TBS' original sitcom Sullivan & Son is rolling out the red carpet for big guest stars when it returns for its third season this June. Kunal Nayyar (The Big Bang Theory), Ken Jeong (The Hangover movies, Community) and Billy Gardell (Mike & Molly) are set to return to TBS's hit original series Sullivan & Son during the show's upcoming third season. Last year marked the first appearances on the show for Nayyar and Jeong. Gardell has appeared in both previous seasons. Sullivan & Son, which ranked as one of basic cable's Top 10 original sitcoms of 2013 with adults 18-49, is set to launch its third season with back-to-back episodes Tuesday, June 24, at 10pm (ET/PT). Popular comedian Steve Byrne stars as Steve Sullivan, a former corporate attorney who left New York to run the family bar with his parents in Pittsburgh. Sullivan & Son's outstanding ensemble cast includes Dan Lauria (The Wonder Years), Christine Ebersole (Royal Pains, Amadeus), Brian Doyle-Murray (Groundhog Day, The Middle), Jodi Long (Beginners), Valerie Azlynn (Tropic Thunder), Vivian Bang (Yes Man), Owen Benjamin (The House Bunny) Ahmed Ahmed (Iron Man) and Roy Wood Jr. (Last Comic Standing).

In season three of Sullivan & Son, Kunal Nayyar will return as Neal, the ultimate ladies man who tried to steal a few hearts during the bar's Ladies Night at the bar last season. Ken Jeong will return as Jason, Steve's brother-in-law whose workaholic ways were putting strain on his marriage... that is until he let loose at the bar. Billy Gardell will return for the third consecutive season as Lyle Winkler, a quirky comic-book collector and youth hockey coach who has constant run-ins with Steve and the bar regulars.

Recently launched IDW Entertainment, along with George Lopez and his Travieso Production Company, announced they are developing Wormwood as an animated television series based on the acclaimed IDW comics, created by artist Ben Templesmith. David M. Stern (Ugly Americans, Simpsons) has been tapped to write the pilot episode and serve as an executive producer on the series. Circle of Confusion (Walking Dead), will also executive produce. IDW Entertainment will fund development of the series, which will soon be marketed to the networks. Wormwood follows the paranormal and obscene adventures of an inter-dimensional worm with the ability to animate corpses as host bodies. Wormwood blends horror and humor, crafting a dark tale perfectly suited for the world of animation. George Lopez can be currently seen on his new FX sitcom Saint George every Thursday at 9 on FX. Lifetime has announced its September schedule and there aren't many changes. Will & Grace is missing from the schedule starting Sept. 3, but as we announced a few years ago, it is coming to WE tv this fall. We'll have more on that soon, but WE tv doesn't have exclusive rights. After a movie marathon on Labor Day (Sept. 2), Lifetime's daily schedule kicks-off on Sept. 3 with back-to-back episodes of The New Adventures of Old Christine at 8am & 8:30am. Then from 9am-12pm, it's three hours of Frasier. At 12pm and 12:30pm, Lifetime will air two episodes of How I Met Your Mother. From 1pm-4pm, Grey's Anatomy is back to three episodes a day. Then at 4pm & 5pm, Wife Swap is back-to-back leading into the rotating block of shows from 6-8pm. On Mondays, Trading Spouses will air, while on Tuesdays encores of original reality series will air. On Wednesdays, Lifetime will air Unsolved Mysteries, while on Thursdays they air more Wife Swap. And on Fridays, marathons of Hoarders will air from 6pm-3am. In primetime, we have a mix of movies and original series, and the same goes true in late night with encores of those. On weekends, it is all original series originals or encores and movies. Except on Saturdays at 11am we have Unsolved Mysteries and in the late night from 4-5am an hour of Old Christine.

Highlights wise, we have original series finales and premieres. The season finale of Dance Moms is Sept. 10 at 8pm, with a reunion special the following week. The second season of Lifetime's popular series, Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition is set to come back on Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 9pm. Another reality series will have its season finale as well, as Double Divas concludes its season on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 10pm. Project Runway won't conclude its season until Thursday, Oct. 14 from 9-10:30pm. Struggling reality series Supermarket Superstars will have its finale on Thursday, Sept. 26 from 10:30-11:30pm. Scripted series wise, red-hot freshman drama Devious Maids has its season finale on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 10pm. The back half of the fifth season of Drop Dead Diva will return on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 9pm leading into the new drama The Witches of East End at 10pm. And finally, original movies will air Saturdays at 8pm, as in September the stars include Kelly Rutherford, Natasha Henstridge, Peyton List, Gail O'Grady, Julie Benz, Jamie Luner, Bruce Thomas and Max Carver. TBS has ordered third seasons of its hit original sitcoms Sullivan & Son, starring popular comedian Steve Byrne, and Men at Work, starring Danny Masterson, Michael Cassidy, Adam Busch, Meredith Hagner and James Lesure. TBS has also ordered a second season of the hit series Deal With It, from Howie Mandel's Alevy Productions. TBS has ordered 13 episodes of Sullivan & Son, which airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. (ET/PT) and is set to wrap up its second season Aug. 22. The series is averaging 2.4 million viewers in Live + 7 delivery this summer, including 1.3 million adults 18-49. Season three of Sullivan & Son is slated to launch in summer 2014. TBS has also ordered 10 episodes for the third season of its popular workplace sitcom Men at Work. This past spring, the second season of the series averaged 1.9 million viewers and 1.2 million adults 18-49. The third season of Men at Work is slated to launch in early 2014. And TBS has renewed Deal With It with a 10-episode order for season two. Hosted by Theo Von (Primetime in No Time, Last Comic Standing), season one of the series has averaged 2.3 million viewers in Live + 7 delivery, including 1.2 million adults 18-49. From Howie Mandel's Alevy Productions, the second season is slated to launch in 2014.

TBS's renewals come as the network prepares to launch three new series during the second half of 2013. Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), D.L. Hughley and Michael Ian Black will headline the new game show Trust Me, I'm a Game Show Host. TBS will expand its late-night lineup with the The Pete Holmes Show, which will follow Conan Monday-Thursday at midnight (ET/PT), beginning Oct. 28. And in November, TBS will launch Ground Floor, the new sitcom created by Emmy(R) nominees Bill Lawrence (Cougar Town, Scrubs) and Greg Malins (2 Broke Girls, How I Met Your Mother), and starring Skylar Astin (Pitch Perfect), Briga Heelan (Cougar Town) and John C. McGinley (Scrubs). Ground Floor is set to premiere Thursday, Nov. 14, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT).

As announced back in 2011, MeTV Network will get rights to many series from NBCUniversal Television Distribution. Some series have already started airing but three more are coming this spring and are "new to Me." Leave it to Beaver, Dragnet and Adam-12 will make their way from Antenna TV to MeTV effective Monday, May 6, part of their "It's New To Me" line-up! Both series will be leaving Antenna TV later this month, as Antenna TV starts a new schedule on April 29 (which we will post shortly, so stay tuned). On MeTV, Leave it to Beaver will air weekdays at 9:00am & 9:30am ET, replacing Daniel Boone. The other two additions will be paired in the 4pm hour with Dragnet at 4pm ET and Adam-12 at 4:30pm ET, replacing The Wild Wild West. Both series will lead-into similar style series Emergency! at 5pm, which was already on the schedule. That's it, no other schedule changes will be made. This means The Wild Wild West and Daniel Boone will be off the line-up this spring. In more MeTV news, his weekend, MeTV will pay tribute to the beloved actress and singer, Annette Funicello. On Sunday, April 14, from 1pm-3pm, Eastern/Pacific, MeTV will air select episodes of Make Room For Daddy. Before she was queen of the beach, she was Danny Thomas' foreign exchange student on Make Room for Daddy. "A Tribute To Annette Funicello" will feature episodes with Annette Funicello in her role as foreign exchange student, Gina Minelli. Sunday's tribute includes several of her classic TV appearances on the sitcom. This tribute carries on the MeTV tradition of paying homage to the lives and careers of classic TV stars. Episodes airing are "Gina From Italy," "Gina's First Date," "Frankie Laine Sings for Gina," and "Gina for President." Make Room for Daddy regularly airs on MeTV every weekday mornings at 5:30am ET.

TBS has announced a premiere date for season two of original sitcom Sullivan & Son. The sitcom was ordered for a 10-episode second season after finishing its first season last summer, which also had 10 episodes. Sullivan & Son will have its season premiere on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 10pm and will continue to air Thursdays at 10, like last summer. The sitcom will premiere a week after the season finale of fellow original sitcom Men at Work, which will wrap up its 10-episode second season on June 6. Men at Work had its season premiere last Thursday (April 4). In other TBS comedy news, Cougar Town had its one-hour season finale last night (April 9). Back to Sullivan & Son, series star Steve Byrne suffered an injury to his face recently that led his jaw being wired shut for six weeks. So a shutdown of production on Season 2 for the series was ordered until June, but TBS still plans on premiering the sitcom on June 13 as some of the episodes have already taped. TBS's Sullivan & Son stars Steve Byrne as a corporate attorney who finds new life behind the bar when he leaves his Manhattan lifestyle and moves to Pittsburgh to take over his parents' pub. Byrne is joined by a stellar ensemble cast that includes Christine Ebersole, Brian Doyle-Murray, Jodi Long, Valerie Azlynn, Vivian Bang, Owen Benjamin and Dan Lauria.

TBS has announced premiere dates for two of its original series set to hit the air in April. The network's hit original sitcom Men at Work is scheduled to launch its second season Thursday, April 4, at 10pm (ET/PT) following the conclusion of TBS comedy reality series King of the Nerds (which actually finales on March 7). And TBS's new competition series Who Gets the Last Laugh? is set to premiere Tuesday, April 16, at 10pm (ET/PT), as Cougar Town has its season finale the week before on April 9. Cougar Town will actually have a two-episode season finale on that date from 10-11pm. Returning for its second season, TBS's hit original sitcom Men at Work stars Danny Masterson (That '70s Show, Yes Man), Michael Cassidy (The O.C.), Adam Busch (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Meredith Hagner (Royal Pains) and James Lesure (Las Vegas). The series centers on four buddies who help each other navigate the treacherous waters of work, friendship and women. Men at Work comes to TBS from Sony Pictures Television. The series was created by Breckin Meyer (TNT's Franklin & Bash). The series has been ordered for another 10-episode run, like in its first season last summer. No word yet on when TBS will air the second season of Sullivan & Son, but it is likely they will start that series' second season once Men at Work wraps its 10-episode run this June. As for Who Gets the Last Laugh?, TBS's new hidden-camera competition series, hosted by Donald Faison (Scrubs, The Exes), will pit some of the industry's best-known comedians and comedy actors against one another to see who can pull the most outrageous practical jokes. Among the comedians who have lined up to participate are Andy Dick (NewsRadio), Tom Green (The Tom Green Show), D.L. Hughley (The Hughleys), Chris Kattan (The Middle, Saturday Night Live), Bam Margera (Jackass), Bill Bellamy (Any Given Sunday), Charlie Murphy (Chappelle's Show), Cheri Oteri (Saturday Night Live), Alan Thicke (Growing Pains), Nicole Sullivan (MADtv), Kunal Nayyar (The Big Bang Theory) and Finesse Mitchell (Saturday Night Live). Who Gets the Last Laugh? is produced by Jason Goldberg and Ashton Kutcher's Katalyst in association with Warner Horizon Television. Katalyst co-founder Jason Goldberg serves as executive producer and showrunner. TBS has ordered 9 episodes of the series.

After a 15-episode run in 2011-12, Reimagine That! with Chris Mann is back for an all-new season of fun with classic TV stars! Today we will reveal the INSP Fall 2012 schedule! INSP has acquired the exclusive cable rights to The High Chaparral from CBS Television Distribution and also a multi-year agreement with NBCUniversal Cable and New Media Distribution for the exclusive basic cable rights for The Virginian. As the exclusive cable home of The High Chaparral and other western series, INSP is proud to offer a new generation of Americans the opportunity to fall in love with the characters and stories that made The High Chaparral a western classic. Launching on Saturday, September 15, viewers can enjoy an all-day marathon beginning at 1:00pm ET through 2:00am ET. The series joins the Saddle Up Saturday line-up beginning September 29 at 6pm, 7pm, and 12am ET and also is scheduled to air in the Monday-Friday lineup at 4pm & 1am ET. As for The Virginian, the launch will be celebrated with a 50th anniversary all-day marathon of the 90-minute series on Saturday, September 22 beginning at 1pm ET through 2:00am ET. The series joins the regular Saturday lineup on September 29, the same day as The High Chaparral. It will air Saturdays at 1pm, 2:30pm, 9pm & 10:30pm ET.

As for the rest of the schedule, we still will have classics The Big Valley, Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman, The Waltons, Little House on the Prairie and sitcoms The Brady Bunch and Happy Days all on weekdays. The Brady Bunch will be moving to the 12pm hour every weekday, as its current 5pm hour will be another hour of Happy Days. That sitcom will remain at 6pm as well. The rest of the weekday line-up is the same except for the addition of The High Chaparral. On Saturdays, besides The High Chaparral and The Virginian, we have The Big Valley at 4pm, 5pm, & 1am and Bonanza at 8pm. Those two series will join the new additions to make up the new Saddle Up Saturday schedule. Sundays will still have movies starting at 7pm through 1am, with Dr. Quinn at 1am.

Just like how Men at Work was renewed for a second season, now TBS has ordered a second year for its second original comedy! TBS has ordered a second season of the popular new sitcom Sullivan & Son. Currently airing Thursdays at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), the comedy is averaging more than 2.5 million viewers in its first season and ranks as one of the Top 25 new summer series on television. TBS has ordered 10 episodes for the second season, which is slated to launch in 2013, just like Men at Work. Two more episodes remain on the first season order and will air tomorrow (Sept. 6) and next Thursday (Sept. 13). In addition to the Sullivan & Son and Men at Work second seasons, TBS's slate of original series includes Cougar Town, the popular comedy that's moving to TBS, with the premiere set for early 2013.

Then today, The CW will be up. Breakfast will be sponsored by the summer reality series Oh Sit! with Jamie Kennedy. After that, there will a panel with the cast and crew of the new drama Arrow, which is coming this fall. Then it is time for the executive session with Mark Pedowitz, President, The CW. If there is anything of note, we will come back and post it here. After that, it's time for more series panels. We have one for the new drama Emily Owens M.D., which stars Mamie Gummer. And finally, the last panel will be for the new version of Beauty and the Best. That concludes The CW, as in the afternoon Showtime will take over with panels for Weeds, Dexter and Homeland.

Weigel Broadcasting Co. and Hearst Television announce an affiliation agreement in which five additional Hearst markets will be adding the MeTV Network to its local stations. Joining MeTV will be WCVB, Boston; KCRA, Sacramento; WBAL, Baltimore; KOCO, Oklahoma City and WXII, Greensboro. This brings the total of Hearst's MeTV Network affiliates to 13. In addition, Hearst has extended its commitment to the network with the renewal of its existing nine MeTV affiliate agreements to 2015. As you know, MeTV features a wide range of programming which audiences and advertisers find comfortable and engaging. Me-TV's library includes almost 100 series from Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution, CBS Television Distribution, NBCUniversal Television as well as many independent series owners and producers. MeTV's line-up include some of the most beloved television programs ever produced, including: M*A*S*H, The Brady Bunch, Green Acres, The Beverly Hillbillies, Perry Mason, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Dick Van Dyke Show, Gunsmoke, That Girl, I Love Lucy, and Hawaii Five-O series.

And finally, the second week (third episode) of TBS's popular new sitcom Sullivan & Son drew 2.5 million viewers on Thursday night, matching previous week's series launch while also outperforming previous Thursday's special two-episode premiere average by +9%. Among TBS' targeted demos, Thursday night's episode of Sullivan & Son brought in 615,000 adults 18-34 (+15% vs. previous week's two-episode average) and 1.2 million adults 18-49 (+5%), with a 0.9 adults 18-49 rating (tying MTV's Snooki & JWOWW head-to-head).
The telecast of Sullivan & Son's third episode also drew +22% more viewers, +35% more adults 18-34 and +15% more adults 18-49 (grew from a 0.8 to a 0.9 adults 18-49 rating) than the series' second episode (previous Thursday at 10:30pm). Sullivan & Son airs Thursdays at 10pm (ET/PT) on TBS, which episode four airing this Thursday (August 2). Ten episodes in all will air, with the finale scheduled for Sept. 13.

We mentioned a few months ago that Nick at Nite had ordered 20 episodes of original comedy Daddy's Home starring Scott Baio, now we have some more details! The upcoming sitcom has started production and taping began on July 13. A multi-camera, half-hour comedy for Nick at Nite, Daddy's Home follows David Hobbs (Baio) an actor who, after ten years of starring as America's favorite TV dad, becomes a stay-at-home father to honor the deal he made with his soap star wife so that she may return to the limelight. We have some casting news, too. Joining Baio will be veteran TV star Mark Curry (Hangin' with Mr. Cooper), in his return to TV. Other stars on the series include the rest of the Hobbs family: Alanna Ubach, Ryan Whitney Newman, Jackson Brundage, Bailey Michelle Brown and Ramy Youssef. Directing will be Andrew Weyman. Creators/executive producers are Tina Albanese and Patrick Labyorteaux. More executive producers are Scott Baio, Nat Bernstein, Mitchel Katlin, Eric Bischoff and Jason Hervey.

The sitcom comes from Bischoff-Hervey Entertainment and will premiere on Nick at Nite this Fall! Stay tuned for a premiere date and much more information as soon as we get it. The cable portion of the 2012 TCA summer press tour will be held Aug. 1-3, so we could have some more details by then on this sitcom. The series is being taped on stage 19 at Paramount Studios in Hollywood, CA. That is the same stage where Scott Baio taped Happy Days (Chachi!) in the '70s! Waa waa waa!

Last Thursday (July 19), 2.5 million total viewers cozied up to the bar for the series premiere of TBS's new sitcom Sullivan & Son. The series, starring popular comedian Steve Byrne, also nabbed 1.3 million viewers adults 18-49 (1.0 adults 18-49 rating) and 612,000 viewers adults 18-34. TBS followed the series premiere with a second episode, which averaged more than 2 million viewers, 1.0 million viewers adults 18-49 (0.8 adults 18-49 rating) and 456,000 viewers adults 18-34. In comparison, the TBS premiere of original sitcom Men at Work, which was renewed for a second season, opened similarly (but a tad higher) with 2.65 million total viewers for its premiere episode on May 24, along with 1.63 million viewers adults 18-49 (1.3 adults 18-49 rating) and 851,000 viewers adults 18-34. If Sullivan & Son remains steady in the ratings, it will likely be picked up for a second season as well. But it is still too early to tell.
