Kelly Ripa Named Host of 2007 TV Land Awards; Book Signing for New Norman Lear Book

Kelly Ripa announced yesterday morning on Live! With Regis & Kelly that she has been named host of the 5th Annual TV Land Awards! Hours later TV Land issues a press release confirming that. The awards show will tape on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, CA before premiering on TV Land on Wednesday, April 25 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
The TV Land Awards is the network's fifth annual salute to Classic TV stars, shows and the individuals whose work has endured the test of time. Several awards will be bestowed upon some of television's legendary series' and stars, which the network will announce in the coming weeks. Throughout the ninety-minute telecast, TV Land will feature dozens of celebrated past and present TV performers as well as musical tributes, show parodies and reunions of some of the most iconic casts from televisions' most beloved shows.

If you're in the NY/NJ area or if you are not and are a die-hard Norman Lear fan, then you will want to come out to Hackensack, NJ on Saturday, Feb. 17 from 12 Noon to 2 PM for the book signing of The Sitcoms of Norman Lear by Sean Campbell. It will be at the Barnes and Noble on 187 Riverside Square in Hackensack, NJ.
The book got great reviews from us a few months back and if you have not picked it up yet, please do so. Or better yet head on over there on Feb. 17 buy it and get it signed by the author!
