Week 30 TV Ratings and Analysis; How the Sitcoms Did

2016-17 Week 30 TV Ratings (first four nights Mon-Thu):

Households: #1. CBS 4.15/8 rating/share (-33% in rating from first four nights week 29); #2. NBC 3.38/6 (-12%); #3. ABC 3.38/6 (-6%); #4. Fox 2.11/4 (even); #5. The CW 0.58/1 (-12%).
Total Viewers: #1. CBS 6.523 million (-36% from first four nights week 29); #2. NBC 5.240 million (-13%); #3. ABC 5.076 million (-8%); #4. Fox 3.342 million (-1%); #5. The CW 0.902 million (-13%).
Adults 18-49: #1. ABC 1.08/4 rating/share (-11% in rating from first four nights week 29); #2. NBC 1.06/4 (-15%); #3. CBS 1.06/4 (-15%); #4. Fox 0.99/4 (-7%); #5. The CW 0.28/1 (-18%)

We have previous week's final ratings, Week 29 (4/3/17-4/9/17, LIVE+SD). CBS won the week in A18-49 and did a 1.65 rating boosted by NCAA Championship Game. NBC was #2 with a 1.05 rating. ABC was #3 with a 0.98 rating, while Fox was #4 with a 0.78 rating Among total viewers, CBS was #1 with 9.095 million, with NBC #2 at 5.363 million. ABC was #3 with 4.425 million and Fox at #4 with 2.483 million.

For season to-date (9/19/16-4/13/17, LIVE+SD), NBC is 1 in A18-49 with a 1.79 rating, followed by Fox at #2 with a 1.68 rating thanks to the Super Bowl and also heavily inflated by a high 7-game World Series. Without those 2 events, Fox would be #4. CBS is #3 with a 1.50 rating and ABC at #4 with a 1.23 rating. Among total viewers it is CBS #1 at 8.233 million, followed by the dropping NBC at #2 with 7.081 million. Super Bow/World Series boosted Fox still at #3 with 5.401 million as ABC is #4 with 5.069 million.
