FX's Dying for Sex Premieres in April on Hulu; BET+ Announces Lil Kev, Adult Animated Comedy

FX's Dying for Sex, a new limited series starring Michelle Williams, Jenny Slate and an extraordinary cast will premiere on Friday, April 4 on Hulu in the U.S. with all eight episodes available at premiere. Internationally, Dying for Sex will also premiere April 4 with all episodes available exclusively on Disney+. FX's Dying for Sex is inspired by the story of Molly Kochan, originally shared on a Wondery podcast created with her best friend, Nikki Boyer. After Molly (Michelle Williams) receives a diagnosis of Stage IV metastatic breast cancer, she decides to leave her husband, Steve (Jay Duplass) and begins to explore the full breadth and complexity of her sexual desires for the first time in her life.
Gird yourself, Molly has a lot to accomplish in the little time she has left. There's no time for pearl clutching or passing judgement, Molly has no interest in what you think about her proverbial bucket list (btw, this phrase will always provoke an eye roll). She gains the courage to embark on this adventure from her ride or die Nikki (Jenny Slate), a woman whose love and devotion will compel you to pick up the phone and call that friend already! Also joining the cast are Rob Delaney, Kelvin Yu, David Rasche, Esco Jouléy and Sissy Spacek.
BET+ and Hartbeat, announced that Gerald "Slink" Johnson, series regular, and guest stars Jamar Neighbors, Cree Summer, Anjelah Johnson-Reyes, and Patricia "Ms. Pat" Williams have joined the highly anticipated adult animated series Lil Kev, premiering on March 6, 2025, only on BET+. Also set to guest star are Wé Ani, Mo Collins, Affion Crockett, Tyree Elaine, Justin Hires, Rick Ingraham, Jayden Libran, Freddy Lockhart, and Aiko Tanaka.
Set in 1993 North Philadelphia, the adult animated series Lil Kev follows 12-year-old Kevin Hart, whose wild imagination and unshakable optimism constantly collide with his neighborhood's harsh realities. At the same time, his no-nonsense mother Nancy (Sykes) juggles night shifts as an E.R. nurse while waging a one-woman war to keep Kev on track - no easy feat with his mischievous older brother Robert (Neighbors) blazing all the wrong trails, his trainwreck father Henry's outrageous attempts to win Nancy back, and his ex-con uncle Richard Jr.'s (Cole) questionable life advice. Through it all, Lil Kev navigates his rocky upbringing with humor, hustle, and heart, surrounded by the unforgettable characters who will propel him to comedy superstardom.
