NOTES: In March, while Glee takes a break before its spring semester return, Fox will continue the laughs on Tuesdays with a block of four half-hour comedies:
The night will feature the critically acclaimed Raising Hope, new comedies I Hate My Teenage Daughter (wt) and New Girl (wt), as well as one of the additional comedies in development, including Family Album (working title) and Little in Common (working title). We will let you know which one of the three will be picked-up.
The following drama is in development and slated for midseason:
In addition, Kiefer Sutherland, star of the landmark Emmy Award-winning series 24, returns to Fox in Touch, scheduled to go into pilot production this June.
Fox will also air a 25th Anniversary special on Sunday, April 1, 2012 and they also have a new version of The Flintstones in production for 2013 from the minds of the people who bring you Family Guy, American Dad, and The Cleveland Show.

Discuss Fox's 2011-12 line-up. You'll find the official press release there, too...with more detailed information.

Late on Friday the networks started to hand out series pick-ups to pilots, while canceling some current series. ABC has picked-up eight new dramas and five new comedies, as of now. There could be another show or two still by the time they announce the line-up tomorrow. The comedies that are picked-up are multi-camera comedies Last Man Standing starring Tim Allen and Work It, and single camera comedies Apartment 23, Suburgatory and Man Up which has Teri Polo among the stars. Another multi-camera comedy titled Smothered is still in contention for a pick-up, so ABC would have a total of six new comedies (three of each kind). Among the dramas they picked-up are, Missing starring Ashley Judd, Charlie's Angels with Minka Kelly, Good Christian Belles starring Leslie Bibb, Once Upon a Time from the Lost producers, Pan Am with Christina Ricci, Revenge starring Emily Van Camp, The River from the creators of Paranormal Activity, and Scandal from Shonda Rhimes. Among the current series picked-up (that had not been until now) are comedy Happy Endings, reality series Shark Tank & Secret Millionaire, and drama Body of Proof. All of those shows showed good ratings in the spring. Unfortunately, comedies Mr. Sunshine & Better With You, dramas Detroit 1-8-7, No Ordinary Family, Off the Map, V and the veteran Brothers & Sisters were not renewed for another season and were canceled.
Moving on to CBS, their orders and cancelations are less complete, but we still have some news. They have ordered the multi-camera comedy Two Broke Girls and drama Person of Interest starring Michael Emerson. They still have some official ordering to do on more comedies and dramas. However, their Sarah Michelle Gellar pilot Ringer will not move forward on CBS...but The CW has picked it up! This is one of the biggest surprises of upfront so far, as this show could do wonders for The CW, as Sarah was on The WB on Buffy. Stay tuned. CBS has officially canceled comedies Mad Love, $#*! My Dad Says and drama The Defenders. Jury is still out on Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior. We'll know more on that very soon.

And as we all noticed yesterday, NBC has officially canceled dramas The Event, Law & Order: LA, & Chase, and comedies Outsourced, The Paul Reiser Show & Perfect Couples and reality series America's Next Great Restaurant & School Pride, but Minute To Win It is still in contention for next season. Who Do You Think You Are was renewed sometime back, so that will return likely to Fridays when Chuck concludes.
