Below is the cast for the new NBC comedy Young Rock, which focuses on different chapters of Dwayne Johnson's life. From growing up in a strong and resilient family, to being surrounded by the wild characters of his professional wrestling family, to playing football at the University of Miami, the show will explore the crazy rollercoaster that has shaped Dwayne into the man he is today and the larger-than-life characters he's met along the way. The series will premiere in 2021.

· Adrian Groulx as Dwayne Johnson (AKA Dewey), Age 10 - Honest, headstrong, impressionable and bold.
· Bradley Constant as Dwayne Johnson, Age 15 - Doing his best to fit in as a normal teenager but puberty has other ideas. His size and full mustache have his classmates convinced he's an undercover cop.
· Uli Latukefu as Dwayne Johnson, Age 18-20 - Has just been recruited to play football on a full scholarship at powerhouse University of Miami. Though a super-star talent, a devastating injury his freshman year puts his life at a crossroads.
· Stacey Leilua as Ata Johnson, Dwayne's mother - Grew up in a first generation pro wrestling family. A strong woman, both by nature and necessity, she's a hopeful positive force in young Dwayne's life.
· Joseph Lee Anderson as Rocky Johnson, Dwayne's father - Charismatic and charming, the pro wrestling champion juggles the ups and downs of his career with being a well-intentioned, but unorthodox, husband and father.
· Ana Tuisila as Lia Maivia, Ata's mother and Dwayne's grandmother. The first female pro-wrestling promoter in the country. A sweet loving grandmother and when need be, a cutthroat, ruthless businesswoman.

The series will be executive produced by Nahnatchka Khan, Dwayne Johnson, Jeff Chiang, Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia, Brian Gewirtz and Jennifer Carreras. Jeffrey Walker serves as producer director / co-EP. The pilot was co-written by Khan and Chiang. Johnson will appear in each episode as the focus and inspiration of the series will be about his formative years. Universal Television, Seven Bucks Productions and Fierce Baby Productions will produce. Johnson and Garcia's Seven Bucks Productions is a global entertainment force with film revenues exceeding $10 billion worldwide. Johnson recently starred in Jumanji: The Next Level, which has grossed nearly $800 million worldwide, and will next star in Disney's Jungle Cruise.

Writer/director/showrunner Khan's Fierce Baby Productions is a film and TV production company focused on amplifying new voices and perspectives in both comedy and drama. Khan is the creator and executive producer of the groundbreaking ABC television series Fresh Off the Boat, which recently ended its six-year run, and previously Don't Trust the B---- In Apartment 23, which ran for two seasons on ABC.

OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network announced its first ever digital animated short-form comedy series Sincerely, Camille from creator Munirah Safiyah Jones (Junt Land). A key component to the network's OWN YOUR VOTE nonpartisan get-out-the-vote initiative, the six-part original series offers a humorous, irreverent, and informative take on politics and the issues impacting Black women in the lead-up to the 2020 November election. The first two episodes launched Tuesday, September 29, on Twitter and is also available across OWN's digital platforms and the network's Watch OWN App as of yesterday, Wednesday, September 30. Subsequent episodes, each approximately five minutes in length, will roll out twice weekly.

Sincerely, Camille follows a trio of women - Camille, Staci, and Sara - navigating life, work and relationships in the throes of the 2020 presidential election cycle. Three friends, three different viewpoints, three varying approaches to evoking civic participation. The series follows the women's efforts to get their communities informed, engaged, and inspired to act in one of the most important elections in American history. The satirical series provides powerful insight and edgy social commentary on the current political climate and the choices Black women face this fall.

As of December 2, OWN has taken us back to another time with the network premiere of 227. The classic sitcom, starring Marla Gibbs, Jackée Harry and more - airs every weekend this winter, so get cozy and ready to binge on iconic performances and unforgettable laughs. OWN will also air a Christmas Day marathon of 227 from 2pm-3am (and the regular Sunday marathon before that, so it's a Christmas Eve and Christmas Day marathon, technically). 227 generally airs Saturdays 1pm-8pm and Sundays 2pm-3am. Ted Danson is an award-winning film and television actor. He has received numerous industry accolades, including three Golden Globe Awards and two Emmy Awards. In addition to his work on screen, Danson is also a passionate environmental activist. He founded the American Oceans Campaign in 1987, which merged with Oceana in 2001, where he currently serves as a board member. He published his first book "Oceana: Our Endangered Oceans and What We Can Do to Save Them" in 2011. Currently, he can be seen on the small screen in both The Good Place and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

ABC's Dancing with the Stars sets its sights on the sports world when it returns with a special all-athletes edition in the spring of 2018. Ten athletes from all corners of the sports world will be teamed up with the show's professional dancers and compete on the ballroom floor for a chance to win the coveted Mirrorball trophy. Hosted by two-time Emmy(R)-winning host Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews, the special all-athletes edition of Dancing with the Stars will air live. The athletes will perform choreographed dance routines that are judged by a panel of renowned ballroom experts, as well as viewer votes. This special edition will premiere in late April 2018 and last for a month, according to Tom Bergeron. American Idol will likely be airing Sunday and Monday nights this Spring, so Dancing will only air four weeks in Spring. A "regular sized" 10 week season will return in Fall 2018. OWN's new Tyler Perry comedy The Paynes will have its series premiere on Tuesday, January 16 with two back-to-back episodes at 10:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. The Paynes, a spin-off of beloved Perry comedy House of Payne, follows Ella and Curtis Payne (Cassi Davis and LaVan Davis) through the ups and downs of retirement. The series also stars Emmy-winning actress Jackée Harry (227, Sister, Sister). Additionally, Perry's hit drama series The Haves and the Have Nots, starring Tika Sumpter and John Schneider, will return for a fifth season on Tuesday, January 9 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT and drama series If Loving You is Wrong will return with all-new episodes on a new day and time, Wednesday, January 10 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Continuing its successful partnership with prolific producer Tyler Perry, OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network announced a 38-episode order for a new comedy series from Perry, The Paynes, a spinoff of his popular series House of Payne. The network has also ordered 44 additional episodes of Perry's hit OWN drama series The Haves and the Have Nots and 18 episodes of If Loving You is Wrong. Written, directed and produced by Tyler Perry, The Paynes meets back up with Curtis and Ella Payne (stars LaVan Davis and Cassi Davis reprising their roles) who are trying to enjoy their retirement in Florida only to get roped into a real estate deal that will tumble their lives like clothes in a dryer. The series also stars Jackée Harry, Stephanie Charles, Markice Moore, JD McCrary and Sanai Victoria. The comedy has begun production at the new Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta and will premiere on OWN in 2018.

Additionally, the network announced the final seasons of Perry's popular comedy series Love Thy Neighbor and For Better or Worse, which will both move to Saturday nights. Love Thy Neighbor will premiere its fourth season on Saturday, March 4 with back-to-back episodes at 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. ET/PT. For Better or Worse will premiere its sixth season on Saturday, June 10 with back-to-back episodes at 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. ET/PT. Both series will air through 2017 with 22 and 20 episodes respectively.

The new comedic, dramatic and intimate OWN docu-series For Peete's Sake following the lives of husband and wife duo Holly Robinson Peete and Rodney Peete will join the network's popular Saturday night line up on Saturday, March 19 at 9 pm ET/PT. Holly Robinson Peete and Rodney Peete were two of the brightest stars in their fields in the 80's and 90's. Holly lit up the small screen from an early age with starring roles in 21 Jump Street and Hangin' With Mr. Cooper, and her husband and NFL quarterback Rodney Peete dominated the league for 16 years. Now the duo are giving viewers an intimate look at their hectic and often-times comical lives as they attempt to balance raising their four kids, running a charity (the HollyRod Foundation) and spending time with Holly's über-manager mother Dolores who is still wheeling and dealing even as she approaches 80 years young. In a household where constant activity and change are the norm, the series celebrates the chaotic, yet loving dynamic of life in this magnetic American family.

FX has renewed the new comedy Baskets starring Zach Galifianakis for a second season. Baskets, co-created by Galifianakis, Louis C.K. and Jonathan Krisel, delivered the most-watched basic cable primetime comedy series premiere since 2014. The second season of Baskets will debut in early 2017. In Baskets, Chip Baskets (Galifianakis) wants to follow his dream of being a French clown - however, reality keeps interfering. Saddled with financial difficulties and facing an impenetrable language barrier, he moves back home to Bakersfield with high hopes. There, he is forced to confront his past while working as a rodeo clown and competing with his siblings for his mother's (Louie Anderson) approval and affection. The series also stars Martha Kelly as Chip's insurance claims adjuster. Baskets returns with an all-new episode this Thursday, February 25 at 10 PM e/p on FX: "DJ Twins" - All the free bottled water in the world can't soften the sting of rejection during an evening with the family. OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network's and Tyler Perry's hit drama series The Haves and the Have Nots returns with all-new episodes on Tuesday, January 5 at 9pm ET/PT. Additionally, the popular Tyler Perry comedy series Love Thy Neighbor returns with new episodes on Friday, January 8 at 9pm ET/PT with two back-to-back episodes. The Haves and the Have Nots returns with Jim Cryer (John Schneider), his wife Katheryn (Renee Lawless) and their wealthy friends, David (Peter Parros) and Veronica Harrington (Angela Robinson), dealing with hard lessons they have sewed from past actions. Jim Cryer is rendered powerless for the first time in his life as the charges against him mount. Candace (Tika Sumpter) is haunted by a horrific crime that she and Jeffery (Gavin Houston) have committed and will stop at nothing to cover up the secret. Meanwhile, Hanna (Crystal Fox) continues to be a moral pillar for her family and co-workers.

Love Thy Neighbor kicks off as Danny (Andre Hall) returns from Las Vegas with a new wife and things become complicated when Linda refuses to accept her into the family. Still in love with Danny, Drew (Darmirra Brunson) is terribly jealous of Danny's new flame, and Sam (Jonathan Chase) is also not ready to lose his best friend. Meanwhile, Philip (Tony Grant), who would typically play the role of peacekeeper in the group, finds himself caught up dealing with Linda's mood swings (Kendra C. Johnson) as she faces her final days of pregnancy. Through it all, Hattie Mae (Patrice Lovely) and Floyd (Palmer Williams Jr.) attempt to keep things comedic with their ongoing jabs and feisty banter, but when Sam causes a major rift in his and Danny's friendship Sam is left questioning whether he may lose his best buddy forever.

Through its strategic partnership with Just for Laughs, The CW Network announced the brand new primetime comedy special Just For Laughs Starring Howie Mandel, featuring stand-up performances from comedians such as Jeff Ross, Pete Holmes, and Jim Breuer, which will premiere Monday, January 18 from 8:00-9:30 pm ET/PT on The CW. Additionally, hours of Just For Laughs content is now available on the network's digital studio, CW Seed (www.cwseed.com or The CW Seed App) including a new original digital series, The Elevator Talk Show with Pete Holmes, plus hours of classic stand-up from the past 15 years of the legendary Just For Laughs Festival. Recorded at the biggest comedy event in the world, the 2015 Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, and hosted by Howie Mandel, this primetime special also showcases performances from Fortune Feimster, Vladimir Caamaño, and Marina Franklin. Additionally, the special includes comedians remembering some of their favorite moments from the festival over the past 30 years, which have featured Joan Rivers, Jon Stewart, and Eddie Izzard.

Following the success of its critically acclaimed hit series Younger, TV Land is adding two new comedy series to its summer lineup – The Jim Gaffigan Show and Impastor – debuting on Wednesday, July 15 at 10pm and 10:30pm ET/PT respectively. Fan favorite The Exes will also be returning on July 15 at 11pm ET/PT. The trio will replace Hot in Cleveland, The Soul Man and Instant Mom on the schedule from 10-11:30pm. The Jim Gaffigan Show stars and is inspired by the real life of comedian, actor and New York Times best-selling author Jim Gaffigan, chronicling one man's struggle in New York City to find a balance between fatherhood, stand-up comedy and an insatiable appetite. Also starring in the series is Ashley Williams as Jim's off-beat Catholic wife, Jeannie; Adam Goldberg as Jim's aggressively single comedian friend, Dave; and Michael Ian Black as Daniel, Jeannie's gay ex-boyfriend and confidante, who is also Jim's biggest critic. Tongayi Chirisa co-stars, playing Jim and Jeannie's endearing priest, Father Nicholas. Throughout the season, there will also be special celebrity cameos by Chris Rock, Steve Buscemi, Rachel Maddow, Keith Olbermann, Lawrence O'Donnell, Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski, Dave Attell, Hannibal Buress, Macaulay Culkin, Janeane Garofalo among others. The show is a single-camera comedy executive produced by writing team Jim and Jeannie Gaffigan.

Impastor is a single-camera dark comedy from Christopher Vane (Wings) starring Michael Rosenbaum as Buddy Dobbs, a slacker on the run from his gambling debt. Just when he's about to end his misery and jump off a bridge, a reverend shows up and talks him down. When the reverend slips off the bridge and falls to his death, he leaves Buddy with the unlikely opportunity to steal the man's identity and pose as the new gay pastor of a small, tight-knight town, leaving his bartender ex-girlfriend Leanne (Aimee Garcia) to clean up the huge mess he left behind. Buddy begins to settle into his new life as a pastor with the help of his preppy new assistant Dora (Sara Rue), alluring church treasurer Alexa (Mircea Monroe) and enthusiastic secretary Russell (Mike Kosinski) – but the church president, Alden Schmidt (David Rasche) senses that something isn't quite right. Curing sex crazed teenagers, stealing kids' weed and reading Bible scripture may not be a bad gig for Buddy after all. Only time will tell how long he can keep up the façade. Impastor is executive produced by Vane and Rosenbaum, along with Eric and Kim Tannenbaum (Two and a Half Men) and Rob Greenberg (How I Met Your Mother).

This season on the multi-cam sitcom The Exes, everyone adjusts to Haskell's (Wayne Knight) new lifestyle now that he has money; Holly (Kristen Johnston) decides to only pursue men she's not interested in; Phil (Donald Faison) experiences the ups and downs of dating a movie star and Stuart (David Alan Basche) dabbles in the restaurant business. Plus, Nicki (Leah Remini) returns from an extravagant vacation with a surprising guest in tow. Kelly Stables also stars as Holly's scatter-brained but loveable assistant Eden. The Exes is executive produced by Mark Reisman (Frasier), along with Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis (Reba), and Franco Bario is co-executive producer.

OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network's hit drama The Haves and the Have Nots, starring John Schneider and Tika Sumpter, returns for its new summer season on Tuesday, June 30 at 9pm ET/PT. The popular comedy series Love Thy Neighbor from Tyler Perry, featuring ornery but loveable Mama Hattie (Patrice Lovely) and her Love Train Diner, returns Friday, June 26 at 9pm ET/PT with two back-to-back episodes. OWN's highest-rated series, The Haves and the Have Nots last season was primetime's #1 original cable series among African-American women and total viewers, regularly attracting more than three million viewers. Previously, Love Thy Neighbor averaged one million viewers and was the #1 original cable series in its time period for African American viewers.

On Mother's Day this Sunday (May 10), catch The Bionic Woman all day on Cozi TV from 1PM-5PM and 7PM-10PM ET. The classic sci-fi action show casts Emmy-winner Lindsay Wagner as Jaime Sommers, a woman who secretly takes on special high-risk government missions using her tremendous bionic powers. OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network announced today a comedic, dramatic and highly intimate docu-series, For Peete's Sake (working title), following the lives of husband and wife duo Holly Robinson Peete and Rodney Peete as they juggle complicated career choices with their bustling family life. The Peete's new series joins OWN's popular Saturday night lineup. OWN is Saturday night's #2 network on all of television for African-American women and year-to-date features the top three original series on television for African-American women (Welcome to Sweetie Pie's, Raising Whitley and 2 Fat 2 Fly). In 2014, OWN had the top five original series on ad-supported cable for African-American women (Welcome to Sweetie Pie's, Iyanla: Fix My Life, Deion's Family Playbook, Six Little McGhees and Raising Whitley). Millions of fans know Holly Robinson Peete as the actress who launched her long-running career starring on the groundbreaking TV series 21 Jump Street (and went on to star in Hangin' with Mr. Cooper), and Rodney Peete as the popular NFL quarterback and former co-host of Fox Sports' The Best Damn Sports Show Period. But their very public careers reveal just a glimpse of what life is like today for this Hollywood power couple, whose family includes four kids and Holly's wild-and-crazy mom, Dolores, who at 79 years young is anything but a typical grandma. Actress Suzanne Crough, best known for her role as Tracy Partridge in The Partridge Family, has died. She died on April 27 at her home in Laughlin, Nevada. No cause of death has been reported. Ms. Crough was 52.

Crough starred as the youngest sibling Tracy Partridge, who played the tambourine in the band, in The Partridge Family. The popular series starred Shirley Jones, David Cassidy, Susan Dey, Danny Bonaduce, Jeremy Gelbwaks (season 1), Brian Forster (seasons 2-4) and Dave Madden. It ran four seasons on ABC from 1970-1974. She voiced the Tracy character in eight episodes of the animated series Goober and the Ghost Chasers and all episodes of Partridge Family 2200 A.D., which aired on CBS from 1974-1975. She was interviewed in the 2003 Biography special on The Partridge Family. In 2010, she reunited with several co-stars on NBC's Today.

Her other starring role was as Stevie Freedman in the 1977 NBC comedy-drama Mulligan's Stew. The short-lived series starred Lawrence Pressman, Elinor Donahue, Johnny Doran, Julie Anne Haddock, K.C. Martel, Chris Ciampa, Sunshine Lee and Lory Kochheim.

Crough's other acting credits included the 1976 TV movie Dawn: Portrait of a Teenage Runaway (starring The Brady Bunch's Eve Plumb), Fred Flintstone and Friends (voice), Wonder Woman, Teenage Father (Academy Award-winning short film) and the 1980 TV movie Children of Divorce. After graduating from Los Angeles Pierce College, she owned and operated a bookstore until 1993. She later worked as a manager at Office Max.

Survivors include her husband, William Condray, and two daughters, Samantha and Alexandra.

ABC Family announced the network has green-lit a fifth season of its hit original comedy series Baby Daddy. The order came just as production has wrapped on the series' fourth season. Baby Daddy is currently airing all-new episodes Wednesday nights at 8:30PM, and the Season 4A finale will air on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 8:30PM ET/PT on ABC Family. Returning with 1-year highs for its Winter 2015 Season 4 premiere across target demos, to date, Baby Daddy ranks as cable TV's #1 series on Wednesdays at 8:30pm in Adults 18-34, Women 18-34 and Females 12-34 and is the #1 original cable TV telecast in Women 18-49 (616,000/1.0 rating). The series was also recently nominated for a People's Choice Award for Favorite Cable TV Comedy. OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network announced that it is ordering additional episodes of its four popular Tyler Perry scripted series including 23 one-hour episodes of the drama The Haves and the Have Nots; 22 one-hour episodes of the companion drama If Loving You is Wrong; 22 half-hour episodes of the comedy Love Thy Neighbor; and 20 half-hour episodes of the comedy For Better or Worse. Love Thy Neighbor will have its season finale on Wednesday, March 18 at 9 pm ET/PT) - In the season finale of the beloved comedy set at The Love Train Diner, Mama Hattie's (Patrice Lovely) daughter Linda's (Kendra C. Johnson) baby shower is interrupted by a very big surprise.

Love Thy Neighbor is followed a week later by the season premiere of the long-running "dramedy," For Better or Worse. In the Season 4 premiere on Friday, March 27 at 9pm ET/PT) - The series follows the ups and downs of dating and marriage and centers on Angela Williams (Tasha Smith), the owner of a successful beauty salon, and her husband of 13 years, Marcus (Michael Jai White). This new season, Keisha (Kiki Haynes) and Richard's (Kent Faulcon) messy divorce causes tensions among their entire group of friends as well as creates problems for C Sports. Richard leans heavily on his friendship with Marcus and Angela as he is forced to move in with them during this difficult time. The third network to add Raising Hope this fall will be... WGN America. The comedy launches with a three night premiere event beginning Wednesday, September 24 at 8P East/5P West. The premiere event will air from 8-11pm ET/5-8pm PT on all three nights from Sept. 24-26. The series will then air every Wednesday in primetime from 8pm-12am. Elsewhere in primetime, How I Met Your Mother will air in primetime on Thursdays from 8pm-1am. Movies will air Tuesdays and Fridays, while Mondays will have AFV from 8-11pm and Parks & Recreation from 11pm-12am. Weeknights in late nights have sitcoms from 1am-4am, with an hour each of Parks & Recreation, Rules of Engagement and 30 Rock. The weekday daytime schedule has Walker Texas Ranger at 9 & 10am, In the Heat of the Night at 11am & 12pm, and the news at 1pm. Afternoons as Law & Order at 2 & 3pm, new addition Blue Bloods at 4 & 5pm, and AFV at 6 & 7pm.

Weekends has Walker Texas Ranger at 9 & 10am and In the Heat of the Night at 11am & 12pm as well, but another In the Heat of the Night at 1. Law & Order: Criminal Intent airs at 2 & 3pm, followed by Law & Order at 4pm & 5pm. Bones airs at 6 & 7pm into Blue Bloods in primetime from 8pm-12am, but original series Manhattan airs on Sundays at 10 & 11pm. OWN's popular Tyler Perry sitcom For Better or Worse returned last Wednesday night (9/17/14) with its fall premiere episode at 9pm delivering the series' best performance since it debuted on the network one year ago (9/18/13). The premiere episode earned 1.2 million total viewers and a 1.0 rating in the network's key women 25-54 demo. Wednesday night's episode grew double-digits in both the women 25-54 demo (up +52%) and in total viewers (up +52%) vs. the spring season average (4/9/14-6/11/14). Additionally, it ranked #2 in the time period in all of cable for women 25-54. For Better or Worse, about the ups and downs of dating and marriage, centers on Angela Williams (Tasha Smith), the owner of a successful beauty salon, and her husband of 13 years, Marcus (Michael Jai White). Marcus is a former professional football player who is partnered with Richard Ellington (Kent Faulcon) and Joseph Jetson (Jason Olive) on a sports program called "C-Sports Now." Marcus's business relationship with Richard and Joseph is complicated, however, by the fact that Richard is married to Keisha (Kiki Haynes), Marcus's ex-girlfriend and the mother of his teenage daughter. In addition, Joseph's ex-girlfriend, successful real-estate agent Leslie (Crystle Stewart), is Angela's best friend, which sometimes makes it difficult for everyone to keep their business and private lives from mingling. For Better or Worse is produced for OWN by Tyler Perry Studios and is written, directed and executive produced by Tyler Perry.

ABC Family will be making some scheduling maneuvers starting Monday (June 9). That '70s Show will be off the line-up as Boy Meets World will air 7-8:30am. The Middle will be moving to mornings now and will air Mon–Fri 8:30am & 9am, as Still Standing is now off the schedule again. The Middle's second hour will now be Mon–Fri from 1-2pm, replacing an hour of Reba, which will move to 3-4pm instead of Boy Meets World. Not to worry, because the 2pm hour of Reba will still be on the schedule. And the biggest move is Boy Meets World will now also air from 5-6pm replacing The Middle. This means Boy Meets World will now air from 7-8:30am and 4-6pm. No word on why the last minute changes, but perhaps ABC Family is getting ready to promote sister network Disney Channel's upcoming series Girl Meets World by airing Boy Meets World at a later time. On Sunday, June 8 at 9|8c viewers will have the chance to catch up with some of their favorite television icons when Oprah: Where Are They Now? sits down with the cast of The Love Boat and Full House actor and comedian, Dave Coulier. In exciting new interviews, these stars will talk about the work they are most famous for and they will give all the latest updates on their careers and personal lives. The all-new season kicks off with compelling updates from the stars of the '70s hit television show The Love Boat, Ted Lange, Cynthia Lauren Tewes and Jill Whelan, as they reunite and reminisce about life aboard The Pacific Princess. Then, in a rare interview at her Beverly Hills home, the one and only Latin music sensation Charo shares the secrets of her success and sets the record straight about the real meaning of her multimillion-dollar catchphrase "Cuchi-Cuchi." Next, Dave Coulier charmed millions as the goofy and loveable Uncle Joey on the popular sitcom Full House. As soon as the New Year begins, Hallmark Channel will move on from the holiday movies and go back to their regular programming. Sitcoms Home Improvement and The Brady Bunch are among the series returning to the line-up on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014 along with a new acquisition. But first on New Year's Day (Wednesday, Jan. 1), Hallmark will air coverage of the 125th Tournament of Roses Parade from 10am-4pm. Then, it's time for laughs with a Home Improvement marathon beginning at 4pm through the night until 6am. The series will air from the beginning with the very first episode. The regular schedule begins Jan. 2 and will have I Love Lucy still from 6am-8am, but now The Brady Bunch is back on the schedule and will air weekdays from 8am-10am. Then it's time for Hallmark's original talk show Home & Family from 10am-12pm, followed by the return of the syndicated talk show The Better Show at noon. From 1pm-3pm will be the new time period for The Golden Girls leading into the return of Home Improvement from 3pm-6pm. Then we mentioned a new acquisition and that series will be the current drama The Good Wife! It was first announced earlier this year that it would premiere in January and now it is time! The Good Wife will air weekdays from 6-10pm with four episodes in evenings/primetime. Frasier will air leading out from 10pm-12am. Looks like The Waltons and Little House will not be needed in January.

In late night, The Golden Girls takes that shift from 12-2am. Cheers will remain with its nightly hour from 2-3am into the Frasier encore from 3-5am. And finally, I Love Lucy closes the night out from 5-6am. Onto weekends, there will be a marathon of The Good Wife on Saturday, Jan. 4 from 11am-11pm. Most Saturdays will have sitcoms in the mornings from 6am-1pm with a mix of I Love Lucy, The Brady Bunch and The Golden Girls. Movies and original series round out the afternoons and primetime, before more sitcoms air in late night, with The Golden Girls from 1-3am, Frasier 3-5am and I Love Lucy 5-6am. On Sundays, it is more of the same with sitcoms in the mornings from 6am-1pm with a mix of I Love Lucy, The Brady Bunch and The Golden Girls, like Saturdays. Then movies and original series round out the afternoons and primetime, before more sitcoms air in late night, with Frasier 12-1am, The Golden Girls from 1-3am, Frasier 3-5am and I Love Lucy 5-6am. And that's about it for Hallmark in January 2014. New addition The Good Wife and returns of sitcoms like Brady Bunch are the highlights and don't forget in March, Hallmark will add The Middle to its line-up. Stay with us for more updates on that!

OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network announced that its popular scripted series from Tyler Perry: drama The Haves and the Have Nots and comedy Love Thy Neighbor will return to the network's primetime lineup this January along with two new series, The Diamond Collar and Mom's Got Game and the return of comedienne Wanda Sykes with two new Herlarious comedy specials. The Haves and the Have Nots heats up this winter after its cliffhanger fall finale garnered a series high 2.6 million viewers, making it one of the most watched episodes in network history. On Tuesday, January 7 at 9pm the Cryer family is back with even more scandals, lies and deceit as judge Jim Cryer (John Schneider) mounts a campaign for governor despite escalating family problems and the vengeful actions of his former mistress Candace Young (Tika Sumpter). Perry's comedy Love Thy Neighbor, which garnered a series average 1 million viewers, returns to the primetime lineup on Wednesday, January 8 with two half-hour episodes back-to-back at 9 and 9:30pm and features even more hilarious hijinks from Mama Hattie (Patrice Lovely) and the gang at The Love Train Diner. In addition, the network will premiere all new episodes of returning series favorites in January including Oprah: Where Are They Now?, Oprah's Lifeclass and Raising Whitley.

As for the two new series, Friday, January 17 from 10-10:30pm is the premiere of new series The Diamond Collar featuring former mob enforcer James "Head" Guiliani in his new life as the owner of one of Brooklyn's top dog grooming parlors. Between the dogs, the staff, his fiery girlfriend, and his relentless passion for rescuing animals in need, life is a whole new "mob scene" for Guiliani. Then Saturday, January 18 at 10pm is the premiere of the new series Mom's Got Game featuring former WNBA star Pam McGee and her son, Denver Nuggets center JaVale McGee. For the McGees, basketball is a family business. Pam McGee is the first WNBA mother to have a son, JaVale, in the NBA. Now Pam has to juggle JaVale's career, while jumpstarting her dating life with the help of her girlfriends and trusty "manny," Jay.

It's almost that time of year again...the start of the new TV season! So let's get ready for that with annual network preview specials to inform us on what is new and returning! See our Fall 2012 preview from last year.

First up we will look at ABC. ABC's Fall 2013 preview special is titled ABC Fall Preview Special Presented by The Chew. Once again ABC will air two versions -- one in primetime and one for local ABC affiliates. The primetime version will be one-hour and air on Sunday, Sept. 1 at 7pm ET. The special showcases the new fall Primetime lineup, including the brand new Tuesday line-up of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Goldbergs, Trophy Wife and Lucky 7. The special will also feature the other new fall series Back in the Game, Super Fun Night, Betrayal and Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. The preview show will be hosted by The Chew's entertaining and style expert Clinton Kelly from Walt Disney Studios in California. Celebrity chefs Mario Batali, Michael Symon, and Carla Hall, along with wellness enthusiast Daphne Oz will each feature a new series. A half-hour version will be airing on ABC Affiliates beginning Sept. 14, so check your local listings (WABC in NYC hasn't scheduled it yet). The primetime version will be reaired on ABC on Monday, Sept. 2 at 1pm ET/12pm PT and on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 3:30pm ET/3pm PT. The special also airs on ABC-owned cable networks as well, as ABC Family will air it on Monday, Sept. 16 at 11:59pm. And as of now, it isn't on abc.com but it is still early.

Next is CBS. The CBS Fall 2013 preview special, simply titled CBS Fall Preview Sneak Peek will be a primetime special previewing CBS's new fall lineup on Thursday, Sept. 12 from 8:30-9:00 PM, ET/PT nationally on the CBS Television Network following an encore of The Big Bang Theory and leading into the final Thursday broadcast of Big Brother. The preview will feature sneak peeks of the five new additions to CBS's primetime schedule this fall: the drama series Hostages, and the comedy series Mom, The Crazy Ones, The Millers and We Are Men. CBS.com doesn't usually post the preview, so you'll have to watch it on-air or if you miss that, your local CBS might air it on a weekend in the daytime -- but that is not confirmed.

Moving on to NBC, the NBC Fall 2013 preview special (titled once again The NBC Primetime Preview Show) will start airing on their cable owned networks & local NBC affiliates (such as USA, Syfy, Bravo, UniHD, Chiller, mun2, MSNBC, CNBC, Oxygen, Sleuth, Xfinity, E! Entertainment Television, mun2, NBC2Go, on-demand and broadband) as of Aug. 24 and will continue to run through Oct. 6 (in NYC it is on next on WNBC Sat Sept. 1 at 7pm). The preview also will be made available to NBC affiliates and the network's owned television stations websites. In addition, American Airlines will feature the show in its in-flight programming. The special will be hosted by Sean Hayes and the cast of NBC's new comedy Sean Saves the World. The entertainment special will focus on NBC's new shows for the fall, including the dramas The Blacklist, Ironside and Dracula, along with the new comedies Welcome to the Family, The Michael J. Fox Show and Sean Saves the World.

Onto Fox, the Fox Fall 2013 preview special starts airing on local Fox affiliates soon on weekends and is simply titled Fox Fall Preview Special. It will only run on local Fox affiliates again and not on Fox in primetime. No information is available as of this writing on who is hosting and what the special features, but it will of course feature their new programs: Dads, Sleepy Hollow, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Enlisted, Almost Human, and MasterChef Junior. No idea yet also if it will be on fox.com, but check your local Fox listings for on-air showtimes.

And finally we conclude with The CW. The CW's Fall 2013 TV preview special is called The CW Fall First Look is airing on local CW affiliates as of last weekend (such as NY's WPIX on Sun. Sept 8 at 12:30am and Saturday, Sept. 14 at 3:30pm)! No word if it will also air nationally on The CW, but it didn't last year. Series featured will be Reign, The Tomorrow People, and The Originals. The affiliate special is a half-hour. No word yet on if you can watch the affiliate special online yet.

OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network announced that it has ordered an additional 26 episodes of the network's popular comedy from Tyler Perry Love Thy Neighbor (Wednesdays at 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.) bringing the total season order to 52 episodes. The current cycle will had its two-episode finale last night, with the new episodes premiering in January 2014. As previously announced, Tyler Perry's sitcom For Better or Worse will take over the timeslot beginning Wednesday, September 18 with two back-to-back half hour episodes at 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. For Better or Worse moves to OWN with all new episodes for season three. It previously aired on TBS in originals. Back to Love Thy Neighbor, it is set at a family-run diner, where feisty matriarch Hattie Mae Love (Patrice Lovely) has her hands full not only managing her customers but also her family drama. Since its debut on May 29, the series is averaging over 1 million total viewers, a 0.88 W25-54 rating and is Wednesday night's #1 original series on all of television for African American viewers.

In addition, the network has ordered an additional four episodes of the Tyler Perry drama The Haves and the Have Nots on top of the 16 additional episodes ordered in June. This brings the total order for The Haves and the Have Nots to 36 episodes for its first season. The series continues to break ratings records each week with its most recent broadcast on Tuesday, August 20 scoring its highest rated episode to-date in the network's key demo of women 25-54 (1.76 rating). Back to Tyler Perry's popular sitcom For Better or Worse, the series follows three couples as they navigate the ups-and-downs of dating and marriage. It makes its OWN debut with the premiere of its third season on Wednesday, September 18 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT (two back-to-back half-hour episodes). In the season premiere, Leslie Norris (Crystle Stewart, Miss USA 2008), rushes to the hospital on her wedding day after finding out Joseph Jetson (Jason Olive, Raising Helen) has been in a serious accident, leaving her pending nuptials to fiancé Chris (Eddie Cibrian, CSI: Miami) in question.

TV One has acquired the classic funky '70s sitcom What's Happening!! for its Friday night classic comedy line-up! The sitcom will begin airing on Friday, March 1, with a special two-hour block of episodes centered on Rerun (played by the late Fred Berry) from 8-10pm, as part of TV One's Friday night classic comedy block. Episodes airing on this night are all from season two: "Rerun Get's Married," "Give Me Odds," "Going Going Gong," and "Rerun Sees the Light." The special launch will encore the following day (Saturday, March 2) from 12-2pm. The What's Happening!! launch will lead into the season finale of original comedy Belle's on Friday at 10pm. TV One usually airs a block of classic comedies from 8-10pm, with series such as The Jeffersons, Good Times, A Different World all filling in. But wait, there's more! What's Happening!! will be airing on a regular basis beginning the following week. Effective Friday, March 8, the Friday night classic comedy block will have a set regular schedule and What's Happening!! will air Fridays at 11:00pm & 11:30pm ET! The Friday night classics schedule begins with That's My Mama at 8:00pm & 8:30pm, followed by back-to-back The Jeffersons at 9:00pm & 9:30pm, and Good Times at 10:00pm & 10:30pm leading into What's Happening!! It's a time warp back to the '70s on Friday nights! The What's Happening!! episodes will be going in order from the first episode and will encore on Saturdays at 2:00pm & 2:30pm beginning March 9. The Saturday morning schedule will have four episodes of That's My Mama from 6-8am, then a block of Good Times from 8am-12pm and Martin from 12-2pm leading into What's Happening!!

What's Happening!! has aired on TV One in the past, but only for Black History Month back in 2010 and not as a regular series. The series hasn't aired regularly on cable since it aired on TV Land from 2005-07. TV Land also aired select episodes from the follow-up series What's Happening Now!! but TV One does not have the rights to air that series, as of now. No other schedule changes will occur on TV One, so the classic Friday night comedy block will now have a set schedule and a new addition, while Saturday mornings will also get a bit of a makeover. Tyler Perry's popular sitcom For Better or Worse is coming to OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network with a third season of all new episodes debuting in the fall of 2013. In addition, the network has garnered the encore rights for the first two seasons of the sitcom's 45 episodes that originally aired on TBS. The series, which was basic cable's #1 sitcom of 2011 and the #1 show on all of television with African-American adults, follows three couples who are at various stages of their relationships as they weather the ups-and-downs of married life and dating. The original cast is set to return in their starring roles including Tasha Smith, Michael Jai White, Crystle Stewart, Kent Faulcon, Kiki Haynes and Jason Olive. Production will begin in Atlanta in April.

For Better or Worse will mark OWN's third scripted series from Perry who has an exclusive deal with the network to produce brand new television series and projects. The first two original series - the sitcom Love Thy Neighbor and the ensemble drama The Haves and the Have Nots - are set to premiere Wednesday, May 29. The original series mark the network's first venture into scripted programming and now they will have an established comedy to pitch in the fall in For Better or Worse. The series wrapped up its TBS-run in December with all-new episodes and repeats were airing on Friday nights through the end of January. Before it moves to OWN, TBS is still airing the series Tuesday and Wednesdays at 4am.
As for Love Thy Neighbor, it is a half-hour comedy set at Love's Diner, where every day the menu serves up good food, great laughs, valuable life lessons and a whole lot of love for its zany neighbors. Jonathan Chase, Palmer Williams, Patrice Lovely, Kendra C. Johnson, Andre Hall and Darmirra Brunson star.

Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) has announced an exclusive partnership with Tyler Perry, the award winning actor, director, screenwriter, playwright and producer, to become his singular destination for all-new television series and projects, including two new scripted series for the network to premiere in mid-2013. These will be the first original scripted series for OWN and Perry will executive produce, write and direct both series. Perry's popular television series Tyler Perry's House of Payne, Meet the Browns and For Better or Worse have been massive hits with record-breaking ratings on cable. Perry had his first foray into television in 2007 with the hit series House of Payne, which premiered as cable's biggest comedy debut ever. The series remained basic cable's top-rated sitcom only until the premiere of Perry's second series Meet the Browns.

Stay with us for further updates on these two scripted series projects. Most likely they will be sitcoms, so that's good news! Does this new deal mean that OWN will have library rights to House of Payne or Meet the Browns? We're not sure yet, but it is possible. Stay tuned...

Acclaimed comedian and brilliant writer Seth MacFarlane will host The 85th Annual Academy Awards(R), telecast producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron have announced. This will be MacFarlane's first appearance on Oscar's stage. The 85th Annual Academy Awards will be broadcast live on Oscar(R) Sunday on February 24, 2013 on ABC. MacFarlane made his feature directorial debut this summer with the box office success Ted. He also co-wrote and produced the film, and voiced the title character. Ted has brought in over $420 million worldwide, making it one of the highest-grossing films of the year.

Of course, MacFarlane is the creative force behind the television animated comedy Family Guy and co-creator of American Dad! and The Cleveland Show. In September he hosted Saturday Night Live for the first time, for the show's 38th season premiere. An accomplished live performer, he has played to sold-out audiences at London's Royal Albert Hall and New York's Carnegie Hall. In 2011 MacFarlane released his debut album, "Music Is Better than Words," which earned two Grammy(R) nominations. He also has earned 13 Emmy(R) nominations and won two for his work on Family Guy.
