MeTV Network Presents I Dream of Jeannie on Sunday in Tribute to Larry Hagman; Sitcom Stars on Talk Shows (Week of December 3, 2012)
As we still remember the passing of Larry Hagman, we have some more tribute marathon news. The MeTV Network will air four episodes of I Dream of Jeannie this Sunday (Dec. 2) from 6:00-8:00pm ET/PT as part of a tribute to the late actor Larry Hagman, who portrayed the role of Major Anthony Nelson on the hit sitcom that also starred Barbara Eden. The episodes that will air are: "The Lady in the Bottle," "Watch the Birdie," "My Turned on Master" and "The Strongest Man in the World." As we already mentioned, MeToo in Chicago will have an I Dream of Jeannie marathon tomorrow (Saturday, December 1) from 12pm-4pm CT. And earlier this week, MeTV Network aired his guest appearances on The Rockford Files and Night Gallery.
I Dream of Jeannie was last seen nationally on the cable networks WGN America and TV Land. This will be the first time it will air on a national digital broadcast station. Will the sitcom be joining MeTV? We'll let you know, but we can tell you it will be back on TV in late 2013! Stay tuned for continued updates!
