New Year's Eve 2019 and New Year's Day 2020 TV Marathons
TV One has a New Year's Eve marathon of Sanford & Son starting at 6am through 3am, followed by a New Year's Day marathon of Good Times also from 6am-3am. TV Land will go with multiple marathons on New Year's Day with The Golden Girls from 9am-1pm, The Andy Griffith Show from 1pm-8pm and The King of Queens from 8pm-3am. FXX will continue its marathon of The Simpsons that started a few weeks ago and will end on New Year's Eve night at 2am. Comedy Central ends the year with a South Park marathon from 9am-2am and then starts the year with Chappelle's Show on New Year's Day from 9am-5am, as we mentioned. There is a New Year's Eve and Day marathon of Sex and the City on E! that has already begun. USA Network has a Law & Order: SVU Resolve to Watch New Year's Eve and Day marathon starting at 6am on New Year's Eve. Other notable marathons on New Year's Eve includes Criminal Minds on ION, more Twilight Zone on Decaces, Law & Order/Law & Order: Criminal Intent marathon on WEtv, Chicago P.D. marathon on Oxygen and a Doctor Who marathon on BBC America that has already started and runs through 5am on Jan. 2.
It won't be the end of the year and the start of the year without ABC's Dick Clark's Primetime New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2019 special on New Year's Eve from 8pm-10pm, followed by its annual specials at 10pm and 11:30pm. NBC and Fox air their own New Year's Eve specials hosted by Carson Daly and Steve Harvey, respectively. Movie wise, AMC, TNT, Freeform and many others will air movies on New Year's Day, while Hallmark Channel continues to air Christmas movies on New Year's Eve. Tune in Tuesday and Wednesday for all of this!
