Welcome Back (to School), Kotter Marathon on Antenna TV; Lea Michele Gets ABC Holiday Movie

School is in session at Antenna TV with the "Welcome Back (to School) Kotter" Marathon of Welcome Back, Kotter airing on Saturday, August 17, featuring everyone's favorite teacher, Mr. Kotter and his Sweathog students, led by Vinnie Barbarino (John Travolta). With 18 episodes, Antenna TV's Welcome Back (to School) Kotter Marathon airs on Saturday, August 17 from 1-10pm ET. Welcome Back, Kotter regularly airs on Antenna TV right after school on Weekdays at 3:00pm ET/12:00pm PT. The series is set in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn and starred Gabe Kaplan as a wisecracking high school teacher in charge of a racially and ethnically diverse remedial class called the "Sweathogs." The sitcom aired on ABC from 1975-79 and starring Kaplan, Marcia Strassman, John Sylvester White, Robert Hegyes, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs, Ron Palillo and John Travolta.

ABC announced that it has picked up a special holiday movie Same Time, Next Christmas set to air in December 2019, from Freeform Studios. The movie stars New York Times bestselling author and singer, Lea Michele, who is known for her role as Rachel Berry on the Fox hit series Glee. In Same Time, Next Christmas, Lea Michele will play the lead role of Olivia Henderson, a young woman who met her childhood sweetheart during her family's annual Christmas visit to Hawaii. After being separated by distance and years, the two reunite at the same Hawaii resort years later and the old chemistry between them flares up anew - but circumstances conspire to keep them apart. In addition, Lea Michele is set to release her first Christmas album this coming holiday.
