The Paper Renewed for Season 2, NYC Event on Tuesday; Final Season of Bel-Air
Peacock has ordered a second season of new comedy series The Paper. The series premiered on Peacock last Thursday, Sept. 4. In the tradition of The Office, which is one of the most binged series of all time, The Paper dropped all 10 episodes at once so fans can enjoy the entirety of the show at their convenience.
The documentary crew that immortalized Dunder Mifflin's Scranton branch in the Emmy Award-winning series The Office find a new subject when they discover a historic Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it. Starring Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young, Tim Key, and Oscar Nuñez.
Peacock is turning the streets of New York into a love letter to local newspapers in celebration of The Paper. On Tuesday, September 9, the plaza at Rockefeller Center and Flatiron Plaza will transform into immersive, pop-up newsstands inspired by The Toledo Truth Teller, the fictional Midwestern paper at the heart of the series. Guests are invited to embrace the magic of newspapers with a towering "Tower of Truth" installation, a special appearance from star Oscar Nuñez (Oscar Martinez), and complimentary PopUp Bagels to enjoy as they take a bite out of the morning news (please note bagels are first come, first served).
The fourth and final season of the hit Peacock series Bel-Air will premiere on Monday, November 24.
In season four of Peacock's Bel-Air, Will tries to balance the fun and excitement of senior year with the expectations that have brought him to this moment. Carlton tests his own resolve as he deals with the fallout of some very big decisions that could threaten his future. Together, both boys will help each other through this pivotal time in their lives. An unexpected power shift will threaten the brotherhood between Phil and Geoffrey, whose loyalties to the Banks family will be tested. Viv struggles with reinventing herself as she looks at motherhood from a different perspective. It’s Ashley’s freshman year in high school and she’s working through a rebellious phase but quickly learns that the status quo may no longer serve her. Hilary goes on a journey of self-exploration.
