BET Fall 2011 Schedule Has My Wife & Kids; ION Schedules Flashpoint In October 2011

Today we have BET's Fall 2011 schedule for you! We will of course only cover the sitcom portion of it. We hinted a few times that a new sitcom will be joining the line-up and we can now reveal what that is! BET will borrow the rights to the sitcom My Wife & Kids from sister network Nick at Nite and will start airing the sitcom this October. Both cable networks are owned by Viacom. Nick at Nite is also expected to continue to air the series in primetime, as both networks will share the series with ABC Family. BET will air the Damon Wayans sitcom weekdays at 12 & 12:30pm and also 5:00pm & 5:30pm starting Monday, October 3. My Wife & Kids will replace The Jamie Foxx Show in the 12pm hour, as that series seems like will be leaving the line-up. Not to worry because sister network Centric will still air the comedy. The 5pm hour airings will replace The Parkers, which will slide up to the 4pm hour and that will slide Everybody Hates Chris to the 3pm hour. As of now, The Game is not on the regular line-up, but that is nothing to worry about because it always returns...and plus they will be airing 22 all-new episodes in early 2012, as season five premieres.
The full weekday sitcom schedule will start at 8am with an hour of Everybody Hates Chris, followed by a two-hour block of Bernie Mac from 9am-11am. Then the 11am will have The Parkers leading into My Wife & Kids in the 12pm hour. A movie follows at 1pm then it's back to sitcoms with an hour of Everybody Hates Chris at 3pm, then The Parkers at 4pm leading into My Wife & Kids at 5pm.
On weekends, there will be a sitcom block as well. But the times vary usually. You can expect sitcoms usually between 9am-5pm on Saturdays and 10:30am-2pm on Sundays. Sitcoms include Bernie Mac, Everybody Hates Chris, The Parkers and My Wife & Kids. Stunt wise, BET will air a Girlfriends marathon, from sister network Centric, on Sunday, Oct. 8 from 8am-7pm.
If anything should change, we will be back to tell you. So keep checking everyday. And we will be back with Centric's Fall 2011 schedule very soon! Check back everyday!

We have a third update to ION's fall 2011 schedule. This time it isn't anything major, as yesterday's changes with the addition of George Lopez. ION Television previously announced they would air episodes of the Canadian drama Flashpoint but now we have a lunch date! ION Television premieres its newly acquired hit police drama Flashpoint on Tuesday, October 18 at 10pm ET/PT with new original episodes. ION Television, the new home for the award-winning series, will schedule Flashpoint in a two-hour block on Tuesdays from 10pm-12am (encores 1am and 2am) ET/PT and again on Saturdays from 9-11pm (encores 1am and 2am) ET/PT. So the schedule is only affected by these Flashpoint changes.
View (again) the updated ION Television Fall 2011 schedule.
