CBS Announces Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen 20th Anniversary Special; Hulu to Debut Exclusive Bob's Burgers Holiday Short

CBS announces Byron Allen's Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen 20th Anniversary Special airing Tuesday, Sept. 29 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and streaming on Paramount+. The groundbreaking comedy series created and hosted by Byron Allen honors its 20th anniversary with a two-hour primetime special that captures two decades of unforgettable laughs, candid stories and a celebration of the show’s lasting place in the world of comedy. Talent will be announced closer to the special.

Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen features a rotating panel of some of the top names in comedy in a talk show format hosted by Byron Allen and airs Monday through Friday, 11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT on the CBS Television Network and streams live on Paramount+.

At the Bob's Burgers San Diego Comic-Con panel, creator and executive producer Loren Bouchard announced "On the Fort Day of Christmas," a holiday short premiering this year exclusively on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ internationally in most markets. Bouchard was joined on the panel by stars H. Jon Benjamin, John Roberts, Kristen Schaal, Eugene Mirman, Dan Mintz and Supervising Director Bernard Derriman.

In "On the Fort Day of Christmas," a record-breaking Christmas snowstorm means one thing to the Belcher kids - a record-breaking Christmas snow fort.

Season 17 of Bob's Burgers returns to Fox in 2027, and will stream on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers in the U.S.

Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special Coming to Disney+; Fox Spring 2026 Schedule and Finale Dates

It was announced that the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special is coming to Disney+ on March 24. The special will celebrate the iconic series that defined a generation — exactly two decades after its Disney Channel debut.

The special will be filmed in front of a live studio audience and will feature an exclusive, in-depth interview with Miley Cyrus, hosted by Alex Cooper. The conversation will offer an intimate look at the creation of one of pop culture's most iconic characters and the lasting impact the show and character have had on fans around the world. With heartfelt nostalgia and fresh perspective, Cyrus will revisit the moments, music and memories that defined an era. Viewers will be treated to never-before-seen archival footage, while some of the most memorable sets from Hannah Montana are brought back to life — including the Stewart family living room and the legendary Hannah Montana closet. There will also be some familiar *notes* that find their way back into the spotlight...

With one of Disney's most passionate fandoms, Hannah Montana became a global phenomenon, reshaping kids' television, influencing music and fashion, and launching a generation-defining pop star. The EmmyⓇ-nominated series spawned 14 platinum and 18 gold albums worldwide, as well as two feature films.

The special is produced by HopeTown Entertainment and Unwell Productions. Ashley Edens serves as showrunner, with Miley Cyrus, Tish Cyrus-Purcell, Alex Cooper and Matt Kaplan as executive producers. Cooper will also host the special, guiding Hannah Montana fans through the nostalgic and highly anticipated anniversary celebration.

Fox announced its Spring 2026 premiere dates, unveiling a dynamic slate of bold event programming, high-octane adventure and the return of proven hits. From high-stakes game shows and iconic culinary battles to heartfelt romance, immersive adventure, and epic event series, the spring lineup delivers must-watch programming anchored by familiar favorites and all-new original programming.

This Easter season, the powerful biblical event series The Faithful: Women of the Bible, starring Minnie Driver, Jeffrey Donovan, Natacha Karam and more, will air for three consecutive Sundays (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) beginning Sunday, March 22, continuing on Sunday, March 29 and concluding on Easter Sunday, April 5.

Then, Rob Lowe returns as host of The Floor with a special two-hour season five premiere Wednesday, April 8 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), where contestants compete in dynamic head-to-head battles of trivia and strategy. Brains and the big yellow balls are back starting Monday, April 13 with host Joel McHale testing the nation's wits on The 1% Club (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), followed by the high-stakes, sink-or-swim quiz show The Quiz with Balls (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) hosted by Jay Pharoah.

The iconic culinary series MasterChef takes the competition worldwide as it returns for Season 16 Wednesday, April 15 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), celebrating international cuisine with award-winning chef and executive producer Gordon Ramsay as host and judge, alongside renowned restaurateur Joe Bastianich and acclaimed chef and entrepreneur Tiffany Derry. Then, The Floor will make its time period premiere that evening (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). An all-new season of celebrity action-adventure series Running Wild with Bear Grylls will make its Fox debut Tuesday, April 21 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), following the season four premiere of Farmer Wants a Wife (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), hosted by Kimberly Williams-Paisley, three new salt-of-the-earth farmers search for their match in the countryside.

HBO's Rooster Premieres in March; Fox's Updated Winter 2026 Schedule

The HBO Original comedy series Rooster will debut March 2026 on HBO and will be available to stream on HBO Max. The 10-episode season, from Warner Bros. Television, hails from co-showrunners and executive producers Bill Lawrence and Matt Tarses and stars Steve Carell, who also serves as executive producer. A comedy set on a college campus centering on an author’s (Carell) complicated relationship with his daughter (Charly Clive).

The series stars Steve Carell, Charly Clive, Danielle Deadwyler, Phil Dunster, John C. McGinley, and Lauren Tsai. Rooster, from co-showrunners Bill Lawrence and Matt Tarses, is executive produced by Bill Lawrence, Jeff Ingold and Liza Katzer for Doozer, Matt Tarses, Jonathan Krisel, Barbie Adler, Annie Mebane, David Stassen, Anthony King, and Steve Carell.

FOX announced updates to its Winter 2026 premiere dates, including special advance premieres of new series Best Medicine and returning comedy Animal Control, following respective FOX NFL doubleheaders, as well as a two-night premiere event for new drama series Memory of a Killer, starring Patrick Dempsey and Michael Imperiloi, beginning immediately after the NFC Championship Game.

Animal Control, starring Joel McHale, will have a special advance Season Four premiere on Sunday, December 28 (8:00-8:30 PM ET / Live to All Time Zones) immediately following the FOX NFL doubleheader. An all-new episode of The Simpsons will air at a special time (8:30-9:00 PM ET / Live to All Time Zones), followed by all-new episodes of Krapopolis (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) and Bob's Burgers (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT). Following a new episode of Hell's Kitchen (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), live-action comedies return starting Thursday, January 15 with an all-new time period premiere episode of Animal Control (9:00-9:30PM ET/PT) and the Season Two premiere of Going Dutch, starring Denis Leary (9:30-10:00PM ET/PT).

New series Best Medicine, starring Josh Charles, Abigail Spencer, Josh Segarra and Annie Potts will have a special advance series premiere on Sunday, January 4 (8:00-9:00 PM ET / Live to All Time Zones) immediately following the FOX NFL doubleheader. An all-new episode of Krapopolis will air following (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) with an all-new episode of The Simpsons airing at a special time (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT). Best Medicine will have its time period premiere beginning Tuesday, January 6 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) with the series premiere episode, followed by the winter premiere of hit medical drama Doc (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), starring Molly Parker and Felicity Huffman and featuring the return of fan favorite Scott Wolf.

New psychological thriller Memory of a Killer, featuring Patrick Dempsey's return to broadcast television alongside Emmy Award-winner Michael Imperioli and Gina Torres (9-1-1: Lone Star) will launch with a special two-night premiere event beginning Sunday, January 25 (10:00-11:10 PM ET / Live to All Time Zones) immediately following the NFC Championship Game (6:00-10:00 PM ET / Live to All Time Zones). The two-night event continues the next evening, Monday, January 26, when Memory of a Killer will have its time-period premiere (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) with an all-new episode, preceded by the Season Two premiere of extreme survival series Extracted (8:00-9:00PM ET/PT). NBC Fall 2025 Premiere Dates; Fox Fall 2025 Premiere Dates

NBC will begin the 2025-26 season the week of Sept. 22 with a robust programming lineup that will feature the latest iteration of the iconic musical competition series The Voice, the return of the compelling Zachary Quinto drama series Brilliant Minds, the venerable Law & Order franchise and the finale of summer's #1 show, America's Got Talent. The Sept. 22 season premiere of The Voice will feature the all-star coaching panel of Michael Bublé, Reba McEntire, Niall Horan and Snoop Dogg. A new champion will be crowned on America's Got Talent on Wednesday, Sept. 24 while an all-Law & Order lineup returns the next day, Thursday, Sept. 25.

On Wednesday, Oct. 1, fan-favorite #OneChicago is back with all-new tales from the Windy City and its incredible first responders. That same week marks the launch of the highly anticipated new unscripted series On Brand with Jimmy Fallon, which will make its debut with a twice-weekly cadence on Tuesdays and Fridays. Coming off its historic 50th season, Saturday Night Live begins its newest season on Oct. 4. NBC's hit comedies St. Denis Hospital and Happy's Place will both start their sophomore campaigns the week of Nov. 3 with back-to-back airings of St. Denis Medical on Mondays and Happy's Place on Fridays.

NBC will officially kick-off fall on Thursday, Sept. 4 with the launch of the new season of Sunday Night Football - the #1 primetime program for the last 14 years - when the Dallas Cowboys travel to play the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles. The first Sunday night telecast will air later that weekend when the Baltimore Ravens head to upstate New York to visit the Buffalo Bills. Also on the sports calendar, the highly anticipated return of the NBA to NBC begins Tuesday, Oct. 21, starting with the hourlong pregame show at 6:30 p.m. The teams playing in the 7:30 and 10 p.m. premiere Tip Off doubleheader will be announced shortly.

As previously announced, NBC will begin the holiday season on Nov. 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT with a two-hour Wicked special that will feature musical performances from stars Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande and other surprises guests. The specials will serve as a celebration to the Universal film Wicked: For Good, which will open in theaters on Nov. 21. The returning drama The Hunting Party and newly ordered comedy series The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins and Stumble will be added to the 2025-26 schedule at a later date.

FOX sets the stage for the 2025-26 season, announcing premiere dates for a dynamic fall lineup of new and returning scripted, unscripted and animated series. The fall season kicks off with the fan-favorite musical guessing game Celebrity Name That Tune, hosted by Tony Award winner and Emmy Award nominee Jane Krakowski with Grammy Award-winning producer Randy Jackson serving as band leader, returning for another season starting Monday, Sept. 15 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), followed by the series premiere of cutthroat game show Celebrity Weakest Link, hosted by Emmy Award winner Jane Lynch (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).

The following week, the second season of the gripping medical drama Doc premieres Tuesday, Sept. 23 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) preceded by the season premiere of Murder in a Small Town (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT). Television's #1 game show The Floor, hosted by Rob Lowe, begins its fourth season on Wednesday, Sept. 24 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), followed by the series premiere of new competition series 99 to Beat (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), hosted by Ken Jeong and Erin Andrews. On Thursday, Sept. 25, Hell's Kitchen (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) makes its Season 24 premiere, followed by the Season Four premiere of Special Forces: World's Toughest Test (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).

The full iconic "FOX Animation Domination" block premieres Sunday, Sept. 28, with all-new seasons of The Simpsons (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT), Universal Basic Guys (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT), Krapopolis (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) and Bob's Burgers (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT). Fox Summer 2025 Schedule; Final Guest Hosts for Saturday Night Live 50th Anniversary Season

Walton Goggins will host SNL for the first time on May 10. Goggins stars in the third season of The White Lotus and the final season of The Righteous Gemstones, both streaming on Max. Arcade Fire will take the stage as musical guest for the sixth time. The Grammy Award-winning band will release their new album, "Pink Elephant," on May 9.

Scarlett Johansson will host the May 17 season finale, returning to host SNL for the seventh time. The Oscar-nominated actress stars in the new Universal Pictures film Jurassic World Rebirth, in theaters July 2. Bad Bunny will make his third appearance as musical guest. The 3-time Grammy-winning artist's latest album, "DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS," spent three consecutive weeks at #1 on the Billboard 200 and has been #1 on the Top Latin Albums chart for 15 straight weeks.

Fox Renews Animated Hits for 4 Additional Seasons and American Dad! Returns; South Park Season 27 Premieres July 9

Fox Entertainment has ordered unprecedented, early four-season renewals for 20th Television Animation's hit series The Simpsons, Family Guy and Bob's Burgers, and announced the return of American Dad! to the network. The three fan-favorite series -- all produced by 20th Television Animation, a part of Disney Television Studios -- have each received four additional seasons, continuing their impressive runs on Fox through the 2028-29 broadcast cycle. The renewals encompass the 16th through 19th Seasons of Bob's Burgers, the 24th through 27th Seasons of Family Guy and the record-setting 37th through 40th Seasons of The Simpsons, extending its standing as the longest-running scripted primetime series in television history.

American Dad!, created by Seth MacFarlane, Mike Barker and Matt Weitzman, debuted on Fox in 2005 and was a part of the network's animation lineup through 2014. The animated comedy will return to the network for Seasons 20 through 23. Disney+ and Hulu remain the exclusive global streaming home of these four iconic animated series, boasting a collective library of all 2,000 episodes. Last year, both Family Guy and Bob's Burgers were ranked as two of the Top 10 most streamed shows in the U.S., according to Nielsen, with 42.44 billion and 36.79 billion minutes viewed, respectively. Fox is home to the longest running primetime animation block in television history, featuring the reigning first families of animation, the Simpsons, the Griffins and the Belchers, as well as the return of the Smith family in American Dad!

Speaking of long-running animated comedies, Comedy Central announced that the 27th season of the renowned series, South Park, will premiere Wednesday, July 9. The hit animated franchise South Park, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2022, debuted on Comedy Central August 13, 1997. Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny were first seen in the animated short "The Spirit of Christmas," and from there were launched into television history. Co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are executive producers, along with Anne Garefino and Frank C. Agnone II. Eric Stough, Adrien Beard, Bruce Howell and Vernon Chatman are producers.

Fox Fall 2024 Premiere Dates; Apple TV+ Renews Loot for Season 3

Fox is set to deliver a 2024-2025 television season filled with all-new original entertainment, and announces premiere dates for its fall 2024 schedule, including new and returning scripted, unscripted and animation series. The fall season kicks off with the series premiere of all-new animated comedy Universal Basic Guys on Sunday, Sept. 8, immediately following the FOX NFL doubleheader (8:00-8:30PM ET/5:00-5:30PM PT, live to all time zones). New pulse-pounding Hawaii-set lifeguard drama Rescue: HI-Surf, from prolific, award-winning executive producer/director John Wells (Shameless, The West Wing, ER) and executive producer/writer Matt Kester (Animal Kingdom, Outsiders), will make its series debut with a special premiere on Sunday, Sept. 22, immediately following the FOX NFL doubleheader (8:00-9:00PM ET/5:00-6:00PM PT, live to all time zones).

Firefighter drama 9-1-1: Lone Star begins its fifth season on Monday, Sept. 23 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), followed by the time-period premiere of Rescue: HI-Surf (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). All new murder mystery series Murder in a Small Town will have a special 90-minute series premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 24 (8:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) starring Rossif Sutherland (Reign, The Handmaid's Tale) and Kristin Kreuk (Smallville, Beauty and the Beast). Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 1, Murder in a Small Town moves to its regular time period (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), following the season two premiere of crime anthology series Accused (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT). The Masked Singer unmasks its twelfth season beginning Wednesday, Sept. 25 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), followed by the Season Two premiere of The Floor, hosted by Rob Lowe (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).

On Thursday, Sept. 26, Hell's Kitchen (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) makes its Season 23 premiere, followed by the Season Three premiere of Crime Scene Kitchen, hosted by Joel McHale (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). The full iconic "FOX Animation Domination" block premieres Sunday, Sept. 29, with all-new seasons of The Simpsons (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT), the time-period premiere of Universal Basic Guys (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT), Bob's Burgers (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) and Krapopolis (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT). Additional series to premiere in the 2024-2025 season include Dramas: Alert: Missing Persons Unit, The Cleaning Lady, and Doc; Comedies: Animal Control, Family Guy, Going Dutch, The Great North and Grimsburg; Unscripted: Extracted, LEGO Masters, LEGO Masters: Celebrity Holiday Bricktacular, Next Level Chef, The Real Full Monty and Special Forces: World's Toughest Test.

Molly Wells is jetting off to a third season! Following its widely celebrated and hilarious second season, Apple TV+ announced that Loot has been renewed for season three. The critically acclaimed, global hit comedy led by five-time Emmy Award-winning star and executive producer Maya Rudolph, alongside an all-star comedy ensemble cast that includes Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Nat Faxon, Ron Funches and Joel Kim Booster, the series has been hailed as "a quirky comedy with a lot of heart," "fierce" and "fabulous" in addition to being praised for its "laugh-out-loud shenanigans." Viewers were left on the edge of their seats following the season two finale that saw Molly Wells (Rudolph) and her trusted and unhinged assistant Nicholas (Booster) board Molly's private jet following her awkward exchange with her will-they, won't-they colleague Arthur (Faxon). Where will the PJ land? Luckily, season three will continue to follow the antics of the beloved group of misfits at The Wells Foundation.

Fox Summer 2024 Schedule, In-Season Finales; CBS Renews Tracker for Season 2

(9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) hosted by recent Emmy Award winner Niecy Nash. On Wednesday, May 22, following the 11th season finale of The Masked Singer (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), culinary titan Gordan Ramsay welcomes famed hospitality industry leader and TV personality Lisa Vanderpump in the all-new season of the hit competition series Gordon Ramsay's Food Stars, (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). Hosted and executive-produced by award-winning actor, singer and comedian Jamie Foxx, who is joined by his daughter, producer and activist Corinne Foxx as co-host and deejay, Beat Shazam returns with an all-new season on Tuesday, May 28 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT). Following Beat Shazam is new game The Quiz with Balls (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) pitting brains against balls, while combining a high-stakes quiz show with a large-scale physical competition. Hosted by actor and comedian Jay Pharoah (SNL, The Blackening) each episode of The Quiz with Balls features two families competing for $100,000 in a "battle of the balls."

MasterChef: Generations enters its 14th season with an all-new theme beginning Wednesday, May 29 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT). Gordon Ramsay, acclaimed chef Aarón Sánchez and renowned restaurateur Joe Bastianich return for the ultimate cook-off, as the top home cooks from four different generations, inclusive of Gen Z, Millenials, Gen X and Baby Boomers, battle it out. Beginning Monday, June 3, all-new episodes of Name That Tune (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), hosted by Jane Krakowski and band leader Randy Jackson continue to test the musical knowledge of contestants playing for a chance to win over $100,000. CBS announced the first-year series Tracker, starring Justin Hartley, has been renewed for the 2024-2025 season. The series premiere, which debuted on Feb. 11 following the Super Bowl, has now been seen by 30 million multiplatform viewers and is Paramount+'s #1 show in February. The series stars Justin Hartley as Colter Shaw, a lone-wolf survivalist who roams the country as a reward seeker, using his expert tracking skills to help private citizens and law enforcement solve all manner of mysteries while contending with his own fractured family. The series is based on the bestselling novel The Never Game by Jeffery Deaver.

Starting on Monday, Jan. 22, TMZ Investigates (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) and America's Most Wanted (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) return to Fox. Gordon Ramsay's Next Level Chef returns for season three with a special preview on Sunday, Jan. 28 (10:00-11:10 PM ET/7:00-8:10 PM PT) immediately following the NFC Championship Game on Fox. The series will have its time period premiere Thursday, Feb. 1 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT). Season two of Farmer Wants a Wife returns Thursday, Feb. 1 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). Beginning Tuesday, Mar. 5, thrilling crime dramas The Cleaning Lady (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) and Alert: Missing Persons Unit (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) launch new seasons. We were on hand this month for The John Ritter Foundation: An Evening From the Heart - NYC that started seven years ago with the Petrera-Cohen family honoring the memory of their daughter, Olivia (Livie), who passed away before her second birthday from complications of a genetic aortic disorder. This year, the event commemorated The John Ritter Foundation's 20-years of impact and John's life-saving legacy, while honoring the memory of Livie. In addition, The JRF shared the story of esteemed sportswriter and LGBTQ+ rights activist Grant Wahl. Wahl shockingly passed away last winter after he collapsed from a thoracic aortic dissection while reporting on the World Cup in Qatar. The event also included the presentation of The JRF's Founders Award to Dr. John Elefteriades with the Yale School of Medicine for his decades of work improving the care of patients with aortic disease. Dr. Elefteriades is an internationally recognized cardiovascular surgeon and has served on The JRF's Professional Advisory Board since its establishment. There was also a Silent Auction with many different pieces from all sorts of genres -- sports, travel and entertainment. Among the celebrities/notable people on hand were Amy Yasbeck and Tony Shalhoub.

In 2003 the world lost John Ritter to a tragically misdiagnosed thoracic aortic dissection. Although preventable, thousands of people die every year due to the lack of awareness of this critical medical emergency. To shine a much-needed light on thoracic aortic disease, John's widow, Amy Yasbeck, established The John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health. Twenty years of honoring John's legacy with genetic research, widespread education, and radical advocacy.

Of course John Ritter needs no introduction, but John Ritter's career spanned decades, most notably; his starring roles in the classic TV sitcom Three's Company, 8 Simples Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter, Clifford The Big Red Dog, and Stephen King's 1990 mini-series IT. His feature films include Sling Blade, Skin Deep, Stay Tuned, Bad Santa, and Problem Child 1 and 2. John received many awards throughout his esteemed career including a Primetime Emmy, The Golden Globe, and The People's Choice Award.

NBC Holiday Specials; Fox Holiday Specials

NBC is bringing families together to celebrate the holiday season with its beloved specials and additional new programming. TBS Back to School Marathons; HBO Renews The Righteous Gemstones for Season 4

In some parts of the country, it is actually almost back to school time in a few weeks (weird, right?). TBS will showcase three sitcom marathons. On Saturday, August 12, Bob's Burgers Back to School Marathon on TBS airs from 8:00pm to 10:30pm ET/PT. Then the next day on Sunday, August 13, it is a Friends Back to School Marathon on TBS from 12:00pm to 6:00pm ET/PT and then The Big Bang Theory Back to School Marathon on TBS from 6:00pm to 10:00pm ET/PT.

HBO has renewed the critically acclaimed original comedy series The Righteous Gemstones for a fourth season. Created by Danny McBride, the series concludes its nine-episode third season July 30. The first three seasons are available to stream on Max. The Righteous Gemstones tells the story of a world-famous televangelist family with a long tradition of deviance, greed, and charitable work. The Louds are trekking all over the U.S. this summer in Nickelodeon's The Loud House in a two-hour special event, "Road Trip," consisting of four action-packed episodes, premiering Friday, July 14 at 7:00 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon. Join the boisterous bunch as they take a cross country road trip visiting the Niagara Falls, the White House, the Rocky Mountains, Hollywood and even The Casagrandes' hometown, Great Lakes City. The all-new "Road Trip" episodes follow the Loud family as they go on a cross country expedition when Rita (Mom Loud) is assigned to write a travel article. The iconic "Fox Animation Domination" block premieres Sunday, Oct. 1, with all-new seasons of The Simpsons (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT), Krapopolis (time-period premiere 8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT), Bob's Burgers (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) and Family Guy (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT).

Set in mythical ancient Greece, Krapopolis tells the story of a dysfunctional family of humans, gods and monsters trying to run one of the world's first cities, while also trying their best to not kill each other in the process. The series features the voices of Emmy Award-winner Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso, Game of Thrones), Richard Ayoade (The IT Crowd), Matt Berry (What We Do in The Shadows), Pam Murphy (Mapleworth Murders) and Duncan Trussell (The Midnight Gospel). The series has already been given three seasons before it even premieres.

The series centers on a flawed family of humans, gods, and monsters attempting to guide humanity out of the savage wilderness and into a new lifestyle experiment they're calling "civilization." In the series, Ayoade voices "Tyrannis," the mortal son of a goddess. He's the self-involved, narcissistic King of Krapopolis trying to make do in a city that lives up to its name. Waddingham plays "Deliria," Tyrannis' mother, goddess of self-destruction and questionable choices. Deliria is as petty as she is powerful, and only seems interested in defending civilization if it means she'll get more worshipers out of it than her frenemies up on Mt. Olympus. Berry is "Shlub," Tyrannis' father, a mantitaur (half centaur [horse + human], half manticore [lion + human + scorpion]). He's the self-described life of the orgy. A true pleasure seeker who thinks that everyone should just chill out and, if they need him for anything, he'll be down at the bar. Murphy voices "Stupendous," Tyrannis' half-sister, daughter of Deliria and a cyclops. Trussell plays "Hippocampus," Tyrannis' half-brother, offspring of Shlub and a mermaid, and, obviously, a hot mess, biologically speaking.

Season two of the Max Original comedy series Rap Sh!t debuts with two episodes Thursday, August 10. The eight-episode season will continue with one episode weekly, leading up to the season finale on Thursday, September 21. Season 2 logline: Rap Sh!t follows two estranged high school friends from Miami, Shawna and Mia, who reunite to form a rap group. In their rise to fame, Shawna and Mia find themselves at a pivotal moment in their rap career as they are forced to decide if they will stay true to themselves or conform to the demands of the music industry. Season 2 cast: Aida Osman (Shawna), KaMillion (Mia), Jonica Booth (Chastity), RJ Cyler (Lamont), and Daniel Augustin (Maurice).

Fox Summer 2023 Schedule; Apple TV+ Announces Michael J. Fox Movie

Joel McHale returns to the scene of the tasty crime, as baking competition series Crime Scene Kitchen launches with a special two-hour premiere on Monday, May 22 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). The all-new season then makes its time period premiere the following week on Monday, May 29 (9:00-10:00 ET/PT). Hosted and executive-produced by award-winning actor, singer and comedian Jamie Foxx, who is joined by his daughter, producer and activist Corinne Foxx as co-host and deejay, Beat Shazam returns with an all-new season on Tuesday, May 23 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT). The music continues on Tuesdays as Emmy Award nominee Niecy Nash hosts a brand-new season of the popular game show Don't Forget The Lyrics! (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), following Beat Shazam (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on Tuesday, May 23. The game show challenges contestants' musical memory, as they get one song closer to winning $1 million if they Don't Forget The Lyrics!. Contestants will choose songs from different genres, decades and musical artists.

As previously announced, MasterChef: United Tastes of America enters its 13th season with an all-new theme Wednesday, May 24 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT). Culinary titan Gordon Ramsay sets aside his razor-sharp knives for the cutthroat business world in the all-new competition series Gordon Ramsay's Food Stars, putting food and drink industry entrepreneurs through a multitude of challenges designed to showcase their business skills, test their drive and convince Ramsay they have what it takes to earn his personal investment of $250,000. As previously announced, the series premieres Wednesday, May 24 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) following the Season 13 premiere of MasterChef (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT).

Apple Original Films unveiled the trailer for the highly anticipated film, STILL: A Michael J. Fox Movie starring Michael J. Fox (Family Ties, Spin City, Back to the Future) and Tracy Pollan, directed by Academy Award winner, Davis Guggenheim. The film, which incorporates documentary, archival and scripted elements, recounts Fox's extraordinary story in his own words - the improbable tale of an undersized kid from a Canadian army base who rose to the heights of stardom in 1980s Hollywood. The account of Fox's public life, full of nostalgic thrills and cinematic gloss, unspools alongside his never-before-seen private journey, including the years that followed his diagnosis, at 29, with Parkinson's disease. Intimate and honest, and produced with unprecedented access to Fox and his family, the film chronicles Fox's personal and professional triumphs and travails, and explores what happens when an incurable optimist confronts an incurable disease. With a mix of adventure and romance, comedy and drama, watching the film feels like ... well, like a Michael J. Fox movie.

NBC Celebrates Carol Burnett's 90th Birthday in April; Fox Renews The Simpsons, Family Guy and Bob's Burgers for 2 Seasons Each; Remembering Yoshio Yoda of McHale's Navy and Carole Cook of The Lucy Show

Paying tribute to a beloved national icon for her birthday, NBC will celebrate Carol Burnett's illustrious career with Carol Burnett: 90 Years of Laughter + Love. The two-hour special will air Wednesday, April 26 at 8 p.m. ET/PT and will also stream next day on Peacock. The special will be filmed at Avalon Hollywood in Los Angeles. The star-studded event will feature an A-list lineup of musical performances and special guests who will come together to share their love for one of the most cherished comediennes in television history.

The evening will include musical performances from Bernadette Peters, Billy Porter, Jane Lynch, Katy Perry, Kristin Chenoweth and more. The musical tributes will pay homage to Carol's renowned career performances, including: "Old Friends," dedicated to Carol's 60-year friendship with Julie Andrews; "Only an Octave Apart," which Carol sang alongside Beverly Sills in the 1976 television special "Sills and Burnett at the Met"; Carol's memorable songs from the hit film "Annie"; and a tribute to her classic theme song, "I'm So Glad We Had This Time Together" from The Carol Burnett Show. Special guests attending this once-in-a-lifetime party include Aileen Quinn, Amy Poehler, Bill Hader, Bob Mackie, Cher, Ellen DeGeneres, Julie Andrews, Kristen Wiig, Laura Dern, Lily Tomlin, Marisa Tomei, Sofia Vergara, Steve Carell, Susan Lucci, Tracee Ellis Ross, Vicki Lawrence, and many more. The special will share some of the funniest and most memorable moments of Burnett's legendary career. From her Broadway debut in Once Upon a Mattress, her early appearances on The Garry Moore Show, her hit films The Four Seasons, A Wedding, Pete 'n' Tillie, her iconic role as Miss Hannigan in Annie, to her acclaimed sketch comedy series The Carol Burnett Show, which ran for 11 seasons on CBS and played an instrumental role in the evolution of comedy. Burnett's variety show co-star Vicki Lawrence will be in attendance, along with costume designer Bob Mackie. The Carol Burnett Show continues to make people laugh more than 40 years later with its incredibly funny sketches, including, most notably, the hysterical Gone with the Wind satire.

Fox Entertainment has ordered early renewals for hit 20th Television Animation series The Simpsons, Family Guy and Bob's Burgers. The three FOX Animation Domination fan-favorite series -- all produced by Disney Television Studios' 20th Television Animation -- have each received two additional seasons, continuing their long-time runs on Fox through the 2024-25 broadcast cycle. The renewals guarantee Seasons 14 and 15 for Bob's Burgers, the 22nd and 23rd Seasons of Family Guy and the record-setting 35th and 36th Seasons for The Simpsons, extending its standing as the longest-running scripted series in television history.

Japanese-born American actor and businessman Yoshio Yoda, who starred as Fuji Kobiaji on McHale's Navy, has died. He died in Fullerton, California, on January 13. Mr. Yoda was 88.

Yoda starred as Fuji Kobiaji on the 1962-1966 ABC sitcom McHale's Navy. Seaman 3rd Class Fujiwara "Fuji" Takeo Kobiaji is the lovable, boyish, Japanese prisoner of war and deserter from the Imperial Japanese Navy whom the PT-73 crew takes on as a de facto comrade and keeps hidden from Capt. Wallace (Wally) B. Binghamton (Joe Flynn) and almost everyone outside of McHale's gang.

The cast included Ernest Borgnine, Joe Flynn, Tim Conway, Bob Hastings, Carl Ballantine, Gary Vinson, Billy Sands, Edson Stroll, Jane Dulo (1962-1964), Gavin MacLeod (1962-1964), John Wright (1964-1966), Henry Beckman (1965-1966), Simon Scott (1965-1966), Dick Wilson (1965-1966), Jay Novello (1965-1966) and Peggy Mondo (1965-1966).

He starred as Sgt. Roy Tada in the 1962 film The Horizontal Liutenant. He played Fuji Kobiaji in the 1964 film McHale's Navy. He starred as Takeo "Fuji" Fugiwara in the 1965 film McHale's Navy Joins the Air Force.

His final acting credit was as Mr. Tenaka in the 1969 segment of Love, American Style titled "Love and the Letter." He was an associate producer for the 1970 film The Walking Major, which was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in 1971.

He was the assistant vice president of inventory and senior division manager for Toyota in Hawaii. From 2012 until his death, he lived in Fullerton, California.

Mr. Yoda was a fine comic performer on McHale's Navy. We thank him for the laughs and entertainment that he brought us on the series. He will be greatly missed.

Actress Carole Cook, who guest starred on The Lucy Show and Here's Lucy, has died. She died from heart failure in Beverly Hills, California, on January 11. Ms. Cook was 98.

Cook guest starred as Thelma Green in five episodes of The Lucy Show from 1963 to 1964. She played various characters in 13 other episodes from 1963 to 1968.

She played various characters in five episodes of Here's Lucy from 1969 to 1974. Some of her other sitcom guest appearances included The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis, The New Phil Silvers Show (2 episodes), My World and Welcome to It, That Girl, Maude, Chico and the Man, Laverne & Shirley, The Love Boat, A Family for Joe and Strip Mall.

Some of her other television guest appearances included U.S. Marshal (2 episodes), Kentucky Jones, Daniel Boone, Sarge, McMillan & Wife (4 episodes), Baretta, Ellery Queen, Emergency!, Bronk, Starsky & Hutch, Charlie's Angels (2 episodes), Kojak, Darkroom, Strike Force, Trapper John, M.D. (1982), Knight Rider, Hart to Hart, Quincy, M.E. (2 episodes), The A-Team, Magnum, P.I. (1986), Dynasty (4 episodes), Cagney & Lacey (5 episodes), Murder, She Wrote (2 episodes) and Grey's Anatomy.

She played Grandma Helen in Sixteen Candles (1984). Some of her other film credits included Palm Springs Weekend (1963), The Incredible Mr. Limpet (1964), American Gigolo (1980), Summer Lovers (1982) and Grandview, U.S.A. (1984).

Ms. Cook was a talented and funny actress. She was a long-time friend and protégée of Lucille Ball. We thank her for her work on television and in films. She will be deeply missed.

Disney Brings American Housewife and More to Syndication; The Bob's Burgers Movie Will Stream on Hulu and HBO Max

Disney Media Entertainment and Distribution has announced that three series are making their off-net broadcast syndication debut this Fall. Comedy series American Housewife and dramas 9-1-1 and The Rookie will air on your local stations (Housewife and 9-1-1 have already been airing on cable in reruns). American Housewife will air five days a week (and also weekend runs) beginning Monday, September 12, while weekend plays of 9-1-1 and The Rookie will begin the weekend of September 17-18.

All five seasons of American Housewife has been sold to stations from broadcast groups including the CBS Television Stations (such as NY's WLNY-TV), Sinclair Broadcast Group, Weigel Broadcasting, Nexstar Media Group, E.W. Scripps Company, Hubbard Broadcasting, Hearst Communications, Gray Television, Bahakel Communications, Tegna Media, Lockwood Broadcast Group, Mission Broadcasting, Cox Media Group, Allen Media, Standard Media Group, NPG Broadcasting and American Spirit Media. 20th Century Studios' The Bob's Burgers Movie will debut July 12 on both Hulu and HBO Max. The Bob's Burgers Movie is an animated, big-screen, musical comedy-mystery-adventure based on the long-running Emmy®-winning series. The story begins when a ruptured water main creates an enormous sinkhole right in front of Bob's Burgers, blocking the entrance indefinitely and ruining the Belchers' plans for a successful summer. While Bob and Linda struggle to keep the business afloat, the kids try to solve a mystery that could save their family's restaurant. As the dangers mount, these underdogs help each other find hope and fight to get back behind the counter, where they belong. The Bob's Burgers Movie showcases voice talent which includes Kristen Schaal, H. Jon Benjamin, John Roberts, Dan Mintz, Eugene Mirman, Larry Murphy, Zach Galifianakis and Kevin Kline. The Max Original comedy series, Gordita Chronicles, from Sony Pictures Television, will debut with all ten episodes on Thursday, June 23 on HBO Max. The year is 1985 and Cucu "Gordita" Castelli (Olivia Goncalves) has just said goodbye to all of her friends and family in Santo Domingo and moved to Miami with her marketing executive father Víctor (Juan Javier Cardenas), bold and vivacious mother Adela (Diana Maria Riva), and status-obsessed older sister Emilia (Savannah Nicole Ruiz). While life in America is far from what they imagined, the Castellis are determined to take charge of their strange new world. A uniquely funny coming-of-age series, Gordita Chronicles is about family, opportunity, love, resilience, and boldly defying the status quo in pursuit of the "American Dream." Claudia Forestieri wrote the pilot and serves as executive producer.

Apple TV+ Season 2 Premiere Date for Physical; Fox Summer 2022 Schedule and May Finale Dates

Apple TV+ released a first-look at the sophomore season of Physical, the acclaimed dark comedy starring and executive produced by Rose Byrne. From creator, writer and executive producer Annie Weisman, the highly anticipated 10-episode second season will premiere globally on Apple TV+ on Friday, June 3 with the first episode, followed by one new episode weekly, every Friday. Season two finds our hero Sheila Rubin (Byrne) having successfully launched her first fitness video only to encounter some new and bigger obstacles on her path. She is torn between loyalty to her husband (Scovel) and the values he represents, and a dangerous attraction to someone else. And since she’s no longer the only game in town, she finds herself having to outrun some fierce new competitors on the road to building a full-fledged fitness empire.

In addition to Byrne, Physical stars Rory Scovel, Dierdre Friel, Della Saba, Lou Taylor Pucci and Paul Sparks. Joining the all-star ensemble cast for season two is Critics Choice Award-winner Murray Bartlett (The White Lotus) in the new role of "Vincent 'Vinnie' Green," a charismatic fitness instructor, weight-loss guru, and pioneer of the late-night infomercial. Physical is produced by Tomorrow Studios (an ITV Studios partnership). (Monday, May 23 at 8pm), Beat Shazam (Monday, May 23 at 9pm), MasterChef (Wednesday, May 25 at 8pm), Lego Masters (Tuesday, May 31 at 8pm) and Fantasy Island (Tuesday, May 31 at 9pm). Additionally, animated comedy Duncanville returns with all-new episodes, beginning Sunday, May 1 at 7:30pm. Duncanville will move to 9pm beginning in June. Additional schedule details to be announced.

Fox also announced season finale dates for May/June.
