Disney Channel has ordered a third season of K.C. Undercover, the hit spy comedy/action series starring Zendaya. The actress and recording artist, whose longtime Disney Channel fans helped parlay her to superstardom, will resume production on the TV series in early 2017 after wrapping production on two feature films, The Greatest Showman and Marvel's Spider-Man: Homecoming. The multi-camera series also stars Kadeem Hardison, Tammy Townsend, Kamil McFadden, Trinitee Stokes and Veronica Dunne. Zendaya is also a producer on the series. Currently airing its second season, K.C. Undercover continues to resonate with kids and families across Disney Channel's multiple platforms, reaching 106 million Total Viewers across the U.S., including close to 30 million Kids 2-14 and over 41 million Adults 18-49. On digital platforms, the Emmy-nominated series has generated over 25 million consumer engagements via STB/VOD and 12 million starts on the Disney Channel App, year to date.
The live-action family comedy follows K.C. Cooper, a high school math whiz and martial arts expert turned international super spy for the secret government agency, The Organization. When she's not trying to navigate the ups and downs of teenage life with her best friend Marisa, K.C., along with her parents, seasoned agents Craig and Kira, and her younger siblings Ernie and Judy (a humanoid robot), perform undercover missions, near and far, to save the world all while balancing everyday family situations. New episodes of K.C. Undercover premiere on Disney Channel on Sundays at 8:00 p.m. ET and on Disney Channel's multiple platforms including the Disney Channel app and Disney Channel VOD.
