Comedy Central/USA/TNT/Syfy/WE tv Fall 2010 Schedules; This Blog Celebrates 5th Anniversary TODAY!

Today's fall schedule barrage theme is "more of the same." There will be some cable networks who really aren't changing anything this September (not sure about October just yet). They include USA Network, TNT, WE tv, Syfy and Comedy Central. USA Network will continue to have Wings and Becker air on a few weekdays in the 6am hour with various late night filler airings also. Drama blocks and movies still air on weekdays for shows such as Monk, House, NCIS, Law & Order: SVU, and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Wednesday mornings has Walker, Texas Ranger and JAG still from 7am-12pm. Original series will have season finales in September are: White Collar on Tuesday, Sept. 7 at 9pm, Psych on Wednesday, Sept. 8 at 10pm, and the two-hour season finale of Covert Affairs on Tuesday, Sept. 14 from 9-11pm. Burn Notice and Royal Pains end their summer runs on Aug. 26. Psych and Burn Notice will return with new episodes in November, while Royal Pains and White Collar return in January with new series Facing Kate. No word on Covert Affairs yet, but that is a lock for renewal and USA also has the fourth season of In Plain Sight sometime in 2011.
As for Comedy Central, it's more of the same as well. Scrubs continues to air in the weekday 6pm hour and the only sitcom on the network. The series will also remain in its weekend early afternoon stack as well. New episodes of South Park and Futurama will continue to air.
WE tv, TNT and Syfy have the exact same line-up for September as they do right now, with shows like Charmed (6-8pm), The Golden Girls (11pm-1am), and Ghost Whisperer (1am) on WE tv; Angel, Charmed, Supernatural, Las Vegas, The Closer, Cold Case, Law & Order, Bones, CSI NY and NUMB3RS on TNT...all in the same time slots! And on Syfy daytime rotation marathons continue frm 8am-4pm with seris like Early Edition, Jericho, Twilight Zone, Seven Days, The Sentinel, and more. Star Trek: Enterprise, Stargate Atlantis, Stargate SG-1 airs Tues-Fri from 4pm-7pm, with Ghost Whisperer airing Mondays from 4pm-10pm. Highlander airs at most nights at 1am. Original series like Warehouse 13, Eureka and Haven will continue.
We had to cover these because we would get the question if these networks are making any changes in September. But are these the fall line-ups? We're not sure. Changes could be made in October, so stay tuned if there is anything changing.
Stay tuned for more fall schedules soon. We still have BET/Centric, Hallmark Channel, GMC, AmericanLife, FamilyNet and more to go through.

Today is a special day here at SitcomsOnline, as this blog launched 5 years ago today on Aug. 19, 2005! Since then we have done nothing but post daily every single day! That means we have not missed a single day...that's over 1,825 consecutive days of posts by us (so in about 6 months we will reach 2,000 straight days!)! We thank you for visiting everyday and making this blog a big success with growth that just keeps growing. We hope you continue to come on back everyday for the next five years (and hopefully beyond!), as we have no plans of stopping anytime soon! You hear that Guinness? When are we going to be in the record books for most consecutive days of blog posts? Anyway, look at our very first blog post (which was really just an introduction of what we were going to do). We now are entering our sixth season of delivering news on the blog, we hope we run as long as The Simpsons or Gunsmoke. We'll be delivering sitcom news, TV schedules, etc for years to come, so as I always say, stay with us!
