SitcomsOnline Digest: Reboot of The Flintstones in the Works (Again); Amazon Orders New Comedy Series
- A Seth MacFarlane reboot of The Flintstones didn't quite make it onto the air a few years ago, but it seems another reboot of it is in the works at least. (Hollywood Reporter)
- Amazon has ordered a new Tracy Oliver comedy series, produced by Amy Poehler. (Deadline)
- With all of these new streaming services appearing on the scene, some are no longer relevant, and this week it was announced that the FX Plus streaming service will be discontinued next month. (Variety)
- The dog who played Cheddar on Brooklyn Nine-Nine has died at age 13. (AV Club)
- The days of streaming media being an all you can eat buffet are totally dead now that it has been announced that Netflix, which already lost The Office to NBC's streaming service, will also be losing Friends to WarnerMedia's new HBO Max streaming service. (SitcomsOnline)
