Minor Changes for Nick@Nite & Hallmark; 7th Heaven Says Goodbye and Ray Romano Returns as Ray Barone

Nick@Nite has announced that it will replace the 11:00 p.m. Mon-Thurs airing of Three's Company with another Roseanne episode starting Monday, November 14. So, you guessed it three episodes in a row of Roseanne now from 10 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Three's Company fans will still get their dose at 2:00 a.m. Mon-Thurs nights on Nick@Nite. You may ask why the quick change? I suspect ratings is the issue. It can't be contract issues as the 2:00 a.m. airplay is still on. The 2:00 a.m. episode was just an encore of the 11 p.m. episode. A quick lesson in TV indicates that a repeat of an episode within 24 hours counts only as ONE airplay (example: 11:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m., if they are the same episode, counts only as one "airplay"). I think it is a waste of an airplay for Three's Company just airing it at 2:00 a.m. They should just move it back to TV Land and air it four days a week, as Nick@Nite is now a completely different audience headed towards '90s programming (with some late 80s). Just my thoughts...

The Hallmark Channel will make a minor change starting Monday, November 21. Fans of Dr. Quinn Medicine, Woman will be upset as the Hallmark Channel will again remove the show off the schedule replacing it with a second airing of The Waltons at 9:00 a.m. We still have not found out the full January line-up with the addition of Diagnosis Murder at noon. Stay tuned for that.

And now to some network news. The WB has announced that this season will be the last of one of The WB's highest rated shows ever--7th Heaven. The family friendly drama will end after this season after ten strong seasons. Reruns have been also strong on ABC Family Channel. The WB will sure miss it as it has anchored their Monday line-up for years.
Ray Romano is back as Ray Barone on an episode of The King of Queens on Monday, November 28 at 8 p.m. on CBS! This will mark the first time his character has returned since the series finale of Everybody Loves Raymond last May. Expect a season high in the ratings for the consistent King of Queens that week.
