Today is Fox's turn at the TCA Summer 2010 press tour. And once again our pal Mike of TVTango.com has live coverage! As always, you can ask a question to a panel member and he will try to get it answered for you! View his live coverage all day!
Up first was breakfast with the cast of the new Fox Friday series Human Target and The Good Guys. Then it was on to the first panel of the day with new Monday drama Lone Star. The next panel was for new Tuesday comedy Running Wilde. Then it was on to the executive session with Fox Entertainment President Kevin Reilly. Some of the things we learned were: Terra Nova, the new family adventure drama series executive-produced by Steven Spielberg, Peter Chernin, Brannon Braga and David Fury, will preview in May 2011 on Fox prior to its series premiere in the fall (like Glee did). Jason O'Mara (Life on Mars) has been cast in the lead role of Jim Shannon, the patriarch of the show's central family. As previously announced, Emmy Award winner Alex Graves will direct the pilot, and Emmy Award-winning executive producer and director Jon Cassar has joined the series as an executive producer and series director. Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Amber Riley, Hugh Laurie, Halle Berry, Ricky Gervais, Daniel Radcliffe, Jemaine Clement, Bret McKenzie, Mark Zuckerberg, Mike Scioscia, Martha Stewart, Paul Rudd, Rachel Weisz, Cheech & Chong, Jon Hamm, Kristen Wiig, Alyson Hannigan, Danica Patrick, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Joe Mantegna are among the guest voices for Season 22 of The Simpsons. From the network that brought you The Teen Choice Awards, now brings anothe fan voting awards series, this time for country music. The inaugural American Country Awards (ACAs) will air live from Las Vegas on Monday, Dec. 6 from 8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed on Fox. The two-hour special will feature performances and appearances by the year's chart-topping country artists and will be the first country music awards show where the fans determine the winners. COME ON BACK FOR MORE UPDATES...KEEP REFRESHING AND DON'T FORGET TO ASK QUESTIONS TO TVTANGO!
After the executive session it was on to lunch and to watch a live table read for Fox Sunday animated comedy American Dad! Pretty cool to watch a table read. Then it was off to the third panel of the day with another new Fox Tuesday comedy Raising Hope. The fourth panel was next with Fox's summer reality series MasterChef. And finally the final panel was for Glee, which returns for its second season now on Tuesdays at 8.
