Mayim Bialik to Host Primetime Jeopardy! Series and Spin-offs; I Know What You Did Last Summer The Series Premieres October 15

Sony Pictures Television (SPT) announced that Mike Richards and Mayim Bialik (Call Me Kat, The Big Bang Theory) have been named as the new hosts of Jeopardy!. How both you may wonder? Richards will kick off Season 38 as the full-time host of Jeopardy!'s long-running daily syndicated program. Bialik joins as the host of Jeopardy!'s primetime and spinoff series, including the upcoming all-new Jeopardy! National College Championship set to air on ABC next year, as the studio looks to extend the Jeopardy! franchise to new platforms. Jeopardy! The Greatest of All Time winner Ken Jennings will return as consulting producer for the show. Richards will continue to serve as executive producer of Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune.
More details on the primetime series to come, but Jeopardy! National College Championship is an all-new tournament which will air in primetime on ABC in 2022. Hosted by Mayim Bialik, the competition will feature 15 colleges and universities from across the country battling head-to-head for two weeks of intense competition. Each of the winning students gets a grand prize of $100,000. Jeopardy! National College Championship is produced by Sony Pictures Television. Mike Richards will executive produce.
Amazon Prime Video announced that the first season of its highly anticipated Amazon Original series I Know What You Did Last Summer will premiere Friday, October 15 on Amazon Prime Video, with the official first-look images out now. The eight-episode Amazon
Original series will be available exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 territories and countries around the world, and is a co-production with Sony Pictures Television. The first four episodes will be released on October 15, with new episodes available each subsequent Friday. The series will culminate in a suspenseful, can't-miss season finale on November 12, 2021.
Written and executive produced by Sara Goodman, I Know What You Did Last Summer is based on Lois Duncan's 1973 novel, which was also the basis of the iconic 1997 film. One year after the fatal car accident that haunted their graduation night, a group of teenagers find themselves bound together by a dark secret and stalked by a brutal killer. As they try to piece together who's after them, they reveal the dark side of their seemingly perfect town - and themselves. Everyone is hiding something, and uncovering the wrong secret could be deadly. The series stars Madison Iseman, Bill Heck, Brianne Tju, Ezekiel Goodman, Ashley Moore, Sebastian Amoruso, Fiona Rene, Cassie Beck, and Brooke Bloom.
