New York City's Annual Honeymooners New Year's Marathon; Syfy To Air The Green Hornet 60s Series
We don't have episode info just yet, so stay tuned for that!
Syfy gets ready for The Green Hornet big screen movie by airing a marathon of ALL 26 half-hour episodes of the classic TV series The Green Hornet on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 from 10am-11pm! The series aired on ABC in 1966-67 and starred Van Williams as the Green Hornet/Britt Reid and the late Bruce Lee as Kato. The Green Hornet and Kato also made about three appearances on ABC's Batman starring Adam West that same season. Two episodes of the classic series The Greatest American Hero will air before the marathon from 8-10am.
In the upcoming big screen movie, a slimmed down Seth Rogen stars as the Green Hornet/Britt Reid and Taiwanese singer/actor Jay Chou plays Kato. The film is being produced by Sony Pictures, which did not produce the original series. 20th Century Fox produced the '60s series. The film hits theatres on Friday, Jan. 14 and Van Williams will have a cameo.
