- This week's big news that has nothing to do with coronavirus is that Shout! Factory (which isn't so much of a physical home media producer anymore, now shifting their focus to streaming and broadcasting rights) has acquired the broadcasting and streaming rights to almost everything from the Stephen J. Cannell library. (Deadline)
- When Schitt's Creek comes to an end next month, there will be an hourlong documentary looking back at the series. (Entertainment Weekly)
- It's a busy season for network to pick up pilots, but now production is being shutdown on pilots, so what does that mean for the networks? (Deadline)
- Talk shows went without an audience for a few days this week, but now they're shutting down completely for a while. (CNN)
- John Krasinski has been tapped to host the next Saturday Night Live episode, which is scheduled to air in two weeks... maybe. (TVLine)
- Earl Pomerantz, who wrote episodes for series including The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Major Dad, and Cheers, has died at age 75. (SitcomsOnline)
