TBS and truTV Present I'm Sorry Mother's Day Marathon; HBO Max Orders Comedy with Jean Smart

I'm Sorry

This Sunday, May 10, TBS and truTV invite you to an I'm Sorry Mother's Day Brunch! Both networks are joining forces to celebrate moms everywhere with a special Mother's Day marathon of the comedy. TBS will air the first five episodes of season 1 from 10:00am - 12:30pm, then the marathon will continue on truTV with the last five episodes from 12:30pm - 3:00pm. Created by and starring Andrea Savage (Veep, Episodes, The Hotwives), I’m Sorry follows a confident comedy writer, wife and mom Andrea (played by Savage), who comically exposes her inner immaturity and neuroses through unexpected life situations. She is joined by her husband Mike (Tom Everett Scott), their inquisitive daughter Amelia (Olive Petrucci), and her divorced parents (Kathy Baker and Martin Mull), as well as a close circle of friends. In the series' first two seasons, I'm Sorry has explored hilariously absurd yet undoubtedly relatable situations.

The third season of the half-hour scripted comedy has been greenlit for 10 episodes and is slated to air on truTV sometime in 2020.

Jean Smart

HBO Max has ordered 10 episodes of the single-camera 'Untitled Aniello, Downs, Statsky Project,' created and written by Broad City alums Paul W. Downs, Lucia Aniello and Jen Statsky, and executive produced by the trio alongside Michael Schur.
