Couple of weeks ago we hinted something is returning to TV Land after 3 years. Now we can reveal what that is. It is the TV Land Awards! It's the ultimate celebration of TV! TV Land announced today that the TV Land Awards will be hosted by Terry Crews (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Millionaire), one of the most versatile performers of TV and film. This year's awards will honor the most creative, popular and loved stars and series, including Parenthood, The Wonder Years, Ally McBeal, Betty White, who will receive The Legend Award, and Donny and Marie Osmond, who will be accepting the Pop Culture Award. The late groundbreaking comedian Joan Rivers will also be honored with a special tribute. Presenters and more honorees will be announced in the coming week. The ceremony will tape on Saturday, April 11 at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills and air Saturday, April 18 at 9pm ET/PT on TV Land with simulcasts on Nickelodeon and NickMom. Viewers can follow the night on @tvland on Twitter with the hashtag #TVLA. Parenthood is receiving the Fan Favorite Award, a salute to a series that is considered an All-American classic and much-loved by its fans. Confirmed to be at the TV Land Awards include series stars Lauren Graham, Craig T. Nelson, Peter Krause, Bonnie Bedelia, Erika Christensen, Miles Heizer, Sam Jaeger, Savannah Paige Rae, Max Burkholder, Tyree Brown, Sarah Ramos, Xolo Mariduea and executive producer Jason Katims.

The Wonder Years will receive this year's Impact Award, which honors shows that have made a significant impression on American entertainment and culture. Series stars Fred Savage, Danica McKellar, Josh Saviano, Olivia d'Abo, Jason Hervey and Alley Mills will be in attendance. Ally McBeal will be honored with the Groundbreaking Award, given to a series that sparked conversation about cultural issues. Executive producer David E. Kelley, along with stars Calista Flockhart, Peter MacNicol, Lisa Nicole Carson, Gil Bellows and Courtney Thorne-Smith will be accepting the award with more cast members expected to join. Receiving The Legend Award this year is Betty White (The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Golden Girls, TV Land's Hot in Cleveland). Triple threat brother and sister duo Donny and Marie Osmond will be on hand to receive the Pop Culture Award, honoring their staying power in the cultural zeitgeist. As we broke last month, Fox will air its 25th Anniversary Special on Sunday, April 22 from 8-10PM. We exclusively mentioned that among the classic Fox series that will be featured are Arrested Development, Beverly Hills 90210, In Living Color, Married...with Children, That '70s Show, and The X-Files. Now we have some more info! The star-studded special will take an entertaining look back at the groundbreaking and irreverent shows that have defined the network since its first signal transmission on April 5, 1987. The star-studded special will pay tribute to Fox's most memorable moments with appearances by Fox talent, highlights from iconic series and specials and reunions with cast members from some of the network's fan-favorite series, including Married With Children, among other surprises.
Talent scheduled to appear on Fox's 25th Anniversary Special include Calista Flockhart from Ally McBeal; Gabrielle Carteris, Shannen Doherty, Jason Priestley and Ian Ziering from Beverly Hills, 90210; Christina Applegate, David Faustino, Ed O'Neill and Katey Sagal from Married With Children; Patrick Warburton from The Tick; and Gillian Anderson, David Duchovny and creator Chris Carter from The X-Files. The host, additional Fox talent and more cast reunions to be announced. I'm thinking we get the casts of Arrested Development, That '70s Show, In Living Color, Living Single, and Martin perhaps? Like NBC did with Smash and Fox did with New Girl, ABC is previewing the full Don't Trust The B---- in Apartment 23 pilot on Hulu before its Wednesday, April 11 at 9:30pm premiere. Con artist (Krysten Ritter) and her snarky friend James Van Der Beek (as himself!) teach small-town girl June how to survive in NYC. Preview the pilot below:



The second episode will also premiere on Hulu on Monday, April 2 before its April 18 air date, and following episodes will be available a day after they air on ABC on Hulu, Hulu Plus and abc.com.
We have already watched three episodes of the series for review and we will have our formal review of this comedy a day before the premiere on Tuesday, April 10 - so come on back for that! Hint: It's a great show! But for now, you can't trust that b--- in apartment 23, so watch the pilot and spread the word of this fine comedy!

ReelzChannel TV announced its new fall broadcast schedule starts with a bang as the hit sitcoms Coach and Spin City join the daytime lineup. The two Emmy-winning sitcoms join the daytime lineup as Coach *starting today) and Spin City (starting next Monday) make their Reelz debut. Back-to-back episodes of Coach will air every weekday starting at 10am ET/7am PT with an additional half-hour weekdays at 2pm PT/11am PT starting today (Sept. 26). In Coach, Craig T. Nelson plays university football coach Hayden Fox who is trying to get his bumbling team on track while dealing with the two headstrong women in his life.
Spin City also joins the Reelz daytime lineup every day of the week with two back-to-back episodes starting at 11am ET/8am PT and two more episodes starting at 4pm ET/1pm PT on weekdays -- all starting Monday, Oct. 3. Saturday and Sundays get a slight spin too with back-to-back episodes of Spin City starting at 1pm ET/ 10am PT. In Spin City, a New York City Deputy Mayor (Michael J. Fox), supported by an unusual staff, must constantly bail out the Mayor (Barry Bostwick) who never knows what is going on. Spin City also stars Charlie Sheen who won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor for his role in the series.
The rest of the weekday schedule will have Carson's Comedy Classics remaining in the 8am hour, followed by an hour of the Ted Danson sitcom Becker, followed by the aforementioned Coach at 10am and Spin City at 11am. Brothers and Sisters and Ally McBeal will be leaving the line-up to make way for these two comedies. Original series takes over from 12pm-1:30pm, but then Cheers airs at 1:30pm leading into Coach at 2pm. 3rd Rock from the Sun follows at 2:30pm. The 3pm hour will feature more Cheers leading into the new 4pm addition of Spin City. After an hour of original programming, sitcoms air again with an hour of Becker at 6pm and 3rd Rock from the Sun at 7pm. The primetime movie airs at 8pm leading into another hour of Cheers, which will encore at 1am as well after the 11pm movie. Original series airs from 2am on, in the overnight. On to weekends, for both Saturdays and Sundays, sitcoms airing are: Spin City from 1-2pm, Becker 6-7pm, and Cheers 7-8pm & 10pm-11pm.
Elsewhere, the mini-series 10.5 marks the beginning of Reelz's commitment to miniseries this season as three Emmy® Award-winning and nominated miniseries air over three months, starting with 10.5 on October 2, followed by Reelz's own The Kennedys on November 6 and The Pillars of the Earth on December 4, 2011.
Well, there you have it, the ReelzChannel TV Fall 2011 schedule! The fun begins today with Coach and next week for everything else -- Monday, Oct. 3! Stay with us for any further updates.

We mentioned above that Brothers and Sisters has left the ReelzChannel TV line-up starting today. Where is it now? Disney-owned SOAPnet has acquired the rights to the family drama. The series begins tonight at 5pm & 6pm with the first two episodes. Elsewhere, SOAPnet is making room for classic episodes of your favorite ABC daytime soaps: All My Children, One Life to Live, and General Hospital! The changes starting today are: The OC will now air weekdays at 6am & 11am, One Tree Hill will now air in a block airing weekedays from 12pm-3pm, Beverly Hills 90210 will now move up to weekdays at 3pm & 4pm with the addition of Brothers and Sisters at 5pm & 6pm.
As for the daytime soap changes, classic episodes of All My Children, One Life To Live and General Hospital will air from 3-6am. Current episodes of daytime soaps will have The Young and the Restless now airing weekdays at 7pm, 11pm & 10am; Days of Our Lives now airing weekdays at 8pm, 12am, & 7am; One Life to Live now airing weekdays at 9pm, 1am & 9am; and General Hospital now airing weekdays at 10pm, 2am & 8am. As you all know, All My Children ends its TV run on Friday on ABC, so there won't be anything new to air--so enjoy the classic episodes at 3am.
Stay with us for further changes, as SOAPnet will continue beyond January 2012 now, (it will be rebranded to Disney Junior sometime in 2012). But for how much longer? We'll let you know when we know.

ReelzChannel TV will be making some time changes starting on Monday (March 7). First, Carson's Comedy Classics will remain leading off at 8am. NewsRadio moves into the weekday 9am hour replacing Becker, however Cheers will remain at 10am. NewsRadio will no longer air in the 11am hour, as original programming takes over. Then in the afternoon, Ally McBeal moves to 1pm and is reduced to just one airing. NewsRadio remains in the 2pm hour, but now the 3pm & 4pm hours will be sitcoms instead of Ally. The 3pm hour will have an hour of Becker followed by an hour of Cheers. The evening sitcoms remain unchanged with Becker at 6 and 3rd Rock from the Sun at 7pm. Primetime and late night also remains unchanged on weeknights with a movie at 8, Brothers & Sisters at 10, another movie at 11 and Cheers at 1am on most nights.
On weekends, Becker remains in the 9am hour leading into Cheers at 10am, as well as Becker at 6pm into 3rd Rock from the Sun at 7pm. However, Cheers will air now at 10pm on weekends! Everything else remains as is on weekends, including Brothers & Sisters on Sundays at 12pm & 1pm.

Moving on to some other schedule notes, Girlfriends will return to the BET weekday schedule airing weekdays in the 12pm hour starting Monday, March 7. The sitcom will replace Everybody Hates Chris, which will remain at 5pm. Everything else remains as is, with Bernie Mac from 9am-11am, Jamie Foxx Show at 11am, The Game from 3-5pm, and Everybody Hates Chris at 5pm. Weekends will have a mix of all of these sitcoms starting in the morning and lasting into the afternoon. Also, The Unit returns to the schedule on Saturday, Mach 12 at 8am with an encore at 3am.
And on GMC, they will have a marathon of the family drama Christy starring Kellie Martin on Sunday (March 6) from 10am-1am. The drama was on the schedule when they launched the revamped network, but it hasn't been on in a while regularly. Will it return to the line-up? We will let you know, so stay with us!

Late on Friday, Fox announced its revised mid-season 2011 schedule. As always, Fox releases their first draft of the mid-season schedule during upfronts every May, but almost always the schedule changes when a revised version is announced in November. And that is the case here, too. We hinted earlier in the day on Friday on Twitter that American Idol would be moving to Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8pm, and it became official.
American Idol moves to Wednesdays and Thursdays beginning with a two-night premiere event Wednesday, Jan. 19 from 8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT and Thursday, Jan. 20 in the 8:00 PM ET/PT hour. American Idol welcomes new judges Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler, who join judge Randy Jackson and host Ryan Seacrest, and an all-new crop of hopefuls from auditions held in Austin, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Nashville, New Orleans, San Francisco and East Rutherford, NJ. Idol Wednesday will regularly air Wednesdays in the 8:00 PM hour, before expanding to two-hours episodes beginning Feb. 16 and then later will be reduced to 90-minutes from 8:00-9:30 PM starting April 6. Idol Thursday will air in the 8:00 PM hour every week.
The mid-season schedule starts Tuesday, Jan. 4 with more Million Dollar Money Drop as it will challenge more duos to keep their $1 million with all-new episodes airing for four weeks on Tuesdays at 9:00 PM ET/PT starting Jan. 4, plus two bonus Thursday at 8:00 PM ET/PT episodes on Jan. 6 and 13. Then after a run of six all-new episodes in a row this fall, Human Target springs into action with special two-hour episodes airing Wednesday, Jan. 5 and 12 from 8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT. The action-packed drama charges into its time period premiere Wednesday, Jan. 26 at 9:00 PM ET/PT following American Idol for three weeks to finish up its season of 13 episodes.
Bob's Burgers, the new animated comedy about a man, his family and their burger joint, opens Sunday, Jan. 9 at 8:30 PM ET/PT. In the newest addition to the Sunday "Animation Domination" lineup, Bib (H. Jon Benjamin) and his quirky family have big ideas about burgers, but fall short on service and sophistication. Despite the greasy counters, lousy location and a dearth of customers, Bob and his family are determined to make Bob's "grand re-re-re-opening" a success. As a result of this addition, The Cleveland Show will be moving starting Sunday, Jan. 9 at 9:30 PM ET/PT, with American Dad! moving to a new time a week later Sunday, Jan. 16 at 7:30 PM ET/PT. The Simpsons and Family Guy remain in their 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM half-hours.
Lie to Me reveals a special two-hour episode Monday, Jan. 10 from 8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT with Dr. Cal Lightman (Tim Roth) continuing his search for the truth in its regular time period Mondays at 9:00 PM ET/PT until Jan. 31 following new episodes of House. As previously announced, The Chicago Code, the new police drama from creator Shawn Ryan (The Shield), will make its anticipated debut the night after Super Bowl XLV, Monday, Feb. 7 at 9:00 PM ET/PT, following all-new episodes of House.
The thrill continues when Bones moves to a new time period on Thursdays ow at 9:00 PM ET/PT after American Idol starting Jan. 20. As a result, fan-favorite Fringe will travel to a new night with all-new episodes beginning Friday, Jan. 28 at 9:00 PM ET/PT. Also on Fridays, Kitchen Nightmares serves up a new season Friday, Jan. 21 at 8:00 PM ET/PT. Each week, Chef Gordon Ramsay will try to help turn around some of the country's most unsanitary and unsuccessful restaurants on the verge of closing their doors forever.
Fox Tuesday line-up will return in February, as Glee continues with encores until all-new episodes begin in February with a special installment airing immediately following Super Bowl XLV Sunday, Feb. 6 (approximately 10:30-11:30 PM ET/7:30-8:30 PM PT). Then beginning Tuesday, Feb. 8 at 8:00 PM ET/PT, Glee leads a night of all-new episodes of Fox comedies, including the return of Raising Hope at 9:00 PM ET/PT and the premiere of new comedy Mixed Signals at 9:30 PM ET/PT. Mixed Signals is the new relationship comedy created by Bob Fisher that reveals how friendships and romances both enhance and complicate the lives of the men and women in them. The new ensemble comedy stars David Denman (The Office), Nelson Franklin (I Love You, Man), Kris Marshall (Human Target), Liza Lapira (Dexter) and Aya Cash (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit).
Additionally, Fox has picked up the comedy Breaking In (working title), an offbeat half-hour workplace comedy about a high-tech security firm that takes extreme - and often questionable - measures to sell their protection services. Created by Adam F. Goldberg and Seth Gordon, the series centers on a team of uniquely skilled oddball geniuses hand-picked to work for a manipulative mastermind. Starring Christian Slater (the forgotten), Bret Harrison (Reaper) and Odette Yustman (October Road), the new comedy premieres Wednesday, April 6 at 9:30 PM ET/PT following 90-minute American Idol episodes from 8:00-9:30 PM ET/PT.

You take care of the turkey, ReelzChannel will handle the TV. On Thanksgiving Day, ReelzChannel is airing the first 12 episodes of Ally McBeal in the first ever "McBeal-athon" - 12 hours of America's favorite quirky, self-questioning lawyer played by Calista Flockhart. The Ally McBeal-athon starts at 8am ET through 8pm ET on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 25, 2010 only on ReelzChannel!
The Ally McBeal-athon begins with the pilot episode where we meet Ally, a new law school graduate who is caught off guard when she accepts a job at a law firm only to learn that her childhood sweetheart and first love works there too. We mentioned in early August that ReelzChannel is now airing Ally McBeal and NewsRadio and hinted that 3rd Rock from the Sun would be coming in October, so we now have details on that plus more shows they have acquired for Fall 2010!
ReelzChannel today announced four new shows in Brothers & Sisters, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Becker and DigiVangelist will premiere on ReelzChannel on Monday, October 4, 2010. Brothers & Sisters is making its cable debut and will air weekdays at 7pm, as current timeslot holder NewsRadio will move to the 12 noon hour. 3rd Rock from the Sun will air weekdays following NewsRadio in the 1pm hour and also air on weekends in the 7pm hour on Saturdays and the 10am hour on Sundays. Becker will start the schedule off seven days a week in the 9am hour. Meanwhile, Ally McBeal will shift its airings from 3pm & 4pm to 4pm & 5pm every weekday afternoon.
Reelz also will continue to air Carson's Comedy Classics every weekday but it will move to 8am & 8:30am. That's highlights from the first 20 years of The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. We didn't get a chance to blog this (we did post it on our message board, though), but Hallmark Channel didn't end up airing Little House on the Prairie starting yesterday (Sept. 27) weekdays from 3-6pm, as they kept the Martha Stewart Show encores in the 4pm & 5pm hours. Now Hallmark Channel will remove the 1pm-4pm block from the "Martha Stewart Home" block starting tomorrow (Wednesday, Sept. 29)! First at 11:30am, Mad Hungry with Lucinda Scala Quinn will get a repeat airing following an original episode at 11am replacing Everyday Food, which is now gone. Talk show Whatever with Alexis & Jennifer remains in the 12pm hour, but the 1pm-4pm series are now removed. From Martha's Home, From Martha's Garden, From Martha's Kitchen, and a repeat of Mad Hungry with Lucinda Scala Quinn from 1pm-3pm will be replaced by a two-hour block of I Love Lucy! Yes, as I suggested last week, Lucy is back on weekdays! And finally the 3pm hour will now be an episode of Little House on the Prairie, replacing a repeat of talk show Whatever with Alexis & Jennifer. The repeats of The Martha Stewart Show will remain in the 4pm & 5pm hours. Maybe Hallmark is hoping that Lucy/Little House will jump start their afternoon schedule and give a better lead-in for the repeats of The Martha Stewart Show? The cable network ReelzChannel TV is a cable and satellite network delivering daily original programming that is all about movies and entertainment, including the celebrities, fashion, music and stories behind the stories. They launched in September 2006 and is currently reaching more than 50 million homes nationwide. Anyway, they have acquired a few TV series and have begun airing them on the network. They have acquired the sitcom NewsRadio and are airing it seven days a week at 7:00pm & 7:30pm ET. The sitcom has been airing on the network since July 19. We are sorry for the delay in letting you know. They are airing two different cycles, one cycle at 7pm and another at 7:30pm. NewsRadio was last seen on and off on WGN America and also TV Guide Network had rights. It was also on Nick at Nite, TBS and A&E some years back.
ReelzChannel has also acquired the comedic legal series Ally McBeal! The Calista Flockhart series started on Reelz on August 2 and is airing five days a week on weekdays at 3pm and 4pm ET. Like with NewsRadio, there are two different cycles, one cycle at 3pm and another at 4pm. Ally McBeal has not been seen on cable since it left FX. It aired on FX from about 2001-2004, but it never garnered good ratings for them.
Reelz also airs Carson's Comedy Classics weekdays at 10am & 10:30am. That's highlights from the first 20 years of The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. The rest of the ReelzChannel schedule has original series and movies air every night at 8pm & 11pm (and on weekends at 2pm & 5pm).

CMT has ordered 12 episodes of its first scripted comedy, Working Class, a half-hour, family-oriented sitcom starring Melissa Peterman. Set to premiere on CMT in January 2011, Working Class follows the life of a single blue collar mom, who has recently moved her family to a rich suburban neighborhood to try and provide a better life for her kids, while proudly retaining her 'working class' roots.
Peterman has been a staple of CMT recently, hosting CMT's #1-rated series of 2009, The Singing Bee, and she recently starred in her first televised special Melissa Peterman: Am I The Only One for CMT. She has also starred in sitcoms such as Reba as well guest appearances on Surviving Suburbia, Rita Rocks, Just Shoot Me! and Living with Abandon. She has hosted CMT's Comedy Stage, as well as the annual Hollywood Bowl's The Sound of Music Sing-A-Long. Peterman was recently signed to Big Machine Records to release her first comedy album and is currently on tour with Reba, George Strait and Lee Ann Womack.
Working Class is written and executive produced by Jill Cargerman (Spin City/Gary Unmarried) and will be produced internally. Brad Johnson and Bob Kusbit will oversee the series for CMT.
