Everybody Still Hates Chris Premieres September 25 on Comedy Central; Final Season of Somebody Somewhere Returns in October

Everybody Still Hates Chris

Comedy Central announced the premiere date of its highly anticipated adult animated series, Everybody Still Hates Chris. The reimagined series starring and executive produced by Chris Rock premieres Wednesday, September 25 at 10pm ET/PT. Terry Crews and Tichina Arnold also star alongside Tim Johnson Jr., Ozioma Akagha, Terrence Little Gardenhigh, and Gunnar Sizemore. The series is produced by CBS Studios and Chris Rock Enterprises, in association with 3 Arts Entertainment.

Everybody Still Hates Chris will feature Chris Rock as "Adult Chris," narrating stories inspired by his experience growing up as a skinny nerd in a large working-class family in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, during the late 1980s. Terry Crews will voice "Julius," Chris' father who is a gentle giant with a relentless work ethic, and tightwad approach to life. He grew up dirt poor, so he knows the cost of everything down to the penny. He works two jobs to support the family, and on his days off, he takes on a third job. Tichina Arnold will voice "Rochelle," Chris' mother who is smart, strong-willed, and has a nurturing spirit, but she can also be hot-headed, especially when it comes to her kids. She tolerates zero nonsense, so she quits more jobs in a month than most people do in a lifetime.

In addition to the cast of the original series Everybody Hates Chris, Tim Johnson Jr. (Saturdays) will voice "Young Chris," a nerd who wants to be cool but he's outshined by his younger brother, tortured by his little sister, and foiled by his cheapskate dad; Ozioma Akagha (DELILAH) will voice "Tonya," Chris' feisty baby sister, with the face of an angel and the heart of a demon, who gets along with her middle brother Drew but leaps at any chance to get Chris in trouble; Terrence Little Gardenhigh (Danger Force) will voice "Drew," the golden child of the family who is the epitome of Black Excellence: handsome, athletic, a ladies man, taller and cooler than his older brother Chris; and Gunnar Sizemore (Kung Fu Panda) will voice "Greg," Chris's only friend at school who is girl-obsessed, status conscious and raised by a single dad. Everybody Hates Chris, Chris Rock's autobiographical, critically-acclaimed family series, ran for four seasons on UPN then The CW from 2005 - 2009. The series won a NAACP Image Award for its writing in 2007 and was also nominated for a Golden Globe and several Emmy Awards. All four seasons of the original series are available to stream on Paramount+.

The Peabody Award-winning and critically acclaimed third and final season of the HBO Original comedy series Somebody Somewhere, starring, written, and executive produced by comedian and singer Bridget Everett, returns Sunday, October 27 (10:30-11:00 p.m. ET/PT) on HBO and will be available to stream on Max.

From Mighty Mint, Duplass Brothers Productions, and executive producers Bridget Everett, Hannah Bos and Paul Thureen, the series follows Sam (Everett), a true Kansan on the surface, but, beneath it all, struggling to fit the hometown mold. Grappling with loss and acceptance, singing is Sam's saving grace and leads her on a journey to discover herself and a community of outsiders who don't fit in but don't give up, showing that finding your people, and finding your voice, is possible. Anywhere. Somewhere. In season three, we see growth against all odds. starring Bridget Everett (Sam Miller), Jeff Hiller (Joel), Mary Catherine Garrison (Tricia Miller), Tim Bagley (Brad), Murray Hill (Fred Rococo), Jennifer Mudge (Susan), Mercedes White (Tiffani), Meighan Gerachis (Irma), and season three welcomes Ólafur Darri Ólafsson (Iceland).

Only Murders in the Building Season 4 Trailer; Grotesquerie Gets Premiere Date on FX

Only Murders in the Building

The trailer for the fourth season of original comedy series Only Murders in the Building has been released by Hulu. The Emmy®- winning series returns August 27 on Hulu, with new episodes streaming Tuesdays. In season four of Only Murders in the Building, Charles, Oliver & Mabel wrestle with the shocking events at the end of season three surrounding Charles' stunt double & friend Sazz Pataki. Questioning whether Sazz or Charles was the intended victim, our trio’s investigation leads them all the way to Los Angeles where a Hollywood studio is readying a film about the Only Murders podcast. As our amateur sleuths race back to New York, they embark on an even more epic journey — traversing their building’s courtyard to delve into the twisted lives of the Arconia's West Tower residents. Starring Steve Martin, Martin Short, Selena Gomez, Michael Cyril Creighton, and special guest stars include Meryl Streep, Zach Galifianakis, Eugene Levy, Eva Longoria, Richard Kind, Jane Lynch, Melissa McCarthy, Kumail Nanjiani, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Molly Shannon, and more.

Grotesquerie

FX set the premiere date and released official key art for Grotesquerie, Ryan Murphy's new horror drama series, which will premiere on Wednesday, September 25 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX and stream the next day on Hulu. The 10-episode first season will be coming soon to Disney+ internationally. In FX's Grotesquerie, a series of heinous crimes have unsettled a small community. "Detective Lois Tryon" feels these crimes are eerily personal, as if someone - or something - is taunting her. At home, Lois grapples with a strained relationship with her daughter, a husband in long-term hospital care and her own inner demons. With no leads and unsure of where to turn, she accepts the help of "Sister Megan," a nun and journalist with the Catholic Guardian. Sister Megan, with her own difficult past, has seen the worst of humanity, yet she still believes in its capacity for good. Lois, on the other hand, fears the world is succumbing to evil. As Lois and Sister Megan string together clues, they find themselves ensnared in a sinister web that only seems to raise more questions than answers.

The series stars Emmy(R) Award-winner Niecy Nash-Betts as "Detective Lois Tryon," Emmy Award-winner Courtney B. Vance as "Marshall Tryon," Emmy Award-nominee Lesley Manville as "Nurse Redd," Tony(R) Award-nominee Micaela Diamond as "Sister Megan," Nicholas Alexander Chavez as "Father Charlie," Raven Goodwin as "Merritt Tryon" and Travis Kelce.
