RTN Renews Affiliates in Savannah and Myrtle Beach; Remembering Brett Somers

Retro Television Network (RTN) announced today that Media General has renewed its RTN affiliations in Savannah, GA and Myrtle Beach/Florence, SC for another year. RTN, which originally launched in both markets in the fall of 2006, currently airs on a digital stream of WSAV, the NBC affiliate in Savannah, and WBTW, the CBS affiliate in Myrtle Beach/Florence.
RTN is of course a television network that provides each affiliate a customized feed with hit classic TV shows. RTN is specifically designed to go on a broadcast digital channel and provides local broadcasters with a way to get ratings and successfully monetize their digital spectrum.

Game show legend Brett Somers passed away on Saturday and GSN will honor her in style. She was the popular Match Game panelist and will be honored by GSN in an all-day marathon Saturday, September 22. The Somers' Match Game tribute will air from 9 AM to 4 PM ET on Sept. 22 and will feature some of the best moments from her years of work on one of America's all-time favorite game shows.
Immediately following the marathon, GSN's original documentary THE REAL MATCH GAME STORY: BEHIND THE BLANK airs from 4 PM to 5 PM ET.
Additionally, on Sunday night (Monday morning) September 23 at 3:30 AM ET, GSN will air an episode of Password from 1971 where she appeared with then-husband Jack Klugman, as the other celebrity guest.
Over the years she has guest starred on many classic TV shows such as The Love Boat, Barney Miller, Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Odd Couple, Love American Style and more.

Tobin tries to keep his personal life separate from the documentary, but Reggie doesn't make it easy for him; Monica helps Brina with her music career.
