Netflix's Tires Season 3 Debuts August 13; Family Guy Halloween and Holiday Specials Return Exclusively to Hulu This Year

Tires

Welcome back to Valley Forge Auto. Season 3 of Tires, starring Shane Gillis, debuts August 13 only on Netflix. Netflix has released the official trailer and key art.

While settling in as part owners, Will and Shane struggle to keep Valley Forge afloat. Just as their business and friendship hit a breaking point, Will and Shane look to their past to figure out the future.

Tires stars Shane Gillis, Steve Gerben, Chris O'Connor, Kilah Fox, Stavros Halkias, and Thomas Haden Church. As we previously mentioned in April, new Season 3 cast members include Rachel Blanchard, Garret Dillahunt, Anjelica Bette Fellini, and Matt Walsh.

Family Guy - Happy Hell-o-ween

At the Family Guy San Diego Comic-Con panel on July 25, executive producer and showrunner Rich Appel revealed that Family Guy Halloween and Holiday specials are returning exclusively to Hulu this year, along with a first look at guest star Kieran Culkin, who joins the Halloween special as the Devil. Appel was joined by Family Guy stars Alex Borstein, Arif Zahir, Jennifer Tilly and co-executive producer & supervising director Peter Shin.

In the Halloween special, "Happy Hell-o-ween," Brian and Stewie find themselves in Hell - not an annoying day, the actual underworld - paying for 24 seasons' worth of bad behavior. When they manage to annoy even the Devil himself, they end up in charge. Having danced with any number of devils on Succession, Kieran Culkin now gets to play the Devil himself in "Happy Hell-o-ween."

In the Holiday special, "The Peter Clause," it's Christmas in Quahog, and Peter and the guys compete to become the town's official Santa. Peter loses, and he can either process his disappointment in a mature manner, or give fans a memorable episode of Family Guy. Thankfully, he chooses option number two.

The specials will also exclusively stream internationally on Disney+ in most markets. Season 25 of Family Guy returns to Fox in 2027, and will stream on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers in the U.S.

The series stars Jason Schwartzman (Isle of Dogs, The French Dispatch) as KEVIN, a housecat who decides to try life without people, and Aubrey Plaza as DANA (The White Lotus, Emily the Criminal), one half of the human couple he leaves behind. Additional series regulars include Whoopi Goldberg (The Lion King, Sister Act) as CUPCAKE, John Waters (Hairspray, Liar Mouth) as ARMANDO, and Aparna Nancherla (The Great North, Bob's Burgers) as JUDY - Kevin's new cat roommates at a local pet rescue run by human SETH, played by Gil Ozeri (Big Mouth, Monsters) and his dog BRANDI, played by Amy Sedaris (BoJack Horseman, At Home with Amy Sedaris).

Best Medicine

Fox is pleased to confirm that our breakout hit series Best Medicine has been renewed for a 12-episode Season Two to debut in the 2026-2027 Season. Best Medicine stars Emmy Award nominee Josh Charles, Abigail Spencer, Josh Segarra, Annie Potts and Cree.

The series centers on Dr. Martin Best (Josh Charles), a brilliant surgeon who abruptly leaves his illustrious career in Boston to become the general practitioner in a quaint East Coast fishing village where he spent summers as a child with his Aunt Sarah (Annie Potts). There, he encounters an eclectic group of townspeople, including schoolteacher Louisa Gavin (Abigail Spencer), Sheriff Mark Mylow (Josh Segarra) and his assistant Elaine Denton (Cree).

Martin's blunt, no-nonsense bedside manner quickly alienates the quirky locals, even though he is the only doctor they have. While he can expertly diagnose any medical mystery, he struggles with a debilitating new phobia and childhood trauma that make intimacy difficult. In a town defined by tenacity and heart, the very people Martin pushes away may ultimately be exactly what he needs. Best Medicine airs Tuesdays (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on Fox, next day on Hulu.

The Comeback - The Final Season

The third and final season of the HBO Original comedy series The Comeback, from Michael Patrick King and Lisa Kudrow, debuts Sunday, March 22 at 10:30 p.m. ET on HBO and will be available to stream on HBO Max. New episodes of the eight-episode season will debut weekly leading up to the series finale on Sunday, May 10. 20 years after its debut, the HBO Original comedy series returns with Lisa Kudrow reprising her Emmy®-nominated role as actress Valerie Cherish.

Season 3 cast has Lisa Kudrow, Dan Bucatinsky, Laura Silverman, Damian Young and Tim Bagley, Matt Cook, Jack O’Brien, Ella Stiller, John Early, Barry Shabaka Henley, Abbi Jacobson, Tony Macht, Brittany O’Grady, Zane Phillips, Julian Stern and Andrew Scott.

Animal Control

Fox Entertainment has renewed its hit workplace comedy Animal Control, starring Joel McHale, for a fifth season. Airing on Fox and its streaming partner Disney+/Hulu, Animal Control is distributed worldwide by Fox Entertainment Global. In addition, the first three seasons of the series are currently streaming on Netflix, and the show has been sold in territories around the world.

Now in its fourth season, Animal Control is delivering its strongest performance to date. The Season Four premiere marked a historic series high, becoming the first broadcast comedy in more than 15 years to see a fourth season launch outperform all three prior season premieres. The episode delivered series highs across Adults 18-49, total viewers, and 7-day multiplatform viewing. In addition, through its first eight weeks on Netflix, Animal Control Seasons 1-3 have already delivered over 1 billion minutes watched, making it the platform's #1 acquired comedy series in total viewers and #3 in minutes watched, behind only Young Sheldon and Seinfeld.

Animal Control is a single-camera comedy from showrunner Tad Quill (Scrubs, The Moodys) and Joel McHale, and stars Joel McHale, Michael Rowland, Vella Lovell, Ravi V. Patel, and Grace Palmer. Animal Control follows a group of local Animal Control workers whose lives are complicated by the fact that animals are simple, but humans are not. McHale stars as Frank, an opinionated, eccentric Animal Control officer who may not have gone to college but is still the most well-read person in the room. A former cop, Frank tried to expose corruption in his department, but his efforts got him fired, which may explain why he's so cynical and curmudgeonly. He has an almost superhuman ability to understand animals. Humans...not so much.

Lauren Chapin

Actress Lauren Chapin, who starred as Kathy "Kitten" Anderson in Father Knows Best, has died. She died on February 24 in Miami, Florida, from cancer. Ms. Chapin was 80.

Father Does Know Best: The Lauren Chapin Story

In the early 1980s, Chapin taught natural childbirth and worked for a brokerage firm. She later owned two beauty pageant enterprises and helped manage and start the career of Jennifer Love Hewitt. In 1989, she wrote an autobiography, Father Does Know Best: The Lauren Chapin Story. She was a licensed and ordained evangelist and advocate for Israel.

Ms. Chapin did a fantastic job portraying Kathy "Kitten" Anderson for six seasons. She was awarded five Junior Emmys for Best Child Actress for the role. We thank her for the laughs and entertainment. She will be deeply missed.

A GoFundMe was created to help cover memorial expenses and fulfill her wish to have her ashes placed at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, with funds going to her daughter, Summer, to purchase the memorial and cover related costs. Organizers say Chapin did not receive ongoing residual payments from the show and are planning a private Celebration of Life followed by an unveiling at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
