Young & Hungry Returns Tonight, Rachael Ray Guests in March; Starz Comedy Adds More Star Power in Season 2
Season 3 of sitcom Young & Hungry premieres tonight (Wednesday, February 3) at 8:00pm EST on Freeform, but we have more news. Culinary superstar Rachael Ray will guest star as herself on Freeform's hit comedy, Young & Hungry. As Gabi (Emily Osment) copes with her complicated love life, she and Sofia (Aimee Carrero) throw themselves into an exciting new career opportunity. With a little help from Elliot (Rex Lee), popular television host Rachael Ray learns about the girls' venture and invites them on her show. Gabi is thrilled to finally meet her idol, but the interview takes a turn when Rachael reveals some surprising news about Josh (Jonathan Sadowski).
Of course the season premiere of Baby Daddy will follow tonight at 8:30pm following Young & Hungry. Rachael's episode will air in March. The series stars Emily Osment, Jonathan Sadowski, Aimee Carrero, Kym Whitley and Rex Lee.
The STARZ Original series Blunt Talk began production in Los Angeles on the 10-episode second season of the half-hour scripted comedy series from Media Rights Capital (MRC) and executive produced by Seth MacFarlane, Jonathan Ames, Tristram Shapeero, and Stephanie Davis. Lesley Ann Warren (In Plain Sight) has joined the expanding guest cast roster this season in the role of Cornelia, a long lost love of Walter Blunt. Mary Holland and Karan Soni who star as Shelly and Martin, segment producers on Blunt's show, are now series regulars. The series will return this Fall on STARZ.
In season 2, Walter Blunt and his team are on top of the network ratings when Walter runs into an old flame, in town to investigate a conspiracy involving one of Los Angeles' most crucial environmental threats. Rosalie, Jim, Celia, Martin, and Shelly (with all their various neuroses intact) are by Walter's side as he delves into his past, which leads him into a web of intrigue affecting the future of LA.
The cast is led by Patrick Stewart (X-Men franchise, Ted) in the role of Walter Blunt, Jacki Weaver (Silver Linings Playbook) as Rosalie, Blunt's tough and motherly producer-manager and Adrian Scarborough (The King's Speech) as Harry, Blunt's manservant. Dolly Wells (Doll & Em) and Timm Sharp (Enlightened) star as Celia and Jim, Blunt's senior producers along with Mary Holland (Silicon Valley) and Karan Soni (Safety Not Guaranteed) who star as Shelly and Martin, segment producers on Blunt's show.
Romany Malco (Think Like A Man, Top Five) returns in his recurring role of Bob Gardner, the general manager of the news station while musician and actor Moby, Jason Schwartzman (The Grand Budapest Hotel, Bored to Death), Fred Melamed (Casual), Golden Brooks (Girlfriends), Erik Griffin (Workaholics), Brett Gelman (Another Period) and Brent Spiner (Star Trek: The Next Generation) continue to make guest star appearances in the series.
