TV One Sitcom Holiday Week; Kate & Allie Heads on to DVD

TV One will be getting into the Christmas spirit with a week-long event featuring Christmas episodes of sitcoms Amen, 227, Good Times, Martin and In the House. They will air every Christmas episode for those series from Monday, December 19 through Friday, December 23. They will repeat them several times if you miss them. And if you still miss them, then catch an all-day Christmas Eve marathon. Will Reginald VelJohnson spoil Christmas for the Jenkins family on 227? Will Janet Jackson's Penny be fully adopted by Christmas on Good Times? And will there be a miracle on 134th Street on Amen? For that and more tune in to TV One's Sitcom Holiday Showcase! As we all know Universal is releasing two classic '80s sitcoms on Feb. 14--Charles in Charge and Gimme a Break! And on the Gimme a Break! set we will be getting a season one episode of Kate & Allie. Fans have asked and wondered if this means that Kate & Allie Season 1 is on its way or not? We have found out and the answer is YES! We can expect the first season of Kate & Allie by "late spring 2006." The classic '80s CBS sitcom starred Susan Saint James and the hilarious Jane Curtin. With the celebration of the U.S.'s 250th birthday coming up, the base's festivities are on the line when their supplies are held up by a petty and vengeful Davidson; Team Shiny must pull off a daring undercover mission.
