Netflix Renews Ransom Canyon for Season 2; My Life with the Walter Boys First Look for Season 2

Netflix announced the hit modern western drama Ransom Canyon has been renewed for a second season. Ransom Canyon is the latest addition to Netflix's collection of comfort entertainment. A trend that reflects a growing audience preference for easy-to-watch stories, perfect for both solo enjoyment and co-viewing. Netflix is home to a slate of "blue skies" shows, movies and games, offering new seasons of beloved shows such as Virgin River, Sweet Magnolias, The Lincoln Lawyer, and My Life with the Walter Boys, alongside new films like The Wrong Paris and Merry Little Ex-Mas and games like Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit and the upcoming, Spirit Crossing.
Production for season 2 of Ransom Canyon will return to Netflix Studios Albuquerque. The newly expanded studio incorporates four new soundstages and several sustainability features, including onsite solar and battery storage systems, geothermal heating and cooling, all-electric appliances, and fast vehicle chargers. These upgrades aim to reduce the studio's carbon footprint, lower operating costs, enhance energy efficiency, and enable the production of more shows and movies that people love.
In season one, welcome to Ransom Canyon, where love, loss, and loyalty collide beneath the crimson mesas of Texas Hill Country. Three ranching family dynasties are locked in a contest for control of the land, and their lives and legacies are threatened by outside forces intent on destroying their way of life. At the center of it all is stoic rancher Staten Kirkland (Josh Duhamel), who is healing from heartbreaking loss and on a quest for vengeance. Staten's only glimmer of hope rests in the eyes and heart of Quinn O'Grady (Minka Kelly), longtime family friend and owner of the local dance hall. But as the battle to save Ransom wages on, a mysterious cowboy drifts into town, dredging up secrets from the past. Vise tightening, Staten fights to protect the land he calls home - and the only love that can pull him back from the demons that haunt him.

My Life with the Walter Boys retuns! The hit series returns to Netflix this summer. After leaving Silver Falls following Alex's love confession and her kiss with Cole, Jackie Howard spent the summer in New York City. When Katherine convinces her to return to Colorado, Jackie is determined to make amends with Alex and set boundaries with Cole while finding her place within the Walter family. But fitting back in isn't that easy. Alex - who changed a lot over the summer - isn't too thrilled about Jackie's attempts to reconnect, as he's focused on training for a risky rodeo event (and enjoying all of the new attention he's getting). Meanwhile, Cole takes on a new role at school, but when that doesn't quite fill the void left by not playing football, his old ways creep back in and cause drama. As Jackie gains acceptance in Silver Falls while trying to hold onto her Howard identity, she's forced to make a choice that could destroy everything she's worked to rebuild.

The series stars Nikki Rodriguez (Jackie), Sarah Rafferty Katherine), Marc Blucas (George), Noah LaLonde (Cole), Ashby Gentry (Alex), Connor Stanhope (Danny), Johnny Link (Will), Corey Fogelmanis (Nathan), Jaylan Evans (Skylar), Zoë Soul (Hayley), Isaac Arellanes (Isaac), Myles Perez (Lee), Alex Quijano (Richard), Ashley Tavares (Tara), Dean Petriw (Jordan), Alix West Lefler (Parker), Lennix James (Benny), Alisha Newton (Erin), Ellie O'Brien (Grace), Kolton Stewart (Dylan), Mya Lowe (Kiley), Gabrielle Jacinto (Olivia), Jesse Lipscombe (Coach Allen), Nathaniel Arcand (Mato), Natalie Sharp (B.
