Antenna TV's 2 Day Halloween Marathon of Bewitched, Hitchcock; ABC Family Commits to Nicki Minaj Comedy
Turn out the lights and turn on the TV, with Antenna TV's spooktacular Halloween programming, as the Tribune Broadcasting multicast network presents "Witch-O-Ween" and "Hitch-O-Ween" on October 30 and October 31. Beginning at midnight on October 30, Antenna TV will air "Witch-O-Ween" a Bewitched marathon with 26 episodes/13 hours of the best Bewitched beginning at 8pm ET, leading into "Hitch-O-Ween" an Alfred Hitchcock Presents marathon of 34 episodes/17 hours airing on Halloween beginning at 1pm ET. Antenna TV, which airs in in 111 TV markets across the US, reaches 79% of TV households. A good evening indeed! Episode info is still to be determined. Bewitched regularly airs Weekdays 12pm ET, Weekend Nights 1am ET, and Sundays 10am ET, while Alfred Hitchcock Presents regularly airs Sun & Mon mornings 4am ET.
Grammy Award(R)-nominated, multiplatinum superstar Nicki Minaj will executive produce a new scripted comedy series for ABC Family that she will also appear in. The single-camera comedy will shoot in her hometown of Queens, New York this winter. The half-hour comedy is based on Minaj and her family's immigration from Trinidad in the early 1990's. It will focus on her growing up in Queens with her vibrant family and the personal and musical evolution that led to her eventual rise to stardom. Kate Angelo (Sex Tape, Will and Grace, Bernie Mac) penned the pilot and will write and executive produce the series. Minaj, Aaron Kaplan (Life in Pieces, Chasing Life, and Divorce), Stella Bulochnikov and Brian Sher (Boss), and Gee Roberson will also serve as executive producers.
