Week 33 TV Ratings and Analysis; How the Sitcoms Did

2016-17 Week 33 TV Ratings (first four nights Mon-Thu):

Households: #1. CBS 4.88/9 rating/share (+26% in rating from first four nights week 32); #2. NBC 3.73/7 (-5%); #3. ABC 3.44/6 (+1%); #4. Fox 1.93/3 (-3%); #5. The CW 0.86/2 (+2%).
Total Viewers: #1. CBS 7.707 million (+28% from first four nights week 32); #2. NBC 5.818 million (-5%); #3. ABC 5.236 million (+2%); #4. Fox 3.000 million (-2%); #5. The CW 1.530 million (+15%).
Adults 18-49: #1. CBS 1.27/5 rating/share (+25% in rating from first four nights week 32); #2. ABC  1.16/5 (+3%); #3. NBC 1.14/4 (-5%); #4. Fox 0.95/4 (+1%); #5. The CW 0.46/2 (even)

We have previous week's final ratings, Week 32 (4/24/17-4/30/17, LIVE+SD). NBC won the week in A18-49 and did a 1.07 rating.  ABC was #2 with a 0.90 rating.  CBS was #3 with a 0.88 rating, while Fox was #4 with a 0.76 rating. What a low week.  Among total viewers, CBS was #1 with 6.201 million, with NBC #2 at 5.313 million.  ABC was #3 with 4.052 million and Fox at #4 with 2.430 million.

For season to-date (9/19/16-5/4/17, LIVE+SD), NBC is 1 in A18-49 with a 1.72 rating, followed by Fox at #2 with a 1.59 rating thanks to the Super Bowl and also heavily inflated by a high 7-game World Series. Without those 2 events, Fox would be #4. CBS is  #3 with a 1.45 rating and ABC at #4 with a 1.20 rating. Among total viewers it is CBS #1 at 8.090 million, followed by the dropping NBC at #2 with 6.892 million. Super Bowl/World Series boosted Fox still at #3 with 5.125 million as ABC is #4 with 4.991 million. ABC could likely overtake Fox in total viewers by the end of season, in the next few weeks.

Back to week 33 (May 1-7), read our full night-by-night analysis followed by how the sitcoms did! GREAT showings are in BOLD. If they are in bold in both total viewers and 18-49, then it is very impressive:
