Are We There Yet? Hits for TBS; 2010 TCA Awards Nominees

TBS's new original comedy series Are We There Yet? debuted last Wednesday (June 2) in a big way with 3.19 million viewers (1.8/3 HH rating) and a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating for its 9 p.m. (ET/PT) premiere episode, according to final data from Nielsen Media Research. The second episode at 9:30 p.m. built on that success, with 3.34 million viewers (1.9/3 HH rating) and a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating, ranking it as ad-supported cable's top sitcom telecast for the year to date. The 9 p.m. episode ranked a close second. Are We There Yet? also performed well among adults 18-34, with the episodes each scoring more than 700,000 viewers in the demo.
Back-to-back episodes of Meet the Browns were next in the 10pm hour following Are We There Yet?. The first all-new Meet the Browns episode did solid with 3.0 million viewers (1.7/3 HH rating) and a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating. A second episode at 10:30pm did a bit below that with 2.81 million viewers (1.6/3 HH rating) but held on to 100% of its 1.2/4 adults 18-49 rating.

The Television Critics Association (TCA) has announced nominations for its 2010 TCA Awards. The 2010 TCA Awards recognizes outstanding television programming in the 2009-2010 season, honoring both actors and producers in a variety of categories including news and information, youth, drama and comedy achievements.
The winners of the 26th Annual TCA Awards will be announced at the invitation-only presentation, Saturday, July 31, 2010 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, as part of the group's bi-annual industry conference. Parenthood's Dax Shepard serves as host for the non-televised event.
