Apple TV's 2026 Holiday Lineup; First Look at SCTV: The Greatest Show You've Never Heard Of

Apple TV is making the season merry and bright with holiday programming for the whole family, led by the all-new Peanuts special Snoopy Presents: 12 Days of Snoopy, premiering Friday, November 13. In the latest special under the acclaimed Snoopy Presents banner, the Peanuts kids are on their best behavior—but Snoopy has landed on Santa’s naughty list. With just 12 days until Christmas, he sets out to prove he’s not such a bad beagle after all, discovering along the way that the season is about more than gifts.

Scored by Emmy Award-nominated composer Jeff Morrow, Snoopy Presents: 12 Days of Snoopy features original music from an all-star lineup, including “Get Ready” by EGOT honoree John Legend, produced by multi-award winner Raphael Saadiq; “Trying To Get There” by Grammy Award winner Kamasi Washington, featuring Grammy Award winner Leon Bridges; and Grammy Award winner Laufey performing the holiday classic “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” produced by Spencer Stewart. Inspired by the beloved Peanuts comic strip by Charles M. Schulz, the special is produced by Peanuts and WildBrain, and is executive produced by Josh Scherba, Stephanie Betts, Logan McPherson, Paige Braddock, Chris Bracco and Mark Evestaff.

Also premiering this season is Fraggle Rock: A Holiday Gift, an all-new musical special from The Jim Henson Company, debuting Friday, December 4 and featuring an appearance by singer and actress Nicole Scherzinger. When Wembley is named Spirit Captain, he sets out to spread cheer throughout the Rock—but after the Fraggles unknowingly take a cherished snow globe from Doc’s workshop, the holiday spirit begins to fade. Wembley must find the courage to return it, learning that kindness, giving, and helping someone in need are the true gifts of the holidays.

The celebration continues with cherished Peanuts classics from Mendelson / Melendez Productions and Peanuts Worldwide, featuring the 60th anniversary of It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, alongside A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and A Charlie Brown Christmas streaming for free on October 17–18, November 14–15 and December 12–13, respectively. This programming is available to subscribers now and every day.

And, new family film Way of the Warrior Kid, starring Chris Pratt and Linda Cardellini will premiere on Wednesday, November 25. Middle school has been a nightmare for Marc (Jude Hill), a good kid who’s bullied by his classmates and feels like he’s behind in everything, from academics to P.E. to just making friends. That changes when his injured Uncle Jake (Pratt), a decorated Navy SEAL, comes to spend the summer and recuperate with Marc and his mom, Sarah (Cardellini). To help Marc defend himself, Jake devises an ambitious program he calls “Operation Warrior Kid” based on his SEAL training. Instead of teaching his nephew how to fight, Jake shows Marc what real courage is, facing down his own demons along the way.

Viewers can also stream a festive collection of Apple TV specials, films and holiday episodes, including The First Snow of Fraggle Rock; BAFTA Award-winning The Velveteen Rabbit, based on the beloved children’s classic; Hannah Waddingham: Home For Christmas, starring the Emmy Award-winning Ted Lasso favorite; hit musical comedy Spirited, starring Will Ferrell, Ryan Reynolds and Octavia Spencer; The Family Plan 2, starring Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Monaghan; Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special; Academy Award-winning The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse; A Carpool Karaoke Christmas; and seasonal favorites from Frog and Toad, Sago Mini Friends, Eva the Owlet, Shape Island, Interrupting Chicken, Pretzel and the Puppies, The Snoopy Show and Fraggle Rock.

Netflix has released a first look for the documentary SCTV: The Greatest Show You've Never Heard Of. Legendary SCTV cast members reunite in this documentary for a funny and heartfelt celebration of how a scrappy Canadian sketch show made comedy history. The doc drops October 30.

It chronicles the rise, fall, and enduring legacy of one of the most influential sketch comedyseries in television history. Through intimate interviews with surviving members of its legendary cast and an emotional reunion in Toronto, the film explores the creative partnership that transformed a small Canadian television production into a cultural phenomenon that launched some of comedy's most celebrated icons.

Featuring candid reflections, never-before-shared stories, and rare archival material, the documentary examines the artistic innovation that made SCTV a trailblazer while revealing the extraordinary friendships that have endured for more than fifty years. The film is a testament to the timeless power of collaboration and the lasting influence of artists whose work continues to influence comedy around the world.
