Week 9 TV Ratings and Analysis; How the Sitcoms Did
2015-16 Week 9 TV Ratings (first four nights Mon-Thu):
Households: #1. CBS 5.74/10 rating/share (+1% in rating from first four nights week 8); #2. NBC 4.84/8 (-7%); #3. ABC 4.58/8 (+3%); #4. Fox 2.72/4 (-1%); #5. The CW 1.04/2 (-3%).
Total Viewers: #1. CBS 9.181 million (+1% from first four nights week 8); #2. NBC 7.677 million (-8%); #3. ABC 7.042 million (+3%); #4. Fox 4.405 million (-1%); #5. The CW 1.610 million (-4%).
Adults 18-49: #1. NBC 1.84/6 rating/share (-13% in rating from first four nights week 8); #2. ABC 1.73/6 (+5%); #3. CBS 1.67/5 (-2%); #4. Fox 1.47/5 (+3%); #5. The CW 0.65/2 (-6%).
We have previous week's final ratings, Week 8 (11/9/15-11/15/15, LIVE+SD). NBC won the week in A18-49, thanks to SNF of course, as NBC did a 2.35 rating. CBS was #2 with a 1.99 rating. ABC was #3 with a 1.58 rating, while Fox was #4 with a 1.19 rating. Among total viewers, CBS was #1 with 10.234 million, with NBC #2 at 8.331 million. ABC was #3 with 6.198 million and Fox at #4 with just 3.615 million.
For season to-date (9/21/15-11/19/15, LIVE+SD), NBC is #1 in A18-49 with a 2.36 rating, followed by CBS at #2 with a 2.07 rating. Fox at #3 with a 1.75 rating and ABC at #4 with a 1.63 rating. Among total viewers it is CBS #1 at 10.178 million, followed by NBC at #2 with 8.363 million, ABC #3 with 6.473 million and Fox #4 with 5.478 million.
