Netflix's Long Story Short Announces Cast; NBC Renews All Chicago Series for 2025-26

Netflix has announced the cast of adult animated comedy series Long Story Short from Raphael Bob-Waksberg, creator of BoJack Horseman, coming August 22. Starring the voices of Lisa Edelstein, Paul Reiser, Ben Feldman, Abbi Jacobson, Max Greenfield, Angelique Cabral, Nicole Byer, as well as recurring guests Dave Franco and Michaela Dietz. Long Story Short is an animated comedy from the creator of BoJack Horseman about one family, over time. Jumping through the years, we follow the Schwooper siblings from childhood to adulthood and back again, chronicling their triumphs, disappointments, joys, and compromises.
NBC's hugely popular Wednesday night #OneChicago franchise has been renewed for the 2025-26 season. Of course #OneChicago consists of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D., all on Wednesday nights. All three Chicago dramas have seen increased viewing on Peacock vs. last season. In its 10th season, Chicago Med airs at 8 p.m. Wednesdays and is executive produced by Dick Wolf, Allen MacDonald, Stephen Hootstein and Peter Jankowski. In its 13th season, Chicago Fire airs at 9 p.m. Wednesdays and is executive produced by Dick Wolf, Andrea Newman, Reza Tabrizi, Matt Whitney and Peter Jankowski. In its 12th season, Chicago P.D. airs at 10 p.m. Wednesdays and is executive produced by Dick Wolf, Gwen Sigan, Chad Saxton, Gavin Harris, Jason Beghe, and Peter Jankowski.
