SitcomsOnline Digest: An Early Look at What's Coming and Going for Next Season; Trial & Error Gets New Murderer for Second Season

- We are only a few short months away from knowing which series will be renewed and canceled, and Deadline has put together a report of the current status of the broadcast network series (Deadline)
- Trial & Error is returning for a second season, with a new accused killer played by Kristin Chenoweth. (Hollywood Reporter)
- Drunk History has been renewed for a sixth season. (Variety)
- Parks and Recreation has come back to life (sort of) as the cast was less than pleased that NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch used a Leslie Knope GIF on social media. (Rolling Stone)
- Actress Nanette Fabray, who has appeared in numerous sitcoms (most notably One Day at a Time), has died. (NY Times)
- Superstore has been picked up for a fourth season, something that few probably would've expected when the series made it's unassuming premiere. (SitcomsOnline)
- Diff'rent Strokes - The Complete Seventh Season (DVD, $19.97): It's been a long wait, but we finally get closer to the end of this series with this release.
- Green Acres - The Complete Fifth Season (DVD, $29.93): Although the complete series is available, this DVD set is now available for those who wish to collect individual seasons.
WEEKLY PLANNER (FEBRUARY 24 - MARCH 2)
- The date for Tuesday is 2/27, so why not enjoy a 227 marathon? You can on Antenna TV.
- The Olympics are coming to an end, so everything will be returning to normal by Monday, including the debut of Living Biblically on Monday on CBS.
- The Voice returns to NBC on Monday as well.
- Of course, there is a binge every weekend on Decades, and this week, they've got The Mod Squad.
- Speaking of Decades, they'll be airing a "mini binge" of Diff'rent Strokes again on Tuesday morning of episodes featuring the character Sam, for reasons that aren't completely clear.
