Netflix has begun production in Los Angeles on its new comedy series A Hundred Percent, adding Tiffany Boone, Lisa Gilroy and Diane Lane to the cast alongside previously announced stars Nick Kroll, Sam Richardson, Jason Mantzoukas and Vanessa Bayer.

A Hundred Percent is a half-hour comedy about a group of friends who are stars in the world of wellness and self-optimization. Their books, podcasts, and morning routines might help us live our lives more perfectly, but away from the screens and mics, they are most definitely far from perfect.

Heist Brothers

Adult Swim has greenlit Heist Brothers, a new high-octane animated action comedy from Emmy(R) Award-winning creator Genndy Tartakovsky. The visionary behind groundbreaking series including Dexter's Laboratory, Samurai Jack, Star Wars: Clone Wars, Sym-Bionic Titan, and Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal, Tartakovsky originally pitched Heist Brothers live onstage to Adult Swim President Michael Ouweleen during the network's Studio Focus Panel in 2024. The presentation gave attendees a rare opportunity to witness firsthand the process of a creator unveiling a brand-new series concept in real time. Announced as in development as Heist_Safari at last year's Annecy, that pitch has now come to fruition with Heist Brothers officially receiving a full-season order for Adult Swim.

Robot Chicken

Adult Swim's Emmy(R) Award-winning stop motion comedy series Robot Chicken, from co creators Seth Green and Matthew Senreich, will return with two new specials - this time turning the spotlight on its own network. The fan favorite parody series will celebrate Adult Swim's 25 year milestone with Robot Chicken Adult Swim Special, premiering Sunday, August 30 ET/PT on Adult Swim. Available to stream the next day on HBO Max, the special skewers the network's legacy with the show's signature rapid fire sketches, taking on some of Adult Swim's most iconic series, characters, and moments.

Additionally, the celebrated stop motion series is also in production on a second special, this one setting its sights on Cartoon Network's legendary series and characters. The special will commemorate Cartoon Networks' 35th anniversary with a debut planned for 2027.

Chase made her television debut in a 1998 episode of Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Some of her other sitcom guest appearances included Yes, Dear and Inside Schwartz in 2001.

Oliver Beene

She starred as Joyce in the 2003-2004 Fox sitcom Oliver Beene. Set in 1962 and 1963, the show chronicled the trials and tribulations of the 11-to-12-year-old Oliver Beene (played by Grant Rosenmeyer), in first person perspective. Joyce was his quirky friend. The cast included Grant Shaud, Wendy Makkena, Andrew Lawrence, Taylor Emerson, Amy Bruckner, Amanda Michalka, Maggie Grace (2004) and David Cross as the voice of future Oliver Beene.

Chase starred as Rhonda Volmer in the 2006-2011 HBO drama Big Love. Some of her other television guest appearances included Charmed, The Practice (2000), ER, The Lot, That's Life (2001), Touched by an Angel, Family Law, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Cold Case, Without a Trace and Mercy.

She provided the voice of Lilo Pelekai, an eccentric Hawaiian girl on the island of Kauaʻi who adopts Stitch as her pet dog, in the 2002 animated science fiction comedy-drama film Lilo & Stitch. She reprised the role of Lilo in the direct-to-video film Stitch! The Movie (2003) and the subsequent television series Lilo & Stitch: The Series, which aired on the Disney Channel from 2003 to 2006.

Chase starred as Samantha, the younger sister of Donnie Darko (Jake Gyllenhaal), in Donnie Darko (2001) and its sequel S. Darko (2009). She starred as Samara Morgan in the 2002 supernatural horror film The Ring. Her performance earned her the MTV Movie Award for Best Villain in 2003.

Ms. Chase was a talented actress. She appeared in more than 50 television series and films in her career, which spanned from 1998 to 2015. We thank her for her work on television and in films. She will be deeply missed.

The Audacity

AMC Global Media announced that production of the much anticipated eight-episode second season of The Audacity is underway in Vancouver, Canada, with the series returning to AMC and AMC+ in 2027. The satirical drama from Emmy(R) Award-winner Jonathan Glatzer (Succession, Bad Sisters, Better Call Saul) stars a powerhouse ensemble: Billy Magnussen, Sarah Goldberg, Zach Galifianakis, Lucy Punch, Simon Helberg, Meaghan Rath, Paul Adelstein, Everett Blunck, Thailey Roberge and Ava Marie Telek.

Additionally, Miriam Shor (Pluribus, American Fiction, Younger) is joining the cast in a heavily recurring role as Randy Flemming, a shrewd and unintimidated FBI Agent who enjoys the hunt like a cat relishes playing with a mouse while Jess McLeod (Normal, She's Nonbinary) has been upped to series regular for the new season, reprising their role as Harper, the brilliant, pink-haired Chief Technology Officer of the newly formed, data-mining startup P.I.N.A.T.A..

The Audacity is set inside the bubble of Silicon Valley and takes on the warped dreams, outsized egos, and ethical lapses of the self-styled inventors of the future. In a world of jaded billionaires, psychiatrist-gurus, bio-hacked tech bros, AI labs and disillusioned teens being optimized in elite private schools, an audacious data-mining CEO (Magnussen) strives to turn insight and influence into profit and power. A darkly comedic drama that confronts reality, privacy, and the delusions fueling our ever-changing world.

Magnussen stars as Duncan Park, Goldberg as Dr. JoAnne Felder, Galifianakis as Carl Bardolph, Punch as Lili Park-Hoffsteader, Helberg as Martin Phister, Rath as Anushka Bhattachera-Phister, Adelstein as Dr. Gary Felder, Blunck as Orson Stern, Roberge as Tess Phister and Telek as Jamison Park-Hoffsteader.

Apple TV Comedy Brothers Details; Jimmy Kimmel Live! Summer Guest Hosts

Brothers - Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey

Apple TV announced that its new eight-episode comedy, Brothers, will make its global debut on Wednesday, September 23 with the first two episodes, followed by one new episode every Wednesday through November 4, 2026. Starring and executive produced by Academy Award winner Matthew McConaughey and Academy Award nominee Woody Harrelson, and produced by Paramount Television Studios, Brothers is showrun and executive produced by multi-Emmy Award nominee and Peabody Award winner Lee Eisenberg.

Brothers follows McConaughey and Harrelson, who play fictionalized versions of themselves, and whose lifelong friendship is thrown into chaos when they uncover a decades-old secret: they might actually be brothers. After Woody's daughter's wedding falls apart, he loads up the family and heads to Austin for an extended stay at Matthew's ranch. But what begins as a healing getaway quickly spirals when Matthew's mother, Ma Mac (played by Holland Taylor), accidentally lets slip a long-buried secret that the two friends might actually be brothers. As Woody turns the ranch upside down in pursuit of the truth, Matthew finds himself juggling an entirely different identity crisis: a potential run for Governor of Texas. The result is a heartfelt, chaotic and wildly funny story about friendship, family, fame and the messy line between myth and reality.

The ensemble cast starring alongside Harrelson and McConaughey includes Natalie Martinez, Brittany Ishibashi, Nolan Almeida, Ella Grace Helton, Noah Carganilla, Highdee Kuan, Oona Yaffe and Holland Taylor.

The series starred Joby Baker and Schell as Dave Lewis and Larry Clarke, morning drive time disc jockeys and hosts of the eponymous Lewis and Clarke Show on a small AM radio station in Los Angeles. The cast included Billy De Wolfe, Julie Parrish, and Goldie Hawn in her first professional role.

Down to Earth - Carol Mansell and Ronnie Schell

Schell starred as Lester Luster in the second and third seasons (1984-1985) of the WTBS sitcom Down to Earth. Lester Luster is the very concerned but comical heavenly boss and overseer of Ethel MacDoogan (Carol Mansell), a 1925 flapper who dies and spends sixty years in limbo before returning to 1980s Atlanta as an angel to help the Preston family.

He appeared as Harvey Peck, one of Ann's (Marlo Thomas) agents at the Gilliam and Norris Theatrical Agency, in two episodes of the first season of That Girl in 1966. He played Bob Howard in a season five episode. Some of his other 1960s and 1970s sitcom guest appearances included Valentine's Day, The Patty Duke Show (3 episodes), The Andy Griffith Show (2 episodes), Love, American Style (2 episodes), Arnie, The New Dick Van Dyke Show (2 episodes), Here We Go Again, Temperatures Rising, The Girl with Something Extra, Diana, Lotsa Luck!, Happy Days (2 episodes), Karen (1975), Sanford and Son, The Practice (1977), One Day at a Time, Mork & Mindy (2 episodes), and Alice (2 episodes).

Some of his other sitcom guest appearances included The Love Boat, Too Close for Comfort, Madame's Place (1982), New Love, American Style (1986), Sledge Hammer!, 1st & Ten (2 episodes), She's the Sheriff, Mr. Belvedere, The New Gidget, Saved by the Bell, Empty Nest, 227, The Golden Girls, Out of This World, Good & Evil, Coach (2 episodes), Step by Step, The Wayans Bros., Yes, Dear, Phil of the Future, Jessie, and Retired at 35.

Schell played various roles in four episodes of Adam-12 and four episodes of Emergency! from 1973 to 1976. Some of his other television guest appearances included The Little People (2 episodes), Charlie's Angels, Strike Force, Trapper John, M.D. (2 episodes), and Santa Barbara (19 episodes).

He was also known for his voice work. Some of his voice credits included Goober and the Ghost Chasers, Peter Puck, Wait Till Your Father Gets Home (3 episodes), Fred Flintstone and Friends, Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels, Battle of the Planets, and Shirt Tales. He was the voice of robotic plant engineer Rudy-2 in Jetsons: The Movie (1990).

Mr. Schell was the last surviving main cast member of the popular Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C. sitcom. He did a great job portraying the amiable Duke Slater. We thank him for his work on television. He will be greatly missed.

Margaret Kerry

We also remember actress Margaret Kerry. She starred as Sharon Ruggles in The Ruggles. She died from lung cancer in Wilmington, North Carolina, on June 11. Ms. Kerry was 97.

The Ruggles

Kerry starred as Sharon Ruggles in the 1949-1952 ABC sitcom The Ruggles. The star of the series is comedian Charlie Ruggles, playing a character with the same name. His wife, Margaret Ruggles, was played in the first season by Irene Tedrow, thereafter by Erin O'Brien-Moore. The television family also had four children: college student Sharon Ruggles (Margaret Kerry), high school student Chuck Ruggles (Tom Bernard), and the young twins, Donna and Donald, played by Judy Nugent and Jimmy Hawkins. The show's farewell episode at the end of its three-year run featured Sharon's wedding and honeymoon.

The Andy Griffith Show - Sam Edwards and Margaret Kerry in Andy Forecloses

She appeared as Bess Muggins in The Andy Griffith Show episode "Christmas Story" in 1960. She played Helen Scobey in the episode "Andy Forecloses" in 1961.

Kerry provided numerous voices and live-action lead-ins for The New Three Stooges (1965) and Space Angel (1962-1964) animated series for Cambria Productions.

Her first role was as a fairy in the 1935 film A Midsummer Night's Dream. She starred as Marjorie Parker in If You Knew Susie (1948).

Ms. Kerry was best known for her work as a model for Walt Disney Pictures, where she served as the inspiration for the Peter Pan character of Tinker Bell, which she also pantomimed. We thank her for her work on television and in films. She will be sorely missed.

Anthony Head

English actor Anthony Head played Rupert Mannion in Ted Lasso. He died on June 1 from complications of pneumonia. Mr. Head was 72.

Head appeared as Rupert Mannion in 18 episodes of the Apple TV sports comedy-drama Ted Lasso from 2020 to 2023. Rupert Mannion is Rebecca Welton's (Hannah Waddingham) vindictive, philandering ex-husband. He is the former owner of AFC Richmond, and later the owner of West Ham United. For his role in the third season, he was nominated alongside the rest of the cast for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.

He was best known for his role as Rupert Giles in The WB (1997-2001) and UPN (2001-2003) supernatural horror drama Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Giles, rarely referred to by his first name, is a Watcher and a member of the Watchers' Council, whose job is to train Slayers.

Head guest starred as Dr. Staretski, Ashley Walker's (Suzanne Cryer) professor, in a 1999 episode of Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place. He starred as Uther Pendragon, the father of Prince Arthur, in the BBC fantasy-adventure drama series Merlin from 2008 to 2012.

Mr. Head was a talented and versatile actor with a distinctive baritone voice. We thank him for work on Ted Lasso and his other television roles. He will be greatly missed.
