ABC Family Schedule Change; TV Land PRIME Begins Tonight; Winner of Nick at Nite's Fido Awards
ABC Family has listed the change as Oct. 13-31 only, but that doesn't mean it won't be in effect for November as well. ABC Family November will be announced soon and hopefully 8 Simple Rules is either back from 3-4pm or placed in another time period. We will certainly let you know! There are no other changes to the line-up starting October 13.
As a reminder, TV Land premieres its new TV Land PRIME block in primetime tonight. This is NOT your Father's TV Land. Beginning, tonight, October 6, 2008, the network launches TV Land PRIME, a new primetime programming destination designed to appeal to the attitudes, life stage and interests of people in their 40s and 50s, catering specifically to people in their mid-40s. Equipped with a new logo, color scheme and on-air graphics, as well as the premieres of the original series Myths & Legends and the hit sitcom 3rd Rock From The Sun, TV Land PRIME will air Monday through Friday, 9PM to Midnight ET/PT with programming that is entertaining, engaging and escapist. Moving forward, all of TV Land's original programming, including the return of hit franchises High School Reunion, She's Got The Look, and the original series The Cougar, contemporary television series acquisitions and movies will premiere solely in this daypart. Scrubs, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and the Friday MovieLand block round out the TV Land PRIME schedule.
