Season 17 and shakes things up by transitioning to a one night, two-hour format. The one-night extravaganza will feature competitive dance, dynamic group performances and musical guests, all building to a climactic elimination. Each week viewers can vote for their favorite dancing performance. Beginning with the second episode on Monday, September 23, one couple will be eliminated at the end of the show by combining the judges' scores from that night with the public votes from the previous week.

TV Land has announced its September 2013 schedule. We're not calling it their fall schedule yet since they haven't released plans for October and beyond yet (besides the premiere of new original sitcom Kirstie beginning Dec. 4). There are minor changes but a few notable notes. It seems Three's Company's contract is not going to be renewed, but we're not 100% sure yet. We do know that it is not on the schedule after Aug. 31, which is when the contract expires. The hit John Ritter comedy will have its last airings on Saturday, Aug. 31 from 5am-12pm, which is a bit longer than its usual Saturday airing. To sort of take its place will be the return of The Nanny. The sitcom actually quietly returns Aug. 22, airing late nights on Wednesdays, but it will get more airplay in September by airing Saturday mornings as well. Beginning Monday, Sept. 9, TV Land will bring back Boston Legal to its schedule -- but not in the mornings or overnight, but in early evening and primetime. The William Shatner/James Spader series will air on TV Land weekdays at 7pm and 8pm. TV Land has removed the late night airings of Curb Your Enthusiasm, which was getting overnight airings on Sunday nights. We were surprised to see that scheduled there, too...

Elsewhere, Friends will be airing Wednesdays from 11pm-12am now, while sitcoms overnight marathons will air every weeknight from 2-6am. On Mondays it is The Cosby Show, Tuesdays it is The Golden Girls, on Wednesday it's The Nanny, Thursdays has Roseanne and on Fridays it is Everybody Loves Raymond. Sometimes at 5:30am there are That '70s Show airings instead, but that comedy will be showcased on weekends starting at 2am. Everything else is pretty much the same, including mornings where the classic sitcoms are still not back, as Gunsmoke has completely taken over mornings. Yes, that means no I Love Lucy, Dick Van Dyke or Andy Griffith. We do get an Andy Griffith Show sighting on Labor Day (Monday, Sept. 2) from 8am-6pm.

Original series wise, Hot in Cleveland will have a two-episode season finale on Wednesday, Sept. 4 from 10-11pm. In the first airing, it's a Mary Tyler Moore Show reunion (as we hinted before), as Elka (Betty White) & Mamie (Georgia Engel) reunite their bowling team: Diane (special guest star Mary Tyler Moore), Peg (special guest star Cloris Leachman), & Angie (special guest star Valerie Harper), while Joy, Victoria & Melanie date a professor (George Hamilton), director & surgeon. On the season finale at 10:30pm, it's the big day of Victoria's wedding to incarcerated movie star Emmet Lawson (guest star Alan Dale), while Elka (Betty White) helps Joy reunite with her baby daddy (special guest star Craig Ferguson), who she hasn't seen in thirty-two years. TV Land's other two sitcoms, The Exes and The Soul Man will wrap up a week earlier on Wednesday, Aug. 28. Hot in Cleveland will return later this year for its fifth season, while The Exes will return for its second half of season three. TV Land has not ordered more episodes of The Soul Man yet.

Bounce TV has started production in Los Angeles on the network's first original scripted sitcom, My Crazy Roommate, as we first announced the series back in May. The series is created and produced by Bentley Kyle Evans (Martin, The Jamie Foxx Show) of Bent Outta Shape Productions. My Crazy Roommate will world premiere on Bounce TV, Tuesday, October 15 at 10:00 pm ET. My Crazy Roommate is a comedy series about two young women, Brooke (Laila Odom) and Chole (Brittany Richards), from vastly different backgrounds who are forced to live together while on a crusade to find fame and fortune in Hollywood. The reluctant roommates find themselves in a series of dilemmas causing them to temporarily put their differences aside to resolve the many obstacles they face throughout their journey.

Today we have part one of the TBS Fall 2013 schedule. We are calling it part one because this is their September schedule and there will likely be more schedule updates to come in October that we cannot reveal just yet, so stay tuned for that. For now, we will cover the September changes, including the premiere of reruns of The Cleveland Show! The animated comedy will begin Monday, Sept. 16 on TBS and will air weekdays at 1:30pm leading into an hour of American Dad! from 2-3PM. The Family Guy spin-off will also air at 7:30pm on Tuesday and Friday evenings, spelling Family Guy on those nights. Family Guy will be taking over that 7:30pm half-hour the other three weeknights as Seinfeld will now be from 6pm-7:30pm. Other key changes include Rules of Engagement just once a day now and moving 6am, while My Name is Earl is also cut to just once a day and now at 6:30am. Married...with Children moves up to 7am-8:30am, leading into Fresh Prince at 8:30am. After the Tyler Perry hour, more Fresh Prince is going to air from 10am-12pm. That's a whole lot of Fresh Prince, but will all these slots last in October? Stay tuned. The series will be moving to BET exclusively beginning in Fall 2014, as we mentioned before. According to Jim remains at noon, while Wipeout moves to 12:30pm instead of 2pm. Everybody Loves Raymond will be off of the weekday schedule, but it will now air in a evening block on Saturday nights from 6-8pm.

Back to weekdays, Cleveland Show is at 1:30pm as mentioned into American Dad's new timeslots of 2-3pm. Friends will now be 3-5pm, instead of 3:30-5:30, as Cougar Town weekdays repeats will be leaving. King of Queens is now in the 5pm hour, leading into three episodes of Seinfeld from 6-7:30pm and as mentioned Family Guy and Cleveland Show will share the 7:30pm half-hour, with the former Mon, Wed, Thurs and the latter on Tues and Fri. Primetime will remain the same with a mix of Family Guy and The Big Bang Theory on Mon-Thurs from 8-11pm. Movies will air on Fridays. Conan remains in late night at 11, into a repeat of The Office at midnight. An encore of Conan airs at 12:30am into another episode of The Office at 1:30am. After a late movie, Married...with Children closes the night out on most days from 4-6am. On Saturdays, sitcoms will air from 6-11am with an hour each of Married...with Children and Fresh Prince from 6-8am. The Tyler Perry hour of House of Payne and Meet the Browns airs from 8-9am. The 9am hour has Are We There Yet? and According to Jim into an hour of Rules of Engagement at 10. Movies will air from 11am-3pm, then Friends is back from 3-5pm into King of Queens from 5-6pm, similar to weekdays. Everybody Loves Raymond moves into early evening on Saturdays from 6-8pm leading into The Big Bang Theory primetime block from 8-11pm. More movies follow and the late night schedule has more Married...with Children. The Sunday line-up remains intact with Married...with Children and Friends from 6-9am then movies the rest of the day.

ABC has set an airdate for Disney·Pixar's first special for television, Toy Story OF TERROR!, a spooky new tale featuring all of your favorite characters from the "Toy Story" films, airing Wednesday, October 16 from 8:00-8:30pm ET on the ABC Comedy Wednesday block for one night. ABC first announced plans for the special at the annual Upfront presentation in May, but now we have an actual airdate! What starts out as a fun road trip for the Toy Story gang takes an unexpected turn for the worse when the trip detours to a roadside motel. After one of the toys goes missing, the others find themselves caught up in a mysterious sequence of events that must be solved before they all suffer the same fate in this Toy Story OF TERROR!. The cast of Toy Story OF TERROR! includes Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz, Joan Cusack as Jessie, Carl Weathers as Combat Carl/Combat Carl Jr., Timothy Dalton as Mr. Pricklepants, Don Rickles as Mr. Potato Head, Wallace Shawn as Rex and Kristen Schaal as Trixie.

Today we preview the new sitcoms that made the 2013-14 broadcast network schedules. There will be a total of fourteen new sitcoms on the fall schedule. Four are traditional multi-camera sitcoms. Ten are single-camera comedies. Nine additional sitcoms have been ordered for mid-season. Six will be single-camera comedies. Two will be traditional multi-camera sitcoms. One will be an animated comedy from Fox.

ABC is adding four single-camera comedies to their fall schedule. They also have another single-camera comedy for mid-season. Top-rated CBS has four sitcoms on the fall schedule, with two single-camera and two multi-camera. They have a single-camera comedy set for mid-season. Fox will have three new sitcoms in the fall, with two single-camera and one multi-camera. They also have three scheduled for mid-season, with two being single-camera and one animated series. NBC goes for the laughs with three new comedies on their fall schedule. Two are single-camera comedies. Their third sitcom is a multi-camera sitcom, starring Sean Hayes and Linda Lavin. They have three sitcoms scheduled for mid-season, with two single-camera and one multi-camera.

Before there were parenting blogs, trophies for showing up and peanut allergies, there was a simpler time called the '80s. For geeky 11-year-old Adam (Sean Giambrone) these were his wonder years, and he faced them armed with a video camera to capture all the crazy. The Goldbergs are a loving family like any other, just with a lot more yelling. Mom Beverly (Wendi McClendon-Covey) is a classic "smother," an overbearing, overprotective matriarch who rules this brood with 100% authority and zero sense of boundaries. Dad Murray (Jeff Garlin) is gruff, hot-tempered and trying to parent without screaming. Sister Erica (Hayley Orrantia) is 17, hot, terrifying and not one to mess with. Barry (Troy Gentile) is 16, a grade-A spaz with classic middle child syndrome. Adam (Sam Giambrone) is the youngest, a camera-wielding future director who's crushing on an older woman. Rounding out the family is beloved grandfather Al "Pops" Solomon (George Segal), the wild man of the clan, a shameless Don Juan who's schooling Adam in the ways of love. When Pops buys a new sports car and offers his Caddy to middle child Barry, it's enough to drive this already high-strung family to the brink of chaos.

Ex-wife number two, Jackie (Michaela Watkins), is mother to adopted son Bert (Albert Tsai), and can pull Pete's strings with her special blend of neurotic, new-ageyness. Juggling all this baggage is uncharted territory for Kate, who finds support with her best friend Meg (Natalie Morales), a party-hearty singleton and the only woman Kate knows who has less experience with kids than she has.

Terry Gannon Jr. (Maggie Lawson) was an All Star softball player until life threw her a few curve balls -- a baby, a lost college scholarship and a loser for a husband. The Cannon is an opinionated, beer-guzzling, ex-athlete who never quite made the cut either as a single father or professional baseball player. As hard as Terry tries to keep Danny away from the sports-driven lifestyle of her youth, Tommy wants to play Little League. His stunning lack of baseball skills (he doesn't even know which hand the mitt goes on) makes him the laughing stock of the baseball field and of his grandfather's living room. When Danny and a group of other athletically-challenged hopefuls fail to make the team, Danny's disappointment forces Terry to face her past. So when a wealthy neighbor volunteers to finance a team for the rejected kids, Terry reluctantly offers to coach the team of misfits.

This new multi-camera comedy series follows two successful guys - and childhood best friends - now in their mid-30s whose relatively stable lives get turned upside down when their pain-in-the-neck patriarchs move in.

Eli (Emmy Award winner Seth Green, Family Guy, Robot Chicken) and Warner (Emmy Award nominee Giovanni Ribisi, My Name Is Earl, Ted, Avatar) are the co-founders of a successful video game company. Warner is married with two kids and a beautiful home. Despite his success, he's a bundle of nerves, constantly worrying that his next paycheck will be his last. He and Eli came up with the idea for the company while stoned in college, and Eli has remained stoned ever since. In contrast to Warner's picture-perfect life, Eli's is a bit messier, with brief stabs at self-improvement. What he lacks in courage, he also lacks in moral fiber.

Although Warner and Eli are at very different places in their lives, they are so close, their friendship is more like a marriage. And that relationship is more complicated now, as their dads invade their lives. Warner's neuroses likely stem from having grown up in a family whose fortunes fluctuated wildly from year to year, due to the failed get-rich-quick schemes of his father, Crawford (Martin Mull, Two and a Half Men). A self-described "businessman" (in wine-stained khakis) and a perpetual optimist, Crawford still firmly believes the next big opportunity is just around the corner. Now living with Warner and Warner's beautiful, hotheaded wife, Camila (Vanessa Lachey, True Beauty, The Bold and the Beautiful), Crawford continues to spend beyond his means, making well-intentioned grand gestures that he can't afford and that Warner ends up paying for.

Eli's dad, David (Academy Award and Emmy Award nominee Peter Riegert, The Good Wife, The Sopranos), is a towering monument to negativity. Equal parts cheap and cranky, David relishes disappointment and has always prepared his son for it. After hitting hard times, David turns to Eli, who reluctantly agrees to let his dad move in - even as he continues to blame David for his own shortcomings, including his inability to settle down. In fact, his longest relationship with a woman remains the one with his cleaning lady, Edna (Tonita Castro, Go On, Seeking a Friend for the End of the World).

Trying to help both Warner and Eli through their myriad life challenges is Veronica (Brenda Song, New Girl, Scandal), their witty and entitled assistant, who is a force to be reckoned with. The invasion of the Dads will give these friends and business partners their biggest challenge yet. Between dubious schemes, passive-aggressive busy-bodying and light kissing-on-the-lips, will these beleaguered sons be able to hold the line in the face of two massive game-changers?

Detective Jake Peralta (Samberg) is a good enough cop that he's never had to work that hard or follow the rules too closely. Perhaps because he has the best arrest record among his colleagues, he's been enabled - if not indulged - throughout his entire career. That is, until the precinct gets a new commanding officer, Captain Ray Holt (Braugher), who reminds this hotshot cop to respect the badge.

Jake may have collared more criminals, but Detective Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumero, One Life to Live, Gossip Girl) is close behind, and she's keenly aware of how many arrests she needs to close the gap. Amy grew up with seven brothers who were all cops. She's the first girl in the family to put on a police uniform, and suffice it to say: she's extremely competitive...about everything.

Also working cases in Brooklyn's 99th precinct is Sergeant Terry Jeffords (Terry Crews, Bridesmaids, Everybody Hates Chris), a linebacker of a man who's lost his nerve, not because he's a wimp, but because a year ago, his wife had twin baby girls - Cagney and Lacey - and he can't imagine not seeing them grow up. Detective Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio, Wreck-It Ralph, Superbad), who idolizes Jake, is the precinct's workhorse; he's not that brilliant, he's not physically gifted, but he tries harder than anyone else. Charles pines for Detective Rosa Diaz (Stephanie Beatriz, Modern Family, The Closer), with whom he stands no chance at all. Rosa is simultaneously tough, sexy and scary as hell. She's vocally opinionated about everything. Cleaning up everyone's mess is Gina Linetti (Chelsea Peretti, Parks and Recreation, Kroll Show), the eccentric, civilian office manager who somehow gets involved in everyone's business.

Together, these tightly knit - or is it tightly wound? - cops interrogate suspects, arrest perps and solve murders. But, ultimately, Brooklyn Nine-Nine is a workplace comedy that's not really about the job. It's about the men and women behind the badge - singing karaoke, grabbing a beer and hitting on each other - all while protecting the fine people of Brooklyn.

Enlisted is an irreverent but heartfelt single-camera comedy about three brothers on a small Florida Army base and the group of misfits who surround them.

Charming, funny and a natural-born leader, Sergeant Pete Hill (Geoff Stults, Ben and Kate, The Finder) was on a path for a huge military career until one mistake overseas got him booted stateside to Fort McGee, the base in Florida where his two younger brothers are stationed. Now, as head of their platoon, Pete must serve both as big brother and military boss. Corporal Derrick Hill (Chris Lowell, Private Practice, Veronica Mars) is the middle brother - smart and sarcastic, he likes to stir up trouble and doesn't really care about being a soldier. Private Randy Hill (Parker Young, Suburgatory), on the other hand, loves it. He's the hyper-enthusiastic, hyper-goofy - just hyper - youngest brother who wants to be the gung-ho "GI Joe" military ideal.

The Hill brothers serve on the Rear Detachment (Rear D) unit, comprised of the soldiers left behind when everyone else is deployed, because they're not quite good enough to be sent overseas, yet not bad enough to be kicked out of the Army. These are the men and women who mow lawns at the base, sort mail, wash tanks, find lost dogs and maybe engage in a war game or two. But the Rear D's main job is taking care of deployed soldiers' families. Whatever they need, the Rear D soldiers do. And, in the event that something happens to a soldier overseas, the Rear D troops break the news to the family and become a supportive shoulder to cry on. It's a job that shifts each moment from the thrilling to the mundane to the emotional and back again.

Fort McGee is run by Command Sergeant Major Donald Cody (Emmy Award winner Keith David, Cloud Atlas, The Cape), a firm but fair man who served with the brothers' late father. Major Cody promised to look out for them, so he brought all the brothers to the base to fulfill that promise. Cody has seen it all and lost a foot to prove it - which no one can forget, probably since he never misses an opportunity to bring it up. Confident, funny, tough and beautiful, Sergeant Jill Perez (Angelique Cabral, Friends with Benefits) is the same rank as Pete and leads the other Rear D platoon on base.

A military-set family comedy, Enlisted centers on three brothers who, when the best of the best are sent overseas, stay behind to try to keep the base in order. Between hijacking tanks, inventing new drinking games and accidentally blowing up a fuel truck, they will inadvertently discover the key to strengthening their long-lost childhood bonds.

Surviving Jack - Mid-Season on Fox (Single-Camera)

Father knows best…well, sort of. Surviving Jack is a new single-camera comedy based on best-selling author Justin Halpern’s autobiographical book, I Suck at Girls. Set in 1990s Southern California, the ensemble series is about a man becoming a dad, as his son is becoming a man, in a time before “coming of age” was something you could Google.

Jack Dunlevy (Emmy Award nominee Christopher Meloni, True Blood, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit), ex-military and an oncologist, is a no-bull kind of guy. He sees little, if any, need to sugar-coat the truth. Up to this point, Jack’s been the parent who’s left for work early, come home late, eaten the big piece of chicken, yelled at his kids and gone to bed. But after years of deftly raising and running the family, his wife, Joanne, is going back to law school, leaving Jack as a full-time parent for the very first time.

Jack’s teenage son, Frankie (Connor Buckley, Deception), is just starting his freshman year in high school. Lanky, quick-witted, self-deprecating and not entirely sure of himself, all Frankie wants to do is fly under the radar. But over the summer, he grew 10 inches, threw a no-hitter against a rival team and started to attract girls – all of which put him in some awkward situations – especially when the only base he’s ever been to is on the field.

Fortunately, no matter how embarrassing the situations Frankie gets himself into are, Jack is there to pick up the pieces and lead his son to manhood…with the least gentle hand possible. Although Jack may be unorthodox, unfiltered and sometimes even unkind in his approach, his intentions are always good. For better or for worse, he’s Frankie’s only resource now.

Even more confusing to Jack than Frankie’s growing pains are those of his daughter, Rachel (Claudia Lee, Hart of Dixie), a gorgeous and super-smart 17-year-old high school junior. Up until now, Rachel’s done everything right. No longer under the watchful eye of her mother, she’s now a handful. Jack considers the mind of the teenage girl beyond his (or anyone’s) comprehension – a fact which Rachel will take full advantage of.

In addition to disciplining his own children, Jack must keep a watchful eye on Frankie’s best friends: George (Kevin Hernandez, Get the Gringo, The Sitter), an overly confident Mexican-American with a big vocabulary; and Mikey (newcomer Tyler Foden), a tough kid from a broken home.

Only time will tell if Jack’s blunt and unpredictable parenting style will keep his kids out of trouble, or if Joanne will have to put down the law books and somehow step in to keep the family order. Until then, Jack’s the dad the Dunlevy kids always wished they had – most of the time. For someone who is used to taking care of people with cancer, Jack’s got this…right?

When two people finally come together, they never come together alone.

Us & Them is an outrageous but authentic ensemble single-camera comedy about a pair of young lovers, whose path to happily-ever-after is complicated by the screwed-up circus of people closest to them.

New York pharmaceutical copywriter Gavin (Emmy Award nominee Jason Ritter, Parenthood, The Event) is a neurotic Woody Allen-ish personality with indie-rock looks, who has never been in love. On the other hand, pretty Pennsylvania-based printing press employee Stacey (Alexis Bledel, Mad Men, Gilmore Girls) has a subtle wit and has been engaged before. For the past six months, they have been flirting online and finally agree to meet…with their best friends in tow for double-date safety.

Gavin and Stacey’s wingmen are, respectively, Chris "Archie" Archuletta (Dustin Ybarra, We Bought a Zoo) and Nessa (Ashlie Atkinson, Inside Man, Rescue Me). Archie is often wrong but never in doubt and the loudest, most outrageous character in any room. Nessa is brutally blunt – actually, just brutal, in general – with a rock-a-billy look, complete with messy tattoos (many of which she doesn’t remember getting).

Gavin lives in an apartment below his parents, Pam (Emmy Award nominee Jane Kaczmarek, Whitney, Raising the Bar, Malcolm in the Middle) and Michael (Kurt Fuller, Psych, Midnight in Paris). With zero filter and little volume control, Pam is fearful she is aging and that the good times may be behind her. Michael thinks of himself as the family’s voice of reason. He is wrong.

Dillsburg, PA, is a tiny dot of grit in the green countryside. Stacey lives there with her widowed mom, Gwen (Kerri Kenney, Reno 911!). Brian (guest star Michael Ian Black, Ed), Stacey’s uncle, and her late father’s brother, has taken on the role of family protector. He is a simple man who is amazed by the little things in life…like white Toblerones. Stacey’s long-distance romance unnerves both Gwen and Brian, who fear she might fall in love and move away to the big city.

When all of these characters collide to create a salty but sweet romantic comedy, we wonder not if the two leads will get together, but how they ever will stay together. After all, it’s complicated enough trying to make a relationship work. But the biggest complications of all are the friends and family who are part of the package deal.

Murder Police - Mid-Season on Fox (Animated)

Murder Police is a new animated comedy series that expands the boundaries of the cop show genre as only animation can. From David A. Goodman (Family Guy) and rising writer/animator/performer Jason Ruiz, the series follows a dedicated, but inept detective and his colleagues – some perverted, some corrupt, some just plain lazy – in a twisted city precinct.

At the center of this maelstrom is Manuel Sanchez (Ruiz), a neurotic and nerdy cop who aspires to be a good policeman, but his efforts to solve crimes are constantly put in jeopardy by his own clumsiness and the incompetence of his fellow detectives. Making matters worse, his egotistical, bribe-accepting partner, Tommy Margaretti (Will Sasso, The Three Stooges, MADtv), a tough, rule-breaking “bad cop,” can’t interrogate a suspect without beating him up.

The other detectives in the precinct include Randall Hickox (Chi McBride, Golden Boy), a cop with little interest in police work. He’s lost a lot of partners, hates his job and often hands off his resume to crime scene witnesses. Randall’s newest partner, Justice (Jane Lynch, Glee), is a self-righteous working mother whose child is lodged in a baby bjorn that is permanently secured around her chest. Undercover cop Donel is in so deep that he often does things of questionable legality. They all are supervised by the perpetually annoyed Captain John Rushour (Peter Atencio, Key and Peele), a brusque, overweight old-school cop who expects failure and can’t be bothered to even get out of his Rascal scooter.

Manuel’s ex-wife, Rosa (Justina Machado, Private Practice, Six Feet Under), is a defense lawyer who remains irritated that Manuel always put his job first. But they remain bonded in the upbringing of their son, Mario (Ruiz), a troubled teen who is less impressed with his father than he is by the criminals he catches.

These cops often find themselves mildly interested in the most recent crime victim, but completely obsessed with who “destroyed” the bathroom. Nevertheless, where there’s a mystery, Manuel somehow finds a way to solve it.

Murder Police is produced by Bento Box Animation (Bob's Burgers) and 20th Century Fox Television. The series is co-created by David A. Goodman (Family Guy) and Jason Ruiz – one of the writers/animators discovered through the Fox Inkubation program. Goodman serves as executive producer and showrunner, and Ruiz is co-executive producer.

Parents Dan Yoder (Mike O'Malley, Glee, My Name Is Earl) and wife Karina (Mary McCormack, In Plain Sight, The West Wing) find out on the day their daughter Molly (Ella Rae Peck (Deception, Gossip Girl) is graduating from high school with an acceptance to college, she announces she pregnant. Across town in East L.A., Junior Hernandez (Joseph Haro, Glee, Awkward), in the middle of his high school valedictorian speech, gets a text from girlfriend Molly that he's going to be a daddy. Expectedly, Junior's parents Miguel (Ricardo Chavira, Desperate Housewives) and Lisette (Justina Machado, Six Feet Under, ER) are also upset, as they now have Caucasians in the family. What follows is a crash course in culture blending as Molly and Junior decide they want to get married and, in doing so, bring together two very different families. The dads have the most difficult time reconciling while the moms take a softer approach to get to know one another. When the parents fully realize that their kids are serious about making a life together, the adults exhale and begin to come to terms with this new blended family and start to understand it will take, humor, love and tolerance to make it all work.

Sean (Sean P. Never one to do anything halfway, Sean's intent on being the best dad ever, so he loads up on parenting how-to books and plans Pinterest-worthy family dinners. But it seems his company's new owner has decided Sean and his team should work longer hours, putting a damper on his homemaking plans and throwing a kink in Sean's perfectly constructed work/life balance. Ellie sees this development as a plus. She loves her dad, but he's clearly going overboard. From keeping his boss happy, employees motivated and enduring his mother's tactless "advice" to raising a smart, grounded and healthy kid, it's going to be a growing experience, to say the least. But if anyone can handle it all, it's Sean.

The trick, as it's always been, was to make Mike think it was his idea. Now the plan is in motion and Mike will be back to juggling home, family, and career - just like the old days, but only better.

Based on the best-selling Nick Hornby (High Fidelity, An Education) novel, writer Jason Katims (Friday Night Lights, Parenthood) and director Jon Favreau (Iron Man, Revolution) present a different kind of coming-of-age story. Will Freeman (David Walton, Bent, Perfect Couples) lives a charmed existence as the ultimate man-child. After writing a hit song, he was granted a life of free time, free love and freedom from financial woes. He's single, unemployed and loving it. So imagine his surprise when Fiona (Minnie Driver, Good Will Hunting, Barney's Version), a needy single mom and her oddly charming 11-year-old son, Marcus (Benjamin Stockham, 1600 Penn), move in next door and disrupt his perfect world. When Marcus begins dropping by his home unannounced, Will's not so sure about being a kid's new best friend, until, of course, Will discovers that women find single dads irresistible. That changes everything and a deal is struck: Marcus will pretend to be Will's son and, in return, Marcus is allowed to chill at Will's house. Before he realizes it, Will starts to enjoy the visits and even finds himself looking out for the kid. It's not every family that's brought closer together by divorce... but then again, the Fishers aren't exactly typical. Take Mel Fisher, for example. Whether it's chopping down trees, showing his daughter how to drive or playing football with his son, he's never let the fact that he's blind slow him down.

Then there's Joyce Fisher, possibly the only mom in Pasadena to smoke a pipe. For her, divorce is like a second coming of age, a chance to be the teen she never was. Just ask her '80s-obsessed teenage daughter Katie, whose clothes she's always borrowing (that is, when Mom's not tagging along with Katie to the mall).

At the center of all this is Henry, the Fishers' 11-year-old son. Having always been his dad's eyes, ears and wingman, Henry's less than thrilled when Mel shows up with Elvis, a guide dog... which is also how Henry learns about the pending divorce. Awkward. While reluctant to the changes this "big ball of fur" would bring, it's through an Adult Henry's voice-over (Jason Bateman) that we find out his parents' split would "allow all of us to finally discover... who we needed to be."

Starring J.K. Simmons (Spider-Man, Law & Order) and from executive producer/writer DJ Nash (Guys with Kids, Up All Night) comes a comedy about a family in transition, and the love that guides them forward.

When confident slacker Danny Beeman (Chris D'Elia, Whitney, "Glory Daze) takes Justin (comedian Brent Morin) on as a roommate, Danny unwittingly inherits Justin's group of romantically challenged friends. Seeing himself as the ultimate player, Danny decides to teach the crew (who he dubs "The Undateables") everything he knows about "the game of love." For their first lesson, Danny takes the guys to an event hosted by his sister, Leslie (Bianca Kajlich, "Rules of Engagement"), who is a single mom with dating difficulties of her own. At first, Danny's advice seems to pay off big-time: The shy guy talks to a girl, the no-filter dude learns it's never OK to ask a woman when she's due, and his nebbish roommate, Justin, goes home with a mystery woman. It's not until the next day that they figure out it was Leslie. Here's a refreshing comedy about the "do's," "don'ts" and "duhs" of dating.

TV Land has made a last minute schedule shake-up that has begun effective immediately. The biggest move was bringing back Home Improvement from early mornings back into evenings leading into primetime. The Tim Allen '90s sitcom is now airing weekdays at 7:00pm & 7:30pm. Also getting extra exposure is M*A*S*H, which is expanded from 5-6pm to 5-7pm. M*A*S*H also still airs Mondays at various times beginning in the morning, ranging from all-day or various times during the day. The Golden Girls in primetime is now only 8-9pm, but for the next few weeks TV Land is airing encores of Hot in Cleveland and The Exes in the hour from Mon-Thurs until their season premieres, but The Golden Girls is airing in this hour on Fridays for now. Raymond and King of Queens blocks remain intact from 9pm-1am. Then, since The Golden Girls is losing its 6-8pm hours, the sitcom has gained the 1-3am block, shifting That '70s Show to 3-4am. Rounding out the night is Roseanne from 4-5am and The Cosby Show from 5-6am.

In the mornings, Murder, She Wrote and Boston Legal have been removed, so the 8am hour is now back-to-back episodes of The Dick Van Dyke Show, which was airing at 10am. I Love Lucy is now airing in the 9am hour, while The Andy Griffith Show gets the 10am-12pm block leading into Gunsmoke and Bonanza from 12-5pm. Murder, She Wrote is not completely gone, as the Angela Lansbury drama is now going to air Saturdays afternoons (times vary) leading into a block of The Golden Girls. However, Boston Legal is no longer on the schedule as it was only airing Fridays at 8am before. Back to weekends, the rest of the line-up remains intact with blocks of The Golden Girls, Raymond, King of Queens, Cosby Show, Roseanne, Hot in Cleveland, That '70s Show and Curb Your Enthusiasm (late nights on Sundays). The timings for the blocks on weekends will vary week-to-week. That's all the changes that we have right now and no word yet if the schedule will have any impact on the launch of Friends on June 14, as the sitcom will launch with a 5-night marathon event, as we reported.
