The Upshaws Final Season Premieres January 15; Mike Epps Gets 5th Netflix Special
Your favorite family is back for one final celebration! All the laughs. All the mess. All together. The Upshaws final season drops on January 15, only on Netflix. Part 7 of the long-running sitcom features 12 all-new episodes, including an unforgettable series finale.
Bennie Upshaw (Mike Epps), the head of a Black working class family in Indianapolis, is a charming, well-intentioned mechanic and lifelong mess just trying his best to step up and care for his family - wife Regina (Kim Fields), their two young daughters (Khali Spraggins, Journey Christine) and firstborn son (Jermelle Simon), the teenage son (Diamond Lyons) he fathered with another woman (Gabrielle Dennis) -- and tolerate his sardonic sister-in-law (Wanda Sykes), all without a blueprint for success. But the Upshaws are determined to make it work, and make it to the next level, together.

Dropping January 27, 2026 on Netflix. January is a big month for Epps. As mentioned above, Netflix's long-running sitcom, The Upshaws, returns with its final season on Thursday, January 15, 2026. Part 7 of the family comedy features 12 all-new episodes, leading up to an unforgettable series finale.
