A New Boy in the Neighborhood and a Coach to WWOR; Part 1 of Week Long Paramount TV DVD News

Today I thought I'd post some news early. So you never know what time I post news. Just keep checking throughout the day!
There is a 'new boy in the neighborhood' and a 'Coach' coming to WWOR (UPN9 in NYC) starting Sept. 26. Yes, the 80's series Charles in Charge (pictured) and the popular sitcom Coach are both coming to WWOR starting Sept. 26 airing 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., replacing an episode of Cops and Spin City. I posted WWOR's fall schedule a few weeks back and did indicate that we might see Charles on the schedule soon, and it did happen. Charles in Charge has aired in the NYC market before on WPIX and then later on WLNY-55. Coach also aired on WPIX previously, some years back. While Coach can still be seen on cable on USA Network in the morning, Charles is not on cable at all, just on select locals throughout the country. Scott Baio, Nicole Eggert and Craig T. Nelson are among the stars in these shows.

Now for our week long feature (Sept. 13-16) on Paramount Home Entertainment's TV on DVD for 2006. Now, remember the titles I'm giving throughout this week are not officially released yet, so the titles can be scrapped entirely without notice. That is why it is best to just check TVShowsonDVD.com. I have gotten word on about four new series coming to DVD from Paramount. To launch this week long feature, we will take 'flight' with a perfect show to take us off. That is of course, the popular NBC series from the '90s--Wings! Wings is finally coming to DVD and I know there are many fans waiting for this show on DVD (including a ton on our boards) and will be VERY happy. Now remember, this is NOT official, so don't get really excited yet. But you can get a little excited, since you know it is in the works. I don't know when in 2006 it is coming but you can right now watch Wings on TV every night on TV Land. Stay tuned tomorrow for part two of our four-day feature on Paramount Home Entertainment.

Since it is still early, I could still edit in some news later today, if anything is noteworthy. I'll label it as "breaking news" or "UPDATE" so you will know what is new.
