MeTV Summer 2021 Schedule, Monk Joins Lineup; HBO Max Sets Cast for Period Comedy

MeTV has announced its summer 2021 schedule. There are minor changes to the lineup, with the majority of them happening on Sundays. MeTV will air the Tony Shalhoub series Monk in primetime on Sundays at 8pm and 9pm beginning Sunday, July 18. The series will join the lineup following fellow detective Columbo from 6-8pm to form a detective block. The Gilligan's Island Three-Hour Tour is being cut to a two-hour instead from 2-4pm instead of 2-5pm, as Mama's Family will now move to the earlier 4pm hour. So the only show off the lineup on Sundays is M*A*S*H, but that series still airs weeknights. The Love Boat will now move up to Sundays at 5pm. Back to primetime, The Best of the Ed Sullivan Show and Carol Burnett and Friends will now air in the 10pm hour following Monk. And the final Sunday change is The Honeymooners taking one of the The Twilight Zone half-hours at 12am. The only change to the weekday lineup will be The Carol Burnett Show being swapped out for Carol Burnett & Friends instead at 11pm. View the full MeTV Summer 2021 schedule.
