DMV Trailer for CBS; Mo Amer Returns to Netflix

DMV is a workplace comedy set in the place everyone dreads going most - the Department of Motor Vehicles - where employees are making minimum wage dealing with customers who are annoyed before they even walk in the door. Working at the East Hollywood DMV office are: Colette (Harriet Dyer), a driving examiner with a big heart and bad boundaries; Gregg (Tim Meadows), a misanthropic former English teacher; Vic (Tony Cavalero), a former bouncer who loves putting difficult drivers in their places; Barbara (Molly Kearney), a newly promoted manager who tries hard but often misses the mark; Noa (Alex Tarrant), a charming surfer who seems destined for much greater things; and Ceci (Gigi Zumbado), a scrappy photographer who isn't afraid to speak her mind. Fortunately, this quirky crew has each other to navigate the twists and turns of the DMV together.

DMV premieries Monday, October 13 at 8:30|7:30c on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.

Award-winning comedian Mo Amer returns to Netflix for his third Netflix stand-up special, Wild World. In this timely and fiercely honest hour, the comedian celebrates his Palestinian heritage, relives the birth of his son, takes aim at the TSA and much more.

Mo Amer created the critically acclaimed series, Mo, which aired for two seasons on Netflix. The series won a Gotham Award for Breakthrough Television Under 40 Minutes and the Peabody Award. His two previous specials, Mo Amer: Mohammed in Texas (2021) and Mo Amer: The Vagabond (2018) are available globally on Netflix. The release date for the special is October 28, 2025.

DMV, based on award-winning author Katherine Heiny’s short story, is a single-camera workplace comedy set at the place everyone dreads going most: the DMV. Our quirky and lovable characters are making minimum wage, doing a thankless job where customers are annoyed before they even walk in the door. Good thing they have each other.

DMV stars Harriet Dyer, Tim Meadows, Tony Cavalero, Molly Kearney, Gigi Zumbado and Alex Tarrant. Dana Klein will executive produce along with Aaron Kaplan, Wendi Trilling and Robyn Meisinger. Trent O'Donnell executive produced and directed the pilot from a script written by Klein. The series is produced by CBS Studios and will be distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.

In season-to-date multi-platform viewing, Animal Control more than doubles its Live + Same Day delivery and Going Dutch is Fox's most streamed new comedy this season. The single-camera shows, both wholly owned by Fox, will return in the 2025-2026 season. In addition to McHale, Animal Control stars Michael Rowland, Vella Lovell, Ravi Patel and Grace Palmer. In addition to Leary, Going Dutch stars Taylor Misiak, Danny Pudi, Laci Mosley and Hal Cumpston.
