- Remember AOL Time Warner? Well, now get ready for Warner Bros. Discovery... if the internet doesn't mock it too much to convince them to scrap the name, anyway. (The Verge)
- One would expect that the top-rated ad-supported series in the 18-49 demographic would be something that airs in primetime, but that's not the case for the 2020-2021 season, as a certain series that airs Saturday nights at 11:29 PM took that instead... for the first time ever after a 46 year run. - Carter Bays, creator of How I Met Your Mother, has been binge-watching the series lately, and seems to want to "redo" some things differently. (Deadline)
- Helen Mirren is set to narrate the upcoming ABC comedy When Nature Calls. (Deadline)
- We're only a few weeks away from Hallmark going all Christmas on us in July, and some of the highlights of that month have been announced. (TV Insider)
- B.J. Thomas, whose voice can be heard in the theme song for Growing Pains, has died. (CNN)
