Apple TV+ Side Quest Launches March 26; Krysten Ritter Joins Dexter: Resurrection

Apple TV+ unveiled the trailer for the all-new anthology series Side Quest, hailing from the same team behind the beloved, acclaimed office comedy Mythic Quest. Set to premiere globally on Wednesday, March 26 on Apple TV+, all four episodes of Side Quest will debut alongside the season four finale of Mythic Quest.

An expansion of the Mythic Quest universe, Side Quest explores the lives of employees, player and fans who are impacted by the game in an anthology format. The series stars Rob McElhenney, Anna Konkle, Derek Waters, William Stanford Davis, Bria Samoné Henderson, Rome Flynn, Leonard Robinson, Gary Kraus, Annamarie Kasper, Esai Morales, Shalita Grant and many more in the leading roles across each installment.

Krysten Ritter - Dexter: Resurrection

SHOWTIME® announced that Krysten Ritter (Love & Death, Marvel’s Jessica Jones) will join the cast of the SHOWTIME® original series Dexter: Resurrection. Ritter will guest star in the role of Mia. Production for Dexter: Resurrection kicked off in January 2025 in New York and the series is set to launch in summer of 2025 on Paramount+ with SHOWTIME. The new original drama series stars SAG and Golden Globe® winner Michael C. Hall (Dexter®, Six Feet Under) in the titular role of Dexter Morgan. In addition to Hall, Dexter: Resurrection will also star Uma Thurman as Charley, David Zayas as Detective Angel Batista, Jack Alcott as Dexter’s son Harrison Morgan, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine as Blessing Kamara, Kadia Saraf as Detective Claudette Wallace, Dominic Fumusa as Detective Melvin Oliva, Emilia Suárez as Elsa Rivera, with James Remar as Dexter’s father Harry Morgan and Peter Dinklage as Leon Prater.

Most recently, Dexter®: Original Sin, a prequel series that follows Dexter (played by Patrick Gibson) as he transitions from student to serial killer, debuted last year and became the most streamed global original series for SHOWTIME® in ten years. The season finale aired in February.

Trailer for Apple TV+ Comedy Mythic Quest; Upcoming Season of Harlem Is Final Season

Apple TV+ dropped the hilarious trailer for the fourth season of Mythic Quest, the hit workplace comedy from creators Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Megan Ganz. The 10-episode new season will premiere globally on Wednesday, January 29 on Apple TV+, with the first two episodes, followed by one new episode weekly through Wednesday, March 26, 2025. Season four sees the return of stars McElhenney, Charlotte Nicdao, David Hornsby, Danny Pudi, Ashly Burch, Imani Hakim, Jessie Ennis and Naomi Ekperigin under the same fluorescent office lights as the reunited team at Mythic Quest confronts new challenges amongst a changing video game landscape as stars rise, egos clash, relationships bloom, and everyone tries to have a little more work work life balance.

In addition to the season four premiere, Mythic Quest fans can look forward to the global debut of its much-anticipated anthology series Side Quest on March 26, with all four episodes set to debut at launch. An expansion of the Mythic Quest universe, Side Quest explores the lives of employees, players and fans who are impacted by the game in an anthology format. Harlem

After a shocking Season Two finale cliffhanger that left audiences on the edge of their seats, Harlem will return for its third and final season on January 23, exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. From creator and writer Tracy Oliver (Girls Trip), Harlem Season Three will follow the core four women on the precipice of change like never before. Whether it be motherhood, singlehood, sisterhood, complicated career journeys, or even more complicated families, our stylish and ambitious best girlfriends strive to finally choose themselves above all else.

The final season will welcome newcomers Kofi Siriboe, Logan Browning, Robin Givens, and Gail Bean to join the cast in recurring roles. Siriboe will portray Seth, an MLB player whose confident, charming, and sweet mannerisms land him a spot in one of the ladies' hearts. Browning will portray Portia, an edgy and beautiful woman from Ian's (Tyler Lepley) childhood, whose return to Harlem causes a stir. Bean will portray Given's daughter Eva, a driven, yet playful venture capitalist who has started working with Tye (Jerrie Johnson).

Bookie Season 2 Premieres December 12 on Max; Apple TV+ Mythic Quest Is Back in January

From Emmy®-nominated creators Chuck Lorre and Nick Bakay, the Max Original comedy series Bookie returns for its second season Thursday, December 12. The eight-episode season, starring Sebastian Maniscalco and produced by Warner Bros. Television, will debut episodes weekly on Max leading up to the season finale on Thursday, January 30. From Emmy®-nominated creator Chuck Lorre (The Big Bang Theory) and Nick Bakay, this darkly funny comedy follows veteran Los Angeles bookie Danny (Sebastian Maniscalco) as the potential legalization of sports gambling in California threatens to upend his business for good. Alongside best friend and former NFL player Ray (Omar J. Dorsey), side-hustling sister Lorraine (Vanessa Ferlito), and reluctantly reformed drug dealer Hector (Jorge Garcia), Danny must contend with his increasingly unstable clients as he tries to settle their debts – all while making plenty of risky bets of his own. Full of relatable mishaps, Bookie chronicles one man’s journey to adapt to an ever-changing world as he attempts to charm and con his way to the top.
