HBO's Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness Details; Netflix's Little House on the Prairie Trailer

HBO has released the official trailer for the original limited sketch comedy series Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness. The seven-episode series debuts Friday, June 26 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and will be available to stream on HBO Max. New episodes will debut weekly leading up to the season finale on August 7.

Those who don’t know history... are doomed to watch Larry David repeat it. In addition to David, the series will feature select Curb Your Enthusiasm actors and noteworthy guest stars. The series is written and executive produced by Larry David and co-creator Jeff Schaffer, who also serves as director. Executive produced by Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Ethan Lewis, and Vinnie Malhotra for Higher Ground.

The Ingalls' journey begins. Little House on the Prairie, based on the beloved books, premieres July 9, only on Netflix.

ABC's Scrubs Returns Big; Netflix's Little House on the Prairie Renewed for Season 2

ABC's Scrubs returned to the network in fine form, earning a total cross-platform audience of 11.36 million based on viewing and linear encores through five days on ABC, Hulu, Hulu on Disney+ and digital platforms. As J.D. and Turk scrubbed in together for the first time in a long time, Scrubs delivered the best ABC comedy episode and top ABC series debut overall on streaming in over a year, based on views over five days on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ - since the series premiere of Shifting Gears on 1/8/25.

On linear over three days, Scrubs was the top comedy telecast among Adults 18-49 (0.74 rating) on any network (excluding post-NFL telecasts) in over a year - since 1/8/25 (with the premiere of Shifting Gears and the Abbott Elementary/It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia crossover episode).

Coming up tonight (Wednesday, March 4, at 8 p.m. on ABC, streaming next day on Hulu), Elliot faces a dilemma with a stubborn patient, while J.D. discovers online doctor reviews. Meanwhile, Turk teaches his interns about new surgical technology and unexpected life lessons.

Part family drama, part survival tale, and part origin story, the series will offer a kaleidoscopic view of the struggles and triumphs of those who shaped the American West. Awesomeness TV has acquired the rights to That Friend, the debut audiobook created by rising comedian Sabrina Brier. Set against the vibrant, Gen Z-driven energy of New York City, the upcoming series will follow a 20-something aspiring influencer as she navigates the chaos of building her podcast while balancing life with her three best friends, coping with a dwindling bank account, and chasing her dreams of making it big. That Friend, the series, is based on Brier's audiobook, released recently by Simon & Schuster. Awesomeness TV serves as executive producer and the studio for the project.

Sabrina Brier is an actress, writer, and comedian known for her wildly popular internet content (her top TikTok video nearing 15 million views). Brier has been named on The Hollywood Reporter's "The Creators A-List," Vulture's "Comedians You Should Know", Variety's "Power of New York" list, Rolling Stone's "Creators You Need to Know" and has been featured in The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, and graced the cover of Paper Magazine. Brier recently appeared on the Emmy Award-winning series Abbott Elementary and has performed her live comedy in some of New York's most iconic venues. The multihyphenate recently performed as part of Netflix's It's a Joke Festival in Los Angeles. Previously, Brier served as a writer's assistant for Hank Steinberg on the ABC Drama Series he created, For Life. She also worked as both writer's assistant and actress on Steven Soderbergh's web series COMMAND Z. Her original pilot, Divine, was recognized as Top 25 Best Pilots of 2021 by Roadmap Writers. A native of Connecticut, Sabrina Brier attended Smith College.

Little House on the Prairie Big 5-0 Stunt on COZI TV; Netflix Orders Tires Starring Shane Gillis

Starting on Friday, March 1, COZI TV will embark on a month-long celebration of Little House on the Prairie in recognition its 50th anniversary with a special airing of 50 favorite episodes from the iconic nine-season series. Viewers can immerse themselves in the timeless tales of Laura and the rest of the Ingalls family during the show's regular scheduled timeslots, weekdays at 9AM/8C, 10AM/9C, and 11AM/10C (check local listings). Little House on the Prairie has been part of COZI TV's programming lineup since 2016.

Based on the beloved children's book series by Laura Ingalls Wilder, Little House on the Prairie captured the hearts of audiences with its storytelling and memorable characters. The show starred Melissa Gilbert, Karen Grassle and Michael Landon, who also directed the original pilot movie that first aired March 30, 1974, on NBC. The series then began its original nine-year run on NBC with the first season premiering in September of 1974. In addition to the month-long on-air celebration, COZI TV will also serve as a media sponsor for the Little House on the Prairie 50th Anniversary Cast Reunion & Festival presented by the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce from March 22 to 24 in Simi Valley, Calif. – the very site where the show's exterior scenes were filmed. The festival promises an unforgettable experience for fans, featuring recreated facades of the iconic buildings from the town of Walnut Grove, special activities, and cast presentations commemorating the series' enduring legacy. Part of the celebration will include COZI TV produced special cast interviews that will run in the Walnut Grove Cinema during the festival and will later appear on-air and on COZI TV’s social channels.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and engage with beloved cast members, including Melissa Gilbert, Karen Grassle, Alison Arngrim, Dean Butler, Linwood Boomer, Charlotte Stewart, Bonnie Bartlett, Pamela Roylance, Ketty Lester, Patrick Labyourteaux, and Rachel Lindsay Greenbush.

Netflix announced an extended partnership with beloved comedian Shane Gillis. This includes a six-episode acquisition of Gillis' new scripted comedy series, Tires, which will premiere on May 23. Gillis stars in the series, serves as an executive producer, is a writer and co-creator. Netflix also ordered a new stand-up special from Gillis. His 2023 special, Beautiful Dogs, reached the Netflix Top 10 in five countries and spent two weeks in the US Top 10 list. Additionally, Gillis is performing two live shows at the 2024 Netflix is a Joke Fest in Los Angeles: May 4 at the Greek Theater and May 8 at the Kia Forum.

In the series, Will (Steven Gerben), the nervous and unqualified heir to an auto repair chain, attempts to turn his father's business around despite constant torture from his cousin and now employee, Shane (Shane Gillis). The series is directed by McKeever. Gillis, Gerben and McKeever are the creators, writers and executive producers. Tires also stars Chris O'Connor, Kilah Fox and Stavros Halkias, with guest appearances by Andrew Schulz. Brandon James is an executive producer for Rough House; Brian Stern and Kenneth Slotnick are executive producers for AGI Entertainment Media & Management. Becky Astphan is an executive producer.

COZI TV's A Very COZI Christmas Schedule; Young Sheldon to End This Season on CBS

COZI TV's winter holiday-themed broadcast schedule will start airing every Monday in December. "A Very COZI Christmas" special holiday episodes will start on Monday, December 4 with episodes from the series Bones, Frasier, Little House on the Prairie, Monk, Roseanne and The Nanny. COZI TV will also air a special Hanukkah themed episode from The Nanny on December 7 at 11:00 PM for the start of the Hanukkah holiday and it will re-air on Monday, December 11:00 PM (check local listings). On December 25, Christmas Day, a special all-day marathon of Christmas episodes will run featuring Little House on the Prairie, Bones, Frasier, Roseanne and The Nanny. CBS announced that the critically acclaimed comedy series Young Sheldon will air a one-hour series finale on Thursday, May 16 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT). Television's top comedy will sign off after the upcoming seventh season on the Network. As previously announced, the new season will premiere on Thursday, Feb. 15 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT). From creators, executive producers and writers Chuck Lorre and Steven Molaro, Young Sheldon centers on Sheldon Cooper, a once-in-a-generation mind capable of advanced mathematics and science, which isn't always helpful in a land where church and football are king. And while the vulnerable, gifted and somewhat naïve Sheldon deals with the world, his very normal family must find a way to deal with him. For 12 years on The Big Bang Theory, audiences came to know the iconic, eccentric and extraordinary Sheldon Cooper. NBCUniversal to Launch FAST Channels, Sitcoms & More; Tracy Morgan's Max Special Debuts Aug. 17

NBCUniversal announced new free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) linear content offerings from across the NBCU Television & Streaming portfolio and NBCUniversal Global Distribution library. For the first time ever, viewers can access programming across all NBCUniversal genres centered on popular titles and categories available anytime at no additional cost. Curated with content from past seasons of iconic series including Saturday Night Live, The Real Housewives franchises, Top Chef, and Keeping Up with the Kardashians, along with hit library television series including Little House on the Prairie, Murder, She Wrote and Saved by the Bell, along with genre-based sitcoms, action, crime, westerns, and monster movie content will also launch as dedicated FAST channels.

NBCUniversal has inked agreements with Amazon Freevee and Xumo Play for the entire FAST content portfolio. In honor of Mother's Day, COZI TV, part of NBCUniversal Local, is announcing a special Little House on the Prairie marathon set to air on Sunday, May 14, starting at 11:00 AM EST. Exclusively on COZI, viewers will be treated to the Little House on the Prairie "Ma-A-Thon" special hosted by one of the show's stars, actress Karen Grassle – Caroline "Ma" Ingalls. Grassle will share personal anecdotes and reflections from her time on the series to introduce each episode. It quickly becomes clear that though the protagonists are creatures, they have a lot of humanity themselves. Featuring an all-star voice cast - including Nick Kroll, Maya Rudolph and David Thewlis reprising their Big Mouth roles as well as Aidy Bryant, Brandon Kyle Goodman, Keke Palmer, and Randall Park among others - Human Resources is not your normal day at the office. COZI TV Fall 2022 Schedule; FX Announces New Drama Premiere Date for Hulu

A few weeks ago COZI TV announced their new additions for Fall, now we have the rest of the lineup that will start Monday (Oct. 3). Much of the weekday afternoon lineup has changed due to Monk and Bones being added, and Las Vegas being added in late fringe. Amen is completely off the lineup, while Gimme a Break! is now just weekdays 4-5am. Also, 3rd Rock from the Sun will now air only 3-4am, but 7 days a week. Weeknight & Sunday night primetime sitcoms stay, with Frasier from 8-10pm, followed by an hour each of Roseanne and The Nanny. Due to all the changes, Little House on the Prairie is now only on Sundays, but from 11am-4pm leading into a block of The Munsters from 4pm-8pm. And finally, Saturday nights got more better with everyone's favorite detective Columbo, now airing from 8pm-12am.

FX's Fleishman Is in Trouble, based on Taffy Brodesser-Akner's critically acclaimed, best-selling novel, will premiere Thursday, November 17 exclusively on Hulu. The premiere will feature the first two episodes of the eight-episode series. A new episode will be available each subsequent Thursday. The series will soon be available on Star+ in Latin America and Disney+ under the Star banner in all other territories. Fleishman Is In Trouble is the story of recently divorced 41-year-old "Toby Fleishman" (Jesse Eisenberg), who dives into the brave new world of app-based dating with the kind of success he never had dating in his youth, before he got married at the tail end of medical school. But just at the start of his first summer of sexual freedom, his ex-wife, "Rachel" (Claire Danes), disappears, leaving him with 11-year-old "Hannah" (Meara Mahoney Gross) and 9-year-old "Solly" (Maxim Swinton) and no hint of where she is or whether she plans to return. As he balances parenting, the return of old friends "Libby" (Lizzy Caplan) and "Seth" (Adam Brody), a potential promotion at the hospital that is a long time coming - and all the eligible women that Manhattan has to offer - he realizes that he'll never be able to figure out what happened to "Rachel" until he can finally face what happened to their marriage in the first place.
