HBO's Divorce Starring Sarah Jessica Parker Returns July 1; Jimmy Kimmel Comedy Specials Return for 12th Straight Year Before NBA Finals Games
HBO has released the teaser trailer for the new season of the comedy Divorce starring Sex and the City alum Sarah Jessica Parker. The third season of Divorce follows Frances (star and executive producer Sarah Jessica Parker) and her ex-husband, Robert (Thomas Haden Church), as they encounter surprises that spin their post-divorce lives in unexpected directions. Molly Shannon, Talia Balsam, Becki Newton, Sterling Jerins and Charlie Kilgore also star alongside season three recurring cast members Tracy Letts, James Lesure and Dominic Fumusa. Divorce returns to HBO on July 1. HBO will air 6 episodes in this third season (the first season had 10 episodes, while the second season had 8 episodes).

For the 12th consecutive year in conjunction with the NBA Finals, ABC will present Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night. These special-edition episodes will air during prime time every night of the NBA Finals, beginning with Game One on Thursday, May 30 (before the game coverage in the east/central zones and after the game out west). Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night prime-time specials celebrate a unique blend of entertainment and sports with Kimmel's signature comedy bits and an all-star lineup of guests, including Anthony Anderson (To Tell the Truth), Jennifer Aniston (Murder Mystery), Chadwick Boseman (21 Bridges), Jamie Foxx (Live in Front of a Studio Audience, Beat Shazam), Tom Holland (Spider-Man: Far From Home), LL Cool J (Lip Sync Battle) and Adam Sandler (Murder Mystery), with special surprise appearances as well. Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night prime-time specials air 8 p.m. EDT/7 p.m. CDT and following the NBA Finals on the West Coast on ABC.

Antenna TV Holiday 2017 Schedule, Includes Christmas; HBO Returns Two Comedies in January

Two series are coming back to HBO this winter. The HBO comedy series Divorce and Crashing will return with back-to-back season premieres Sunday, Jan. 14, starting at 10:00 p.m. (ET/PT). Divorce, starring Sarah Jessica Parker, kicks off its eight-episode season Sunday, Jan. 14 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. Season two finds Frances (Parker) and her ex-husband, Robert (Thomas Haden Church), dealing with the aftermath of their explosive separation and learning to rebuild their lives. The show also stars Molly Shannon, Talia Balsam, Tracy Letts, Sterling Jerins and Charlie Kilgore. The series was created by Sharon Horgan; season two is executive produced by Jenny Bicks, Sarah Jessica Parker, Alison Benson, Sharon Horgan and Aaron Kaplan. Jenny Bicks serves as showrunner.
Crashing, created by and starring Pete Holmes, returns for its eight-episode second season Sunday, Jan. 14 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. Feeling lost in the universe, Pete (Holmes) has an enlightening conversation with an atheist, which sends him into a night of New York debauchery. This marks the beginning of a new season in which Pete starts to question his faith and find his voice. The series is executive produced by Pete Holmes, Judd Apatow and Judah Miller; co-executive producer, Igor Srubshchik; supervising producer, Oren Brimer; producers, Josh Church and Dave Rath.

CBS Picks Up Full Seasons of New Comedies; HBO Orders Second Seasons of Divorce, Insecure and Westworld
CBS announced full-season pickups for freshman sitcoms The Great Indoors and Man with a Plan, ordering six more episodes of both freshman comedies that premiered late in the fall, on Oct. 27 and Oct. 24, respectively. So, 19 episodes each for both sitcoms. CBS has now given full season episode orders to five of its new fall series. These comedies join the previously announced Bull, the season's #1 new program in total viewers; Kevin Can Wait, the season's #1 new comedy in total viewers; and MacGyver, Friday's #1 new series. In addition, CBS has ordered three more episodes of the sophomore medical drama Code Black, upping its total to 16 episodes. Man with a Plan stars Golden Globe Award winner Matt LeBlanc in a comedy about a contractor who starts spending more time with his kids when his wife goes back to work and discovers the truth every parent eventually realizes: their little angels are maniacs. And The Great Indoors stars Joel McHale in a comedy about a renowned adventure reporter for an outdoor magazine who must adapt to the times when he becomes the desk-bound boss to a group of millennials in the digital department of the publication. Jack has led a thrilling "outdoorsy" life exploring the edges of the earth while chronicling his adventures for Outdoor Limits.
HBO has renewed Divorce, Insecure and Westworld for second seasons. Set at the intersection of the near future and the reimagined past, the drama series Westworld is a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the evolution of sin, exploring a world in which every human appetite, no matter how noble or depraved, can be indulged. Westworld kicked off its ten-episode first season Oct. 2 on HBO, debuting hour-long episodes Sundays at 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT). Created for television by Jonathan Nolan & Lisa Joy, both of whom executive produce and write, with Nolan directing, the series is based on the 1973 film Westworld, written by Michael Crichton. Eve and In the House Back on BET; New Video for Sarah Jessica Parker's Divorce Comedy
BET has added Eve and In the House to its schedule featuring rappers Eve and LL Cool J. The sitcoms join the BET morning block of sitcoms from 8am-12pm, with Martin on Mondays, House of Payne on Tuesdays, Fresh Prince on Wednesdays, Eve on Thursdays and In the House on Fridays. Eventually the two new additions will air on most weeknights from 6-8pm, too, with an hour of each show. Eve and In the House will also air in late night blocks with The Jamie Foxx Show and The Game beginning at 2am. Eve starred Eve, Jason George, Ali Landry, Natalie Desselle-Reid, Brian Hooks, and Sean Maguire. It aired on the UPN from 2003-2006, with 66 episodes. In the House starred LL Cool J, Maia Campbell, Debbie Allen, Kim Wayans, and Alfonso Ribeiro. It aired on NBC from 1995-96, before moving to UPN from 1996-1999. Adult Swim Orders New Animated Comedy; Sarah Jessica Parker Returns to HBO with New Comedy
Adult Swim, basic cable's #1 network in total day with adults 18-24, 18-34, and 18-49, has greenlit Dream Corp, LLC., a new animated comedy series from creator Daniel Stessen (The Gold Sparrow) and executive produced by both American and British The Office alums, John Krasinski and Stephan Merchant, as well as Krasinski's Sunday Night partner Allyson Seeger. Dream Corp, LLC., an absurd workplace comedy set in a neglected dream therapy facility, continues Adult Swim's commitment to expanding their original programming slate with innovative animated shows like Rick and Morty and building their primetime audience.
The first Adult Swim original series to utilize the latest rotoscope technology, Dream Corp, LLC. will be an innovative standout in the current animation landscape. Each week viewers will watch as a rotating cast of desperate patients have their dreams recorded and analyzed by Dream Corp's absent-minded professor, Dr. Roberts (Jon Gries), and his team of unremarkable scientists.
