Netflix Series Big Mouth Adds Stars; Alexa and Carlos PenaVega Return to Hallmark Channel for Film
Here's your first look at two new characters joining our offbeat preteen crew in season two of Big Mouth! "Gina", voiced by Gina Rodriguez (Jane The Virgin) is a girl on Missy and Jessi's soccer team who shakes up the social dynamics of the school... ...can you say "Drama Alert"?! "The Shame Wizard", voiced by David Thewlis (Fargo and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) is the Hormone Monster's mortal enemy who haunts the kids, stoking their deepest shame! Honestly, EVERYTHING is embarrassing this season, so stay tuned for more!
Big Mouth is a 10-episode, half-hour edgy adult animated comedy from real-life best friends Nick Kroll (Kroll Show, The League) and Andrew Goldberg (Family Guy) about the glorious nightmare that is teenaged puberty. Comedian John Mulaney lends his voice to the character of Andrew, while Kroll (who serves as co-creator, executive producer) voices many including best friend Nick. Maya Rudolph, Jason Mantzoukas, Jordan Peele, Fred Armisen, Andrew Rannells, Jenny Slate and Jessi Klein are among those who lend their voice to the series.
Amidst the glittering sea and sky of the Caribbean, real life cruise enthusiasts Alexa PenaVega (Spy Kids franchise) and her husband Carlos PenaVega (Big Time Rush) star in Love at Sea, a new, original movie airing on Hallmark Channel as part of the network's annual "Summer Nights" programming event. Based on Barbara Oliverio's book "Love on the Lido Deck," Love at Sea is the networks second collaboration with the PenaVegas, who also serve as first-time executive producers on the film.
Sweeping viewers away on a dream vacation, Love at Sea spans the vast and breathtaking Caribbean, sailing through exotic locales including Nassau, Bahamas and Basseterre, St. Kitts onboard Royal Caribbean's Harmony of the Seas. Love at Sea follows Olivia Grayham (Alexa PenaVega), a child of the hotel business, striking out on her own as an event planner. Tasked with organizing a multifaceted event for the fans onboard and online, Olivia has plotted the journey down to the last detail and planned for every possible contingency, or so she believes. She's no sooner onboard when she faces her first curveball: the ship's longtime cruise director has been reassigned and instead she will be working with his second-in-command, Tony Rieves (Carlos PenaVega), who has already begun putting his stamp on the ship's activities. With no option but to adjust to each unexpected development that comes her way, Olivia realizes that there are some things that simply can't be planned or anticipated - like falling love.
