Sitcoms of Norman Lear Book; 'Benson' Friday Night Marathon

As we mentioned some months back, a new book on the great Norman Lear is coming out. Now we have full details right from the author himself! Sean Campbell has e-mailed us and even posted on our message boards on the details of the book. The book examines how Norman Lear's television programs (All in the Family, Good Times, Maude, The Jeffersons, Sanford and Son, and One Day at a Time) influenced American culture and future television for the better. This is Sean's first book, at the age of only 17, published by McFarland & Company.
Sean has one request for you buyers out there. He requests you buy the book online this Thursday (November 2) around 7-8PM ET. or at the very least, try to order it on Thursday. His goal is to spike his amazon.com ranking and make bestseller lists, which get sent all over the world. He hopes you'll spread the word to as many people as possible, and write amazon.com reviews. Finally, for the third straight week, TV Land has announced it will move the Friday Night Movie encore, this time to Saturday evening. This week's movie is Airplane!, it will still premiere Friday at 10 p.m., but the immediate encore has been moved. Instead we get 7 straight episodes of Benson between 12am-4am! Great news, but why can't TV Land just announce that Benson will be on every Friday night now, instead of announcing it a few days before the night it happens? Oh well.
