Doc Season 2 Trailer for Fox; Remembering David Ketchum and Jerry Adler

Dr. Amy Larsen has more than just her patients' lives on her hands on the season 2 premiere of Doc returning Tuesday, Sept. 23 at 9/8c on Fox. Watch/share the official season 2 trailer!

Inspired by a true story and based on the hit eponymous Italian drama series, Doc begins its second season of the life-affirming medical drama following the heartbreak and victories of hard-charging, brilliant physician Dr. Amy Larsen (Emmy nominee Molly Parker, House of Cards) as she rebuilds her life after a car crash erased eight years of her memory. This season, Amy will continue to confront hard truths about her missing years, work to repair fractured relationships and seek to reconcile the person she used to be with the one everyone else has come to know. Also starring Omar Metwally, Felicity Huffman, Amirah Vann, Charlotte Fountain-Jardim, Jon Ecker, and Anya Banerjee.

David Ketchum

Actor and television writer David Ketchum, who starred as Spiffy in Camp Runamuck and as Agent 13 in Get Smart, has died. He died of heart failure on August 10 in Thousand Oaks, California. Mr. Ketchum was 97.

I'm Dickens, He's Fenster

Ketchum's first regular role was as Mel Warshaw in 23 episodes of the 1962-1963 ABC sitcom I'm Dickens, He's Fenster. The series starred John Astin and Marty Ingels as Harry Dickens and Arch Fenster, inept Los Angeles carpenters who were friends, and who worked for the Bannister Construction Company. Mel Warshaw and Bob Mulligan (Henry Beckman) were carpenters who provided little help when problems arose on a job site. The cast included Emmaline Henry, Frank DeVol, and Noam Pitlik.

Camp Runamuck

He starred as Senior Counselor Spiffy in the 1965-1966 NBC sitcom Camp Runamuck. The series related the wacky goings-on at the titular boys' summer camp, and at Camp Divine, its girls' counterpart across the lake. Runamuck was run by Commander Wivenhoe (Arch Johnson), a man who couldn't stand kids, and Senior Counselor Spiffy, his assistant of sorts. The cast included Alice Nunn, Dave Madden, Leonard Stone, Nina Wayne, Hermione Baddeley, Mike Wagner, and George Dunn.

David Ketchum as Agent 13 in Get Smart

Ketchum had a recurring role as Agent 13 in 13 episodes of the NBC sitcom Get Smart from 1966 to 1967. Agent 13 is an agent who is usually stationed inside unlikely, sometimes impossibly small or unlucky places, such as cigarette machines, washing machines, lockers, trash cans, or fire hydrants. Ketchum also co-wrote the third season episode titled "Classification: Dead." He reprised the role in the 1989 ABC TV movie Get Smart, Again! as well as an episode of the 1995 revival of Get Smart on Fox. Get Smart starred Don Adams, Barbara Feldon, and Edward Platt.

Jodie Foster and David Ketchum in The Courtship of Eddie's Father

He had a recurring role as Joe Kelly, the father of Joey Kelly (Jodie Foster), in three episodes of The Courtship of Eddie's Father from 1969 to 1970. Some of his other sitcom guest appearances included The Jim Backus Show, Angel (2 episodes in 1961), The Real McCoys, The Joey Bishop Show (2 episodes), The Munsters, Hey, Landlord (4 episodes), Good Morning World (2 episodes), The Andy Griffith Show (2 episodes), Accidental Family (2 episodes), Petticoat Junction, Gomer Pyle: USMC, Mayberry R.F.D., That Girl (3 episodes), The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Green Acres (2 episodes), My Three Sons, The Odd Couple (2 episodes), The Partridge Family (1972), Love, American Style (4 episodes), Maude, Happy Days (5 episodes), Alice, Mork & Mindy, and Perfect Strangers.

Some of his other sitcom writing credits included Hey, Landlord (1967), Captain Nice (2 episodes), Here's Lucy (2 episodes), Me and the Chimp (2 episodes), Love, American Style (4 episodes), M*A*S*H, Blansky's Beauties, On Our Own (1977), Who's Watching the Kids? (2 episodes, he also directed 2 episodes), Happy Days (10 episodes), Laverne & Shirley (5 episodes), Too Close for Comfort, Down to Earth, The Love Boat (7 episodes), Perfect Strangers, Sledge Hammer! (4 episodes), and Full House.

Mr. Ketchum was funny and memorable as the unfortunate Agent 13 in Get Smart. He was a familiar face in many sitcoms of the 1960s and 1970s. We thank him for the laughs as an actor and writer. He will be greatly missed.

Jerry Adler

Actor Jerry Adler, who starred in Hudson Street, Alright Already and Raising Dad, has died. He died at his home in New York City on August 23. Mr. Adler was 96.

Jerry Adler and Paul Reiser in Mad About You

Adler had a recurring role as Mr. Wicker, the apartment building superintendent, in nine episodes of the NBC sitcom Mad About You from 1994 to 1999. He first appeared as Sgt. Panino in a 1993 episode. He reprised the role of Mr. Wicker in two episodes of the 2019 Spectrum revival.

Hudson Street

He starred as Lt. Al Teischler in the 1995-1996 ABC sitcom Hudson Street. Tony Danza starred as Tony Canetti, a divorced detective in Hoboken, New Jersey, who shares custody of his son Mickey with his ex-wife. Old-timer Al was seen down at the station house. The cast included Lori Loughlin, Frankie J. Galasso, Christine Dunford, Tom Gallop, Jeffrey Anderson-Gunter, and Shareen J. Mitchell.

Alright Already

Adler starred as Al Lerner in the 1997-1998 The WB sitcom Alright Already. Carol Lerner (Carol Leifer) is a single businesswoman who opens an optometry shop in Miami with her best friend and deals with embarrassing situations and her relationship with her family. Al and Miriam Lerner (Mitzi McCall) were her retired, overbearing, perpetually squabbling parents. The series also starred Amy Yasbeck, Stacy Galina, and Maury Sterling.

Raising Dad

He starred as Sam Stewart in the 2001-2002 The WB sitcom Raising Dad. Matt Stewart (Bob Saget) is a widower trying to raise his two daughters, Sarah (Kat Dennings) and Emily (Brie Larson), with the help of his live-in father, Sam, a former baseball player for the Boston Red Sox. The cast included Meagan Good, Andy Kindler, Ben Indra, Beau Wirick, Camille Guaty, Tembi Locke, and Riley Smith.

Some of his other sitcom guest appearances included Brooklyn Bridge, True Colors (2 episodes), Spin City, LateLine, The War at Home, 'Til Death (2 episodes), Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Broad City.

Adler was also known for work in television dramas. He had a recurring role as Herman "Hesh" Rabkin, a loan shark and advisor to Tony Soprano, in 28 episodes of the 1999-2007 HBO crime drama The Sopranos. He had a recurring role as Sidney Feinberg, FDNY 75th Battalion Chief, in 34 episodes of the FX comedy drama Rescue Me from 2007 to 2011. He had a recurring role as Howard Lyman in 30 episodes of the CBS legal political drama The Good Wife from 2011 to 2016. He reprised the role in two episodes of The Good Fight in 2017 and 2018. He had a recurring role as Moshe Pfefferman, the father of Maura Pfefferman (Jeffrey Tambor), in nine episodes of the Amazon comedy drama Transparent from 2017 to 2019.

Some of his other television guest appearances included Quantum Leap (1992), New York Undercover, Northern Exposure (3 episodes as Rabbi Alan Schulman), Law & Order, Wonderland, Bull (3 episodes), The West Wing, CSI: Miami, Detroit 1-8-7, Mozart in the Jungle (2 episodes), and Living with Yourself.

Mr. Adler was a talented and versatile actor. He spent decades behind the scenes of storied Broadway productions before pivoting to acting in his early 60s. We thank him for his work on television. He will be sorely missed.

Sky and STARZ announced that filming has commenced in London on the second season of the critically acclaimed, darkly comic Sky Original thriller Sweetpea. Ella Purnell (Fallout, Yellowjackets) returns as wallflower-turned-killer Rhiannon Lewis, joined this series by new cast members Tamsin Greig (Riot Women, Friday Night Dinner) and Rish Shah (Overcompensating, Joy).

Killer wallflower Rhiannon Lewis is back in Season 2 of the iconically brazen and darkly comic thriller. Rish Shah joins the cast as Rhiannon's romantic interest Gabriel, alongside Tamsin Greig who stars as AJ's mother, Liv. Taj Atwal (Riot Women, Line of Duty) steps in as Freya, Rhiannon's formidable new boss at the Carnsham Gazette, while Jenny Walser (Heartstopper, Star City) plays an adoring new friend Daisy. NBC Fall 2025 Premiere Dates; Fox Fall 2025 Premiere Dates

NBC will begin the 2025-26 season the week of Sept. 22 with a robust programming lineup that will feature the latest iteration of the iconic musical competition series The Voice, the return of the compelling Zachary Quinto drama series Brilliant Minds, the venerable Law & Order franchise and the finale of summer's #1 show, America's Got Talent. The Sept. 22 season premiere of The Voice will feature the all-star coaching panel of Michael Bublé, Reba McEntire, Niall Horan and Snoop Dogg. A new champion will be crowned on America's Got Talent on Wednesday, Sept. 24 while an all-Law & Order lineup returns the next day, Thursday, Sept. 25.

On Wednesday, Oct. 1, fan-favorite #OneChicago is back with all-new tales from the Windy City and its incredible first responders. That same week marks the launch of the highly anticipated new unscripted series On Brand with Jimmy Fallon, which will make its debut with a twice-weekly cadence on Tuesdays and Fridays. Coming off its historic 50th season, Saturday Night Live begins its newest season on Oct. 4. NBC's hit comedies St. Denis Hospital and Happy's Place will both start their sophomore campaigns the week of Nov. 3 with back-to-back airings of St. Denis Medical on Mondays and Happy's Place on Fridays.

NBC will officially kick-off fall on Thursday, Sept. 4 with the launch of the new season of Sunday Night Football - the #1 primetime program for the last 14 years - when the Dallas Cowboys travel to play the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles. The first Sunday night telecast will air later that weekend when the Baltimore Ravens head to upstate New York to visit the Buffalo Bills. Also on the sports calendar, the highly anticipated return of the NBA to NBC begins Tuesday, Oct. 21, starting with the hourlong pregame show at 6:30 p.m. The teams playing in the 7:30 and 10 p.m. premiere Tip Off doubleheader will be announced shortly.

As previously announced, NBC will begin the holiday season on Nov. 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT with a two-hour Wicked special that will feature musical performances from stars Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande and other surprises guests. The specials will serve as a celebration to the Universal film Wicked: For Good, which will open in theaters on Nov. 21. The returning drama The Hunting Party and newly ordered comedy series The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins and Stumble will be added to the 2025-26 schedule at a later date.

Fox Fall 2025 Premiere Dates

FOX sets the stage for the 2025-26 season, announcing premiere dates for a dynamic fall lineup of new and returning scripted, unscripted and animated series. The fall season kicks off with the fan-favorite musical guessing game Celebrity Name That Tune, hosted by Tony Award winner and Emmy Award nominee Jane Krakowski with Grammy Award-winning producer Randy Jackson serving as band leader, returning for another season starting Monday, Sept. 15 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), followed by the series premiere of cutthroat game show Celebrity Weakest Link, hosted by Emmy Award winner Jane Lynch (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).

The following week, the second season of the gripping medical drama Doc premieres Tuesday, Sept. 23 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) preceded by the season premiere of Murder in a Small Town (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT). Television's #1 game show The Floor, hosted by Rob Lowe, begins its fourth season on Wednesday, Sept. 24 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), followed by the series premiere of new competition series 99 to Beat (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), hosted by Ken Jeong and Erin Andrews. On Thursday, Sept. 25, Hell's Kitchen (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) makes its Season 24 premiere, followed by the Season Four premiere of Special Forces: World's Toughest Test (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).

The full iconic "FOX Animation Domination" block premieres Sunday, Sept. 28, with all-new seasons of The Simpsons (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT), Universal Basic Guys (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT), Krapopolis (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) and Bob's Burgers (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT). Additional series to premiere in the 2025-2026 season include Drama: Memory of A Killer; Event Series: The Faithful; One-Hour Comedy: Best Medicine; Half-Hour Comedies: American Dad!, Animal Control, Family Guy, Going Dutch and Grimsburg; Unscripted: Beat Shazam, Don't Forget The Lyrics, Extracted , Fear Factor: The Next Chapter (WT), LEGO Masters, Next Level Baker, Next Level Chef and The Masked Singer.

Events Planned for The Golden Girls 40th Anniversary; Family Guy Holiday Specials Return to Hulu

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the beloved legacy series The Golden Girls, fans can look forward to exclusive themed merchandise and experiences across the country, starting on the official Golden Girls Day, Wednesday, July 30. Nationwide events will feature curated experiences from Zero Waste Daniel, themed beverages from Nocking Point Wines, treats from Yogurtland, and limited-edition merchandise from Brick Craft, Candier, and Furbish Studio.

The Golden Girls debuted September 14, 1985, captivating audiences for seven memorable seasons, and the series' theme song and lyrics have become an enduring anthem for generations. For the first time, the estate of revered singer-songwriter Andrew Gold has made the lyrics of his classic hit “Thank You for Being a Friend” available for The Golden Girls products being sold by Furbish Studio, Yogurtland and Candier:

Furbish Studio, known for its iconic collection of needlepoint pillows featuring witty sayings, playful prints and vibrant patterns, is launching the limited-edition “Thank You for Being a Friend” pillow. The pillow will be available for pre-order through the company’s website, www.furbishstudio.com, starting August 19, ahead of the official product launch on September 12.

Yogurtland will introduce a limited-edition cheesecake-flavored yogurt, “Thank You for Being Cheesecake,” to celebrate National Cheesecake Day on July 30. Aptly named in connection with the iconic theme song for The Golden Girls, Yogurtland fans can escape the heat at any of the 202 participating locations across the United States until August 17.

Candier, the candle brand renowned for its unique, fun and luxurious scented candles, will introduce two limited-edition items: “I’ll get the Cheesecake!” candle and the “Thank You for Being a Friend” candle, starting September 14.

From July 31 to August. 17, Brooklyn-based fashion brand Zero Waste Daniel will honor television’s most iconic foursome with a limited-edition capsule collection inspired by The Golden Girls, celebrating the enduring legacy of Blanche, Dorothy, Rose and Sophia. The collection reinterprets nostalgic elements from the sitcom through the bold, artistic and heartfelt vision of one of Brooklyn’s most unique creative studios. It will be available to purchase online and at a special in-store activation at the Zero Waste Daniel flagship location (257 Varet Street), which will be transformed into a Golden Girls-inspired dreamscape, part fashion destination and part fan tribute.

Fisher-Price has launched a playful and nostalgic short-form content series titled “Little People Collector Mini Adventures.” This series reimagines beloved moments from The Golden Girls using the Fisher-Price® Little People Collector™ The Golden Girls: Late Night Cheesecake set featuring Dorothy, Blanche, Rose and Sophia. Each episode highlights fan-favorite themes and timeless humor, introducing the charm and wit of these iconic characters to a new generation in Little People form.

All-new episodes will debut July 30 across the official social media accounts of The Golden Girls, Mattel and Fisher-Price, coinciding with International Cheesecake Day. Additional episodes are scheduled to air August 19, with a special episode commemorating the 40th anniversary of the show set to air September 14. Another episode, focusing on the most memorable moments from the series, will be released on Nov. 18.

This fall, ABC News will mark the iconic sitcom’s 40th anniversary with a one-hour special detailing the incredible inside story of The Golden Girls, featuring series creator Susan Harris, Emmy® Award-winning producer Tony Thomas, and many of the show’s original writers and producers. Paying tribute to the legendary actresses who brought Dorothy, Blanche, Rose and Sophia to life, and to 40 years of friendship, laughter and their famous love of cheesecake, the special will explore how The Golden Girls used uninhibited comedy to rewrite the narrative for women over 50 and how its timeless appeal has created a lasting influence on pop culture.

Family Guy - A Little Fright Music

Family Guy Halloween and Holiday specials return exclusively to Hulu. The Halloween special premieres Monday, October 6 on Hulu. At the Family Guy San Diego Comic-Con panel, the cast and producers revealed their Halloween and Holiday specials are returning exclusively to Hulu this year.

The Halloween special, the first of the two Hulu Exclusive specials will premiere Monday, October 6 on Hulu. In the Halloween special, “A Little Fright Music,” Brian and Stewie realize there is a shortage of quality Halloween songs, so they set out to write a hit, and Peter and the guys discover that lying about trick or treating can have deadly consequences. Season 24 of Family Guy will premiere in 2026 on FOX, and stream on Hulu.

Tubi Comedy Series Demascus Premieres in August; LEGO Masters Jr. Lines Up Celebs for 4-Week Event

Tubi, Fox Corporation's ad-supported streaming service, announced it has partnered with AMC Networks to premiere Demascus, the six episode half-hour comedic sci-fi series from playwright Tearrance Arvelle Chisholm and AMC Studios that focuses on the title character as a Tubi Original. The limited series is executive produced by Mark Johnson (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul), via his Gran Via Productions banner and Myki Bajaj of Gran Via. Kirk A. Moore (American Crime, For Life) and Chisholm serve as co-showrunners. The series will premiere exclusively on Tubi Thursday, August 7th.

The comedy follows Demascus (Okieriete Onaodowan, Station 19), a Black man who goes on a journey of self-discovery using an experimental reality-bending technology. The series is a comedic, genre-defying, coming-of-age story that explores the gulf between Black male perspectives. Also starring are Janet Hubert (The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air), Caleb Eberhardt (Judas and the Black Messiah), Shakira Ja'nai Paye (Single Drunk Female, black-ish) and Martin Lawrence (in a recurring role).

LEGO Masters Jr.

LEGO Masters Jr., a Four-Week Special Event Series Airing Mondays 8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT on Fox and hosted by television personality Kelly Osbourne with celebrity contestants including Ravi V. Patel, Andy Richter, Jordin Sparks, Alison Sweeney and Porsha Williams. Amy Corbett and Boone Langston (season one finalist and LEGO designer) join the special as Brickmasters and judges.

Based on the hit competition series LEGO Masters, LEGO Masters Jr. brings imagination, design and creativity to life when junior LEGO enthusiasts (ages 9-17) are paired with a celebrity partner as they go head-to-head with infinite possibilities and an unlimited supply of LEGO bricks. The teams will compete against each other in ambitious brick-building challenges to be crowned the country's most talented amateur LEGO builder.

In each episode, the junior builders and their celebrity teammate will work to impress the judges with their incredible creations and then, during the finale, the top teams will face off to win the ultimate LEGO trophy, a $50,000 grand prize and the prestigious title of LEGO Masters Jr. LEGO Masters Jr. launches Monday, August 18 at 8:00 PM PT/ET and streams the next day on Hulu.

Comedy Superstar Jack Black Is the King of Comedy at Nickelodeon; Doc Adds Felicity Huffman

Comedy superstar Jack Black will receive the iconic King of Comedy Award during the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2025, live from Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif., on Saturday, June 21, at 8 p.m. (ET /PT). Recognized for his illustrious career across film, television, music and more, Black will accept his Silver Blimp from the KCA stage, before getting decimated in Nickelodeon's iconic Slime. No longer Chief of Internal Medicine at Westside Hospital, Amy must restart her medical journey as an Intern in the hopes of becoming the doctor she once was. NOTES: NBC unveils its 2025 fall schedule highlighting stability for its fan-favorite franchise dramas, huge unscripted hits, the biggest and best live specials and holiday programming, and the celebrated return of the NBA.

On the comedy front, Tracy Morgan and Daniel Radcliffe will star in The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins. Executive produced by 30 Rock creators Tina Fey and Robert Carlock and written by Carlock and Sam Means (30 Rock, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), the series focuses on a disgraced former football player (Morgan), who is on a mission to rehabilitate his image.

As part of NBC’s rolling development cycle, the network is looking to continue to strengthen its comedy pipeline with the pilots Stumble, from Jeff and Liz Astrof (Trial & Error), and an untitled project from Sierra Teller Ornelas (Superstore, Brooklyn Nine-Nine). With NBC’s 52-week scheduling strategy, these pilots – if picked up to series – could air in the 2025-26 season.

NBC strengthened its comedy lineup last season with two new series – Happy's Place and St. Denis Medical – that have been renewed for the 2025-26 season. Combined, the series reached nearly 52 million viewers across linear and digital platforms in their freshman seasons. Both these shows will help serve as launchpads for new comedy series with St. Denis Medical starting its second season on Mondays in November and Happy's Place beginning season two on Fridays.

On Brand with Jimmy Fallon arrives on the fall schedule as the newest unscripted offering. The Tonight Show host will star in a highly addictive competition series in which he starts a premier marketing agency and fills it with the most creative, clever and competitive go-getters he can find.

Also coming this season is Surviving Earth, an incredible look back to see not only how life survived cataclysmic events on our planet, but managed to thrive. The eight-episode special event series will take an incredible journey into prehistory to learn the lessons from past mass extinctions.

Across the entire television landscape, NBC is the uncontested leader in delivering family favorite holiday specials and live events. The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade returns to the streets of New York on Nov. 27, coming off its 2024 edition where it delivered its biggest audience ever and the most watched entertainment telecast in five years.

Also back are many annual favorites, including The National Dog Show Presented by Purina, Christmas in Rockefeller Center and animated classics such as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman and The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.

DMV, based on award-winning author Katherine Heiny’s short story, is a single-camera workplace comedy set at the place everyone dreads going most: the DMV. Our quirky and lovable characters are making minimum wage, doing a thankless job where customers are annoyed before they even walk in the door. Good thing they have each other.

DMV stars Harriet Dyer, Tim Meadows, Tony Cavalero, Molly Kearney, Gigi Zumbado and Alex Tarrant. Dana Klein will executive produce along with Aaron Kaplan, Wendi Trilling and Robyn Meisinger. Trent O'Donnell executive produced and directed the pilot from a script written by Klein. The series is produced by CBS Studios and will be distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.

Animal Control and Going Dutch

Fox Entertainment has renewed both of its workplace comedy series - Animal Control, starring Emmy Award nominee Joel McHale, and Going Dutch, starring Emmy Award nominee Denis Leary, for a fourth and second season respectively. In season-to-date multi-platform viewing, Animal Control more than doubles its Live + Same Day delivery and Going Dutch is Fox's most streamed new comedy this season. The single-camera shows, both wholly owned by Fox, will return in the 2025-2026 season. In addition to McHale, Animal Control stars Michael Rowland, Vella Lovell, Ravi Patel and Grace Palmer. Fox Summer 2025 Schedule; Final Guest Hosts for Saturday Night Live 50th Anniversary Season

Fox is announcing premiere dates and return dates for the summer 2025 slate of original programming, including the series premieres of Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service (May 21) and The Snake (June 10), as well as new seasons of LEGO Masters (May 19), MasterChef (May 21), The Quiz with Balls (June 2) and The 1% Club (June 10), and all-new episodes of "Animation Domination" favorites Bob's Burgers, Grimsburg, Family Guy and The Great North (May 29). The Fox summer schedule officially gets its brick on beginning Monday, May 19 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) with the Season Five premiere of hit competition series LEGO Masters, hosted by actor and producer Will Arnett. Quinta Brunson will host NBC's Saturday Night Live for the second time on May 3. The Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner is the star and creator of ABC's Abbott Elementary. Benson Boone will perform as musical guest for the first time. The Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum selling artist will release his next album "American Heart" on June 20. Walton Goggins will host SNL for the first time on May 10. Goggins stars in the third season of The White Lotus and the final season of The Righteous Gemstones, both streaming on Max. Arcade Fire will take the stage as musical guest for the sixth time. The Grammy Award-winning band will release their new album, "Pink Elephant," on May 9.

Scarlett Johansson will host the May 17 season finale, returning to host SNL for the seventh time. The Oscar-nominated actress stars in the new Universal Pictures film Jurassic World Rebirth, in theaters July 2. Bad Bunny will make his third appearance as musical guest. The 3-time Grammy-winning artist's latest album, "DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS," spent three consecutive weeks at #1 on the Billboard 200 and has been #1 on the Top Latin Albums chart for 15 straight weeks.

Fox Renews Animated Hits for 4 Additional Seasons and American Dad! Returns; South Park Season 27 Premieres July 9

Family Guy - Bob's Burgers - The Simpsons - American Dad!

Fox Entertainment has ordered unprecedented, early four-season renewals for 20th Television Animation's hit series The Simpsons, Family Guy and Bob's Burgers, and announced the return of American Dad! to the network. The three fan-favorite series -- all produced by 20th Television Animation, a part of Disney Television Studios -- have each received four additional seasons, continuing their impressive runs on Fox through the 2028-29 broadcast cycle. The renewals encompass the 16th through 19th Seasons of Bob's Burgers, the 24th through 27th Seasons of Family Guy and the record-setting 37th through 40th Seasons of The Simpsons, extending its standing as the longest-running scripted primetime series in television history.

American Dad!, created by Seth MacFarlane, Mike Barker and Matt Weitzman, debuted on Fox in 2005 and was a part of the network's animation lineup through 2014. The animated comedy will return to the network for Seasons 20 through 23. Disney+ and Hulu remain the exclusive global streaming home of these four iconic animated series, boasting a collective library of all 2,000 episodes. Last year, both Family Guy and Bob's Burgers were ranked as two of the Top 10 most streamed shows in the U.S., according to Nielsen, with 42.44 billion and 36.79 billion minutes viewed, respectively. Fox is home to the longest running primetime animation block in television history, featuring the reigning first families of animation, the Simpsons, the Griffins and the Belchers, as well as the return of the Smith family in American Dad!

Speaking of long-running animated comedies, Comedy Central announced that the 27th season of the renowned series, South Park, will premiere Wednesday, July 9. The hit animated franchise South Park, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2022, debuted on Comedy Central August 13, 1997. Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny were first seen in the animated short "The Spirit of Christmas," and from there were launched into television history. Co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are executive producers, along with Anne Garefino and Frank C. Agnone II. Eric Stough, Adrien Beard, Bruce Howell and Vernon Chatman are producers.

Fox Orders Season 2 of Doc; Law & Order: Organized Crime Moves to Peacock in April

Fox Entertainment has renewed the freshman medical drama, Doc, for a 22-episode second season. Doc follows the story of Dr. Amy Larsen, the hard-charging, brilliant ex-Chief of Internal and Family Medicine at Westside Hospital and her colleagues, loved ones and rivals who must navigate a new reality when she returns to work after a brain injury erases the past eight years of her life. Doc stars Molly Parker (House of Cards), Omar Metwally (The Affair), Amirah Vann (How to Get Away with Murder), Jon Ecker (Firefly Lane) and Anya Banerjee (The Blacklist). Season One features recurring guest stars Scott Wolf (Party of Five) and Patrick Walker (Lessons in Chemistry).

Law & Order: Organized Crime

A new season of Law & Order: Organized Crime arrives April 17 on Peacock. The hit drama series Law & Order: Organized Crime moves to Peacock for its fifth season. Reprising the role he originated on Law & Order: SVU, Christopher Meloni stars as Det. Elliot Stabler, who returned to New York after a decade abroad to rebuild his life following a devastating personal loss. As lead detective in Sgt. Ayanna Bell's (Danielle Moné Truitt) Organized Crime Control Bureau, he works to dismantle New York's most vicious and violent illegal enterprises while fending off dangers that often follow him home. Helping to expose the dark and complex criminal world of their targets are undercover expert Bobby Reyes (Rick Gonzalez) and tech genius Jet Slootmaekers (Ainsley Seiger). While on assignment, Stabler leans on his brother Randall (Dean Norris) to keep the Stabler family safe and thriving.

Season five explores the dangerous worlds of cross-border smuggling, high-tech domestic terrorism and a crime family intent on repaying Stabler for the injury he did them in Rome. As his worlds collide, Stabler will put everything on the line to protect the vulnerable and fight for justice.

Fox Renews Jay Pharoah Game Show; Leighton Meester to Guest Star on Nobody Wants This

The Fox Television Network has renewed The Quiz with Balls, the network's hit game show that took last summer's top spot for new series among the coveted Adults 18-49 demographic, for a second season. Hosted by actor and comedian Jay Pharoah (SNL, The Blackening), the popular game show pits brains against balls, combining a high stakes quiz show and a large-scale physical competition with each episode featuring two families competing for $100,000 in an epic "battle of the balls."

Everybody Wants This! Leighton Meester will guest star in Nobody Wants This Season 2 playing Kristen Bell's middle school nemesis who Joanne crosses paths with as an adult. In the comedy series, an agnostic podcast host and an unconventional rabbi on the rebound walk into a party. When they walk out - together - the unlikely pair, Joanne (Kristen Bell) and Noah (Adam Brody), can tell there is something between them. But also potentially between them, with their differing outlooks on life, all of the modern obstacles to love, and their sometimes well-meaning, sometimes sabotaging families - including her sister Morgan (Justine Lupe) and his brother Sasha (Timothy Simons).

NBC Summer Staples Return in Summer 2025; Gronk Guests on Animal Control

NBC will premiere the landmark 20th season of the hit competition series America's Got Talent on Tuesday, May 27 (8-10 P.M. ET/PT). Iconic singer, songwriter Mel B (AGT Seasons 8-13, AGT: Fantasy League) will reclaim her seat at the judges table joining the star-studded panel with executive producer Simon Cowell, fan-favorite comedian Howie Mandel and acclaimed actress and international superstar Sofia Vergara. The dynamic Terry Crews returns as host. The live shows will kick off at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium beginning Tuesday, August 19 (8-10 p.m. ET/PT) on NBC. Results shows will air Wednesday nights (8-9 p.m. ET/PT) starting August 20. Also returning this summer to NBC is Season 17 of American Ninja Warrior, premiering Monday, June 2 (8-10 P.M. ET/PT). Animal Control - Rob Gronkowski

NFL legend Rob Gronkowski guest stars on an-all new Animal Control next Thursday, February 13 (9:00-9:30 pm et/pt) on Fox. After Frank (Joel McHale) and Animal Control help Rob Gronkowski wrangle the real-life versions of every NFL mascot, his prank war with Templeton (Gerry Dee) reaches new heights and they are forced to work together against a common foe on an all-new episode of Animal Control. Catch all-new episodes of Animal Control Thursdays at 9:00/8:00c on Fox and the next day on Hulu.

The pack is back! Animal Control returns with more animals and more office antics for Season Three. Created by Bob Fisher, Rob Greenberg and Dan Sterling, with Tad Quill serving as showrunner, Animal Control follows a group of local Animal Control workers whose lives are complicated by the fact that animals are simple, but humans are not. McHale stars as Frank, an opinionated, eccentric Animal Control officer who may not have gone to college but is still the most well-read person in the room. A former cop, Frank tried to expose corruption in his department, but his efforts got him fired, which may explain why he's so cynical and curmudgeonly. He has an almost superhuman ability to understand animals. Humans...not so much.

In addition to McHale, Animal Control stars Michael Rowland as Fred "Shred" Taylor, Vella Lovell as Emily, Ravi Patel as Patel, and Grace Palmer as Victoria. Hulu's Deli Boys Adds Tan France; Joel McHale Taking Over The 1% Club

Tan France is set to join Onyx Collective's upcoming comedy series Deli Boys alongside series regulars Asif Ali, Saagar Shaikh, Poorna Jagannathan, Alfie Fuller and Brian George — marking a career-first role in scripted television. France is set as the guest star role of Zubair, a British Pakistani South London gang leader. He is smart, intimidating and dressed to kill. When their convenience store-magnate father suddenly dies, a pair of pampered Pakistani American brothers lose everything and are forced to reckon with their Baba’s secret life of crime as they attempt to take up his mantle in the underworld.

The half-hour, 10-episode series was created by Abdullah Saeed and developed by Jenni Konner and Nora Silver under Jenni Konner Productions. Michelle Nader, who also serves as showrunner, is an executive producer alongside Saeed, Konner and Silver. Nisha Ganatra is executive producer and director on the pilot, with Vali Chandrasekaran as a non-writing executive producer on the pilot. The series hails from Onyx Collective and is produced by 20th Television.

Fox Television Network today announced that Joel McHale -- star of its hit comedy Animal Control and culinary sleuth series Crime Scene Kitchen -- has been named the new host of its popular entertainment format The 1% Club, which has been renewed for a second season. The hit series of the popular international format is produced by BBC Studios Los Angeles Productions and Magnum Media. It originally premiered on Prime Video last season in the U.S. and Canada and will now move exclusively to Fox for its new season airing in 2025-26.

The 1% Club is a unique, compelling and funny entertainment show that tests the nation's intelligence, based on a scientific survey. It's a chance to test how your brain works through a series of questions that all have a right answer but can also lead to a series of entertaining wrong answers along the way. Fox Announces Animation Domination 2025 Schedule; Abbott Elementary Renewed for Season 5

Fox announces Winter return dates for its iconic Animation Domination favorites Family Guy, Grimsburg, The Great North, Krapopolis and The Simpsons. On Sunday, February 16, all-new seasons of Family Guy (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT), Grimsburg (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) and The Great North (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) debut, followed by new episodes of Krapopolis (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT) on Fox. Then, starting Sunday, March 30, all-new episodes of The Simpsons return (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT), followed by Family Guy (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT), The Great North (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) and Krapopolis (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT). No surprise, but Abbott Elementary will be back for a season five in 2025-26 on ABC! ABC also has renewed breakout hit drama High Potential for a second season, after a strong fall and even stronger start in January. In Abbott Elementary, the workplace comedy, a group of dedicated, passionate teachers - and a slightly tone-deaf principal - are brought together in a Philadelphia public school where, despite the odds stacked against them, they are determined to help their students succeed in life. Though these incredible educators may be outnumbered and underfunded, they love what they do - even if they don't love the school district's less-than-stellar attitude toward educating children.

Fox Renews Murder in a Small Town; O.J. Simpson Netflix Docuseries

Fox Television Network renewed its psychological "cozy crime" series Murder in a Small Town for a second season. Based on the Edgar Award-winning, nine-book Karl Alberg series by acclaimed novelist L.R. Wright and originally optioned by Soapbox Productions, the drama stars Rossif Sutherland (Reign, The Handmaid's Tale) and Kristin Kreuk (Smallville, Beauty and the Beast).

Murder in a Small Town follows Karl Alberg (Sutherland), who moves to a quiet, coastal town to soothe a psyche that has been battered by big-city police work. He quickly learns that this gentle paradise has more than its share of secrets, and he will need to call upon all the skills that made him a world-class detective in solving the murders that, even in this seemingly idyllic setting, continue to wash up on his shore.

American Manhunt: O.J. Simpson

Max Renews Creature Commandos for Season 2; Fox's Denis Leary Comedy Gets First Look

Malcolm in the Middle to Return for 25th Anniversary; Game Show Network Holiday Schedule

Almost 25 years after its original debut, Disney Branded Television announced the return of the beloved family comedy Malcolm in the Middle for a limited, four-episode run on Disney+ globally. From 20th Television and New Regency, the new episodes will see the return of original cast members Frankie Muniz as Malcolm, Bryan Cranston as Hal, and Jane Kaczmarek as Lois. A premiere date will be announced at a later time. The original Malcolm in the Middle saw young genius Malcolm trying to navigate life with his quirky, often difficult family. In these brand-new episodes, Malcolm and his daughter are drawn into the family's chaos when Hal and Lois demand his presence for their 40th wedding anniversary party. The comedy originally debuted on Fox in 2000, pioneering the single-camera format and paving the way for other hit sitcoms like The Office and 30 Rock.
