The Hub Remembers Robin Williams on Friday; Comedy Central Picks Up 2nd Season of @midnight
The Hub Network is paying tribute to the legendary actor Robin Williams with a special airing of the Happy Days episode "My Favorite Orkan," which will air two times in succession on Friday, August 15 at 9pm and 9:30pm ET/6pm and 6:30 pm PT. This episode introduced the now famous alien Mork and landed Williams his first starring television role in the popular sitcom Mork & Mindy. Fans everywhere will get to enjoy the episode with the alternative ending that paved the way for Mork & Mindy with an on air tribute during the hour in honor of this Oscar award-winning actor and beloved comedian. In "My Favorite Orkan," Richie (Ron Howard) seemingly dreams about an alien named Mork (guest star Robin Williams) who tries to take him back to his home planet, but must compete with Fonzie (Henry Winkler) first who will not let Mork take his best friend without a fight. And as we mentioned, MeTV remembered the legendary Robin Williams on Monday (August 11) by airing his first appearance as Mork on Happy Days and another episode ("Mork Returns") last night (August 12) at 8:30. Stay with us for more updates on any other tributes or marathons.

Blossom Reunion on The Hub; Mystery Girls Premiere Episode Switch on ABC Family
As we mentioned, reruns of the popular '90s sitcom Blossom are coming to The Hub in a few weeks (starting July 7). Now we have learned that most of the cast reunited for some promos and a photo shoot to celebrate the series returning in reruns. Reuniting were Mayim Bialik, Jenna von Oy, Joey Lawrence and Michael Stoyanov. They got together almost 15 years after Blossom ended. Bialik tweeted, "The HubTVNetwork shoot for the #blossomreunion is going great!!!!" She added, "Um...@joeylawrence @MikeStoyanov @JennavonOy. We still look like young whippersnappers @hubtvnetwork #blossomreunion" We can't wait to see the show back in reruns on July 7 on The Hub! The cast of The Wonder Years recently reunited as well for a piece on the upcoming Wonder Years DVD and of course Boy Meets World is coming back with a new series, Girl Meets World, at the end of this month. It's the return of the '90s, indeed! We're not getting a reunion or retrospective or anything for Blossom, but it's always cool to see a cast reunite, even just for a photo shoot and promos. Stay with us for continued updates! Whoa!
Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth reunite in ABC Family's new comedy Mystery Girls, premiering next Wednesday (June 25) at 8:30pm ET/PT. The premiere episode will now be a different episode. The sitcom follows Charlie Contour (Garth), a suburban housewife and mother, and Holly Hamilton (Spelling), who longs for her glory days in the 90's when she was on television starring with Charlie as the "Mystery Girls." Both of their lives are disrupted when Nick (Miguel Pinzon), a witness to a crime and a "Mystery Girls" fanatic, will only speak to the infamous duo, and the former friends must reunite and put their TV crime-solving skills to the test.
In the new premiere episode, "Death Becomes Her," Nick discovers an online rumor going around that Holly is dead, but instead of immediately correcting it, they start selling some of her unwanted belongings online to make extra money and find that someone is trying to sell a sex tape from her TV show days. The 'Mystery Girls' let the rumor flourish and throw a fake memorial service, complete with Holly in disguise, in order to track down the culprit. The actual pilot episode, "Pilot," which was slated to air on this night, will now air a few weeks later on Wednesday, July 16.

Episodes from the classic, trend-setting series will air weekdays at 10pm ET and 10:30pm ET/7:00pm and 7:30pm PT on the Hub Network, champions of family fun and the only network dedicated to providing kids and families entertainment they can watch together. King, Alex Trebek, Recording artist Little Richard, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Major League Baseball player Reggie Jackson, Arsenio Hall, Brittany Murphy, David Arquette, Tori Spelling and Singer-songwriter Melissa Manchester. The Hub Network has licensed all five seasons of Blossom (113 episodes) from the Disney-ABC Television Group. Pretty Little Liars has been picked up for not one but two more seasons! The hit series started airing its fifth season last night and now ABC Family has picked up a sixth AND seventh season! The network has picked up an unprecedented two seasons of its longest-running original hit series, Pretty Little Liars, from Warner Horizon Television. Season six is set to air mid-2015, and season seven is set to air mid-2016. It will likely follow the pattern of a summer run for its first half and then a winter run to complete its season. Pretty Little Liars is ABC Family's #1 series in the network's history in Total Viewers (3.8 million) and across all target demos: Adults 18-34 (1.5 million/2.2 rating), Women 18-34 (1.3 million/3.7 rating), Adults 18-49 (2.0 million/1.6 rating), Women 18-49 (1.7 million/2.7 rating), Viewers 12-34 (2.6 million/2.8 rating) and Females 12-34 (2.3 million/4.9 rating). In fact, PLL has been TV's #1 cable telecast in the hour for 95-consecutive original telecasts in Females 12-34 - every telecast since its June 2010 series launch - for 47 in Adults 18-34, for 54 in Women 18-34, for 50 in Women 18-49 and for 58 in Viewers 12-34.
Last night's season 5 premiere of Pretty Little Liars entitled "EscApe From New York" picked up where the season four finale left off, with Aria and the Liars reeling from Ezra's shooting at the hands of "A." The five girls quickly realized that as the one person who truly knows "A's" identity, Ezra is in grave danger. While Aria stood watch over Ezra at the hospital, Alison and the PLLs layed a trap to finally flush out "A" and were shocked by who was ensnared.

NBC to Revive Heroes as Mini-Series; The Hub's Tia & Tamera-Thon on March 7 with 10 Sister Sister Episodes
NBC is bringing back its conquering Heroes. An iconic series that still commands a rabid fan base (with reruns airing on G4), Heroes will return to the network in 2015 as an event miniseries with original creator and executive producer Tim Kring at the helm. NBC has ordered 13 episodes for a new stand-alone story arc entitled Heroes Reborn, with all details of storylines and characters being kept under wraps. The original series chronicled the life-changing stories of a series of unrelated ordinary people who discovered they had superhuman abilities. As the saga unfolded, they learned they were part of a grand plan that brought them together to change the world. With the return of Heroes Reborn, NBC will launch a digital series prior to the 2015 premiere that will introduce the characters and new storylines. This leveraging of social media is a way for fans to re-engage with what was one for the true pioneers in multiplatform storytelling.
The iconic sci-fi series, which ran on NBC from 2006-10 and was an immediate hit, ranked as television's #1 new drama with an average audience of 14.5 million viewers during its initial season. The show was Golden Globe-nominated in its first year of eligibility for best drama series; it won the BAFTA Award for best international series, the AFI Award, the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films Saturn Award, two People's Choice Awards and the Television Critics Association Award for Program of the Year. Fun Fact: The series remains one of the best-selling TV series on DVD of all time with more than 10 million units sold. Stay tuned for continued updates, as this is the second series to be revived, with the other being 24: Live Another Day, of course. But unlike that series, this series might be brand new characters all-around, but we shall see.
Last week we mentioned Sister, Sister coming to The Hub Network, but now we have one additional detail. There will be a special TGIF-style marathon! In celebration of this acquisition, viewers can tune in to the Hub Network's special "Tia & Tamera-Thon" featuring 10 fun-filled episodes on Friday, March 7 from 7pm-12am ET/4pm-9pm PT. Separated at birth, identical twins Tia Landry and Tamera Campbell (Tia and Tamera Mowry) reunite as teenagers and live under one roof with their adoptive parents, Lisa Landry and Ray Campbell (Jackée Harry and Tim Reid). Together, this unconventional blended family learns lessons in life, laughter and love. The Hub Network has acquired all six seasons of Sister, Sister (119 episodes), which is distributed by CBS Television Distribution, and will air it regularly weekdays 7-8pm ET and encores 2-3am ET. It's double the trouble and twice the fun! Tune in and stay with us for continued updates.

Sister, Sister Coming to The Hub in March; TNT's Dallas Gas Promotion, Season 3 Launches Monday
Sister, Sister is coming to The Hub this March! The '90s sitcom starring Tia & Tamera Mowry will join the lineup on Monday, March 3, 2014 and will air weeknights at 7pm & 7:30pm ET with an encore at 3:00am & 3:30am ET. The sitcom will join the likes of other sitcoms on The Hub: Step by Step, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Family Ties and ALF. No sitcoms will be removed with this addition, so that is good news. The 7pm hour will replace Family Game Night, while the 2am encore replaces the Step by Step encore, which slides to 3am. Not to worry, the 10pm-12am block of back-to-back Step by Step and single episodes of Sabrina and Family Ties will remain intact. They will encore 3-5am, with ALF in the 5am hour still.
Sister, Sister will still continue to air on UP on Saturday mornings. The series has also been seen on Style in 2012 and prior to that the series aired on Centric. Now the series will be on both UP and The Hub come March. Like the twins, you'll be seeing double! Stay with us for continued updates.
Fill 'er up! The Ewings, television's first family of bad, will celebrate the season three premiere of TNT's hit series Dallas the only way they know how: big and bold. The Ewings are set to take over a gas station, slashing prices for one day only. The flagship station – with a location that will be kept secret until Monday, Feb. 24, at 8am (ET) – will be branded Ewing Energies. Dallas fans will learn about the one-day event through a multi-media campaign. Season three of Dallas will launch next Monday, Feb. 24, at 9pm ET/PT. The Ewings like to do everything on a Texas-sized scale, so their gas prices will undercut the competition while supplies last. The Dallas gas station takeover campaign will feature a New York Times ad announcing the price cut, radio promotions, billboards, wrapped oil tankers and special video messages by John Ross Ewing (played by Josh Henderson) on Facebook. The Ewings have thought of everyone, too. For those not near the flagship station, TNT will run a sweepstakes via the Dallas Facebook page, where fans have the chance to win a custom Black Gold Card with a $50 balance.
TNT's hit series Dallas follows the internal and external conflicts facing the wealthy Ewing family. The drama stars Jesse Metcalfe, Josh Henderson, Jordana Brewster, Julie Gonzalo, Brenda Strong, Mitch Pileggi and Emma Bell, with Patrick Duffy and Linda Gray. Season three of Dallas will also see the addition of Juan Pablo Di Pace as a regular cast member and the return of guest stars Ken Kercheval, Judith Light, Kuno Becker and Marlene Forte. In addition, AnnaLynne McCord is set to guest-star in several episodes.

Step by Step Posts Solid Ratings on The Hub; Fox Picks Up Full Season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Gets Post-Super Bowl Slot with New Girl
The Hub launched Step by Step on its line-up two weeks ago on Oct. 7 and since its debut, the series has posted solid ratings from Oct. 7-18. In primetime (airing anytime between 7-11pm) the sitcom has averaged 127,000 total viewers and over 67,000 viewers adults 18-49, higher than The Hub's other sitcoms in October primetime that air during the 10pm hour (ALF 39,000 viewers adults 18-49, Happy Days 55,000 viewers adults 18-49, Laverne & Shirley 56,000 viewers adults 18-49 and Mork & Mindy 29,000 viewers). The sitcom is also building on its animated lead-ins, an hour each of Tiny Toons Adventures & Animaniacs, from 5-7pm among adults 18-49. Those two series have averaged 43,000 and 57,000 viewers adults 18-49, respectively for October to-date from 5-7pm. Step by Step is also appealing to the younger demo of kids 2-11 with nearly 39,000 viewers, helped by its animated lead-in. And finally, in its first two weeks, the '90s sitcom has improved the time period (weekdays 7-8pm) from the prior two weeks among adults 18-49 by nearly 29%, from 52,000 viewers to 67,000 viewers. "We'll make it better...the second time around," indeed! Step by Step airs weekdays from 7-8pm and encores from 2-3am only on The Hub.
Fox has picked up nine additional episodes of the arresting new comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine, bringing the series to a full 22-episode order for the season. In addition, Brooklyn Nine-Nine will join New Girl in a special one-hour comedy event, airing immediately following the Super Bowl XLVIII on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014. Through five telecasts, the comedy is averaging a 2.1/6 among Adults 18-49 with 4.9 million total viewers, according to Nielsen's most current data (Live+7/Live+3 mix). In "Halloween," tonight's all-new episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, airing at 8:30 PM ET/PT on Fox, it's Halloween night, a busy time of the year for any police precinct. Amy (Melissa Fumero) detests the holiday, and is not thrilled when she has to don a costume to go undercover on street patrol with Charles (Joe Lo Truglio). Back at the precinct, Jake (Andy Samberg) bets Captain Holt (Andre Braugher) that he can steal his Medal of Valor before midnight, which results in him bringing out some costumes of his own.

The Hub Acquires Step by Step Starting October 2013; New Series Sabrina Secrets of a Teenage Witch Coming to The Hub on Saturdays
Three weeks ago we released The Hub's September line-up and we didn't call that the "fall" line-up. Why? Because the schedule is changing in October and we have news on a sitcom that we have always thought would be a perfect fit for The Hub. That sitcom is...Step by Step, as we first announced on Friday on Twitter! The Hub Network, a destination for kids and their families, continues to add to its slate of fun family programming with the Hub Network premiere of the hit 90s TGIF sitcom Step by Step, Monday, October 7, 7 pm ET/4 pm PT. The series will air weekdays at 7 pm and 7:30 pm ET/4 pm and 4:30 pm PT. Step by Step has not aired on television in more than three years since it last aired on cable on ABC Family from 2001-2010. The series originally aired on ABC from 1991-1998 (with the last season on CBS). In the hit series, Suzanne Somers and Patrick Duffy star as two mismatched parents who meet on vacation, fall in love and spontaneously decide to marry. The newlyweds both have three children and must face the monumental challenge of blending their very different families into one.
We will have more on Step by Step on The Hub soon, along with details on The Hub's full October 2013 schedule. What else will change? Stay tuned. Step by Step featured stars like Patrick Duffy, Suzanne Somers, Staci Keanan, Brandon Call, Angela Watson, Christine Lakin, Christopher Castile, Josh Byrne, Sasha Mitchell, Jason Marsden, and Bronson Pinchot. We stick with The Hub for our second story, as The Hub has announced something else for October 2013. It will once again dominate Halloween with its annual Haunted Hub programming line-up, a month-long celebration of all things spooky, featuring the premieres of two original Hub Network series; the first-ever, star-studded Halloween Bash with a 50-state costume contest that anyone can enter and anyone can win; and Halloween-themed movies and stunts the entire family will enjoy. The spook-tacular schedule includes the premiere of the new animated series, Sabrina Secrets of a Teenage Witch, starring the voice of Ashley Tisdale, on Saturday, October 12, 12 pm ET/9 am PT. Also on Saturday, October 12 at 7 pm ET/4 pm PT, new episodes of the 2013 Daytime Emmy® Award-winning series R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour: The Series return. The Haunted Hub celebration also includes the Hub Network's biggest event ever -- The Hub Network's First Annual Halloween Bash,” Saturday, October 26, 8–10 pm ET/5–7 pm PT, featuring the first-ever nationwide Halloween costume competition. Sabrina Secrets of a Teenage Witch features the iconic teen character re-imagined for a new generation in an all-new animated series starring the voice of Ashley Tisdale (High School Musical). When her two worlds collide, Sabrina is the only one who has the power to battle her foes, while managing to keep her magical identity a secret from humankind. The series is produced by Moonscoop; Archie Comic Publications, Inc.; DSK Group, India; Laughing Lion; and Telegael Teoranta. Sabrina Secrets of a Teenage Witch premieres Saturday, October 12, 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT, which is its regularly scheduled time period.

The Hub September 2013 Schedule; Adam West to Narrate ReelzChannel TV Series
The Hub this September won't be making many changes and the sitcoms and TV series airing will continue to air. Monday-Thursday from 10pm-12am will remain classic sitcoms (with an encore from 2-4am). Every Monday in September will be Happy Days, while every Tuesday in September in this block will be its spin-off Laverne & Shirley. Another Happy Days spin-off will air in the block on Wednesday, this time the Robin Williams sitcom Mork & Mindy. And on Thursdays, it's everyone's favorite alien from Melmac - ALF! On Fridays, Sept. 6 and Sept. 13, Family Game Night will air at 10pm leading into two episodes of the '90s drama Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. At 1am another '90s drama will air, as Hercules: The Legendary Journey airs. After game show Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader airs from 2-3am, it's time for some sitcoms from 3-5am, with an hour of Happy Days, followed by an episode each of its spin-offs Laverne & Shirley and Mork & Mindy. And the day closes with Honey, I Shrunk The Kids: The TV Show at 5am. Starting Sept. 20, there will be some changes to the Friday schedule. 10pm will still be Family Game Night airings, but this time the 11pm-1am block will be Hercules: The Legendary Journey instead. Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman moves to 1am & 2am, as Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader is off the line-up. The sitcom block from 3-5am will remain as is (an hour of Happy Days, followed by an episode each of its spin-offs Laverne & Shirley and Mork & Mindy), but at 5am we have the return of Sliders to the schedule.
On Saturdays after a movie at 10, R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour: The Series and Goosebumps airs in the 12am hour. Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman follows at 1am & 2am, leading into Hercules: The Legendary Journey at 3am. An episode each of sitcoms Laverne & Shirley and Mork & Mindy air in the 4am hour, while the 5am hour will be original series encores of Scrabble Showdown and Pictureka! On Sundays, it's sitcom night with back-to-back episodes of sitcoms from 10pm-1am, with an hour each of ALF, Happy Days, and Laverne & Shirley, followed by an immediate encore of all three hours from 1am-4am. Animated series will air from 4-6am (G.I. Joe Renegades, Dennis and Gnasher, Cosmic Quantum Ray and In the Night Garden). Back to weeknights, from 8-10pm leading into the sitcom blocks will be movies. The week of Sept. 2 will be "The Totally Hubular 80's Movie Week" with The Hub premieres of Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, Big Top Pee-Wee and Troop Beverly Hills. Thursday will have an encore of Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, while Friday has a second play of Big Top Pee-Wee. The week concludes on Saturday with an encore of Troop Beverly Hills at 8 into Muppets From Space at 10 (which encores the next night at 8pm).
That's all for The Hub in September. There are no signs of Who's the Boss?, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Family Ties, Doogie Howser M.D. or Facts of Life returning. Besides the Friday night change beginning Sept. 20, there are not many changes to the schedule in primetime and late night (where they air TV series/sitcoms). We will let you know should anything change in October and if there will be any new acquisitions. Personally, we're waiting for them to acquire Step by Step, Perfect Strangers and Family Matters already. That's just our preference. Stay with us for continued updates!
Holy narration, Batman! ReelzChannel has announced the premiere of its new original reality series FanAddicts! on Wednesday, August 28, 2013, which goes inside the world's most incredible movie memorabilia collections and introduces viewers to the unforgettable fans who will stop at nothing to obtain a new item. Despite their homes, storage lockers and garages overflowing, these fans persist in a never-ending quest for more rare collectibles from their favorite movies. Classic Batman Adam West is the voice of the series taking viewers inside the lives of these obsessed aficionados. The FanAddicts! premiere features two back-to-back episodes starting at 10pm ET/PT with FanAddicts!: Harry Potter followed by FanAddicts!: Superman at 10:30pm ET/PT. Reelz is excited to have classic Batman Adam West as the voice of the series given he is the ultimate kitsch superhero and makes for a perfect pairing with beguiling, guilty pleasure TV. Let's hope an episode focuses on Batman as well! Our old chum Adam West is 84 (and will be 85 next month) and still very much active. His voice was on an episode of Futurama earlier this month as Adam West, with the Boy Wonder, Burt Ward also guest voicing. Adam also continues to voice on Family Guy as Mayor Adam West.

They're tiny, they're toony...they're all a little loony and in this cartoony, they're invading your TV (again)! The Hub's New Late Night Sitcom Block; WGN Radio Talks to Marion Ross, New Sitcom Reading in Chicago This Weekend (April 13-14)
As we broke back on March 11, The Hub has acquired Who's the Boss? and they started airing it last week, but now we have more updates on The Hub's schedule. Who's the Boss? airs Tuesday nights 12-2am ET but we didn't mention in the original story that it also now airs in late nights on most weeknights (Mon-Wed nights) at 3:30am. Surrounding the sitcom on those nights is Laverne & Shirley at 2am, Happy Days at 2:30am, and Mork & Mindy at 3am, with the aforementioned Who's the Boss?, to create a two-hour, late night sitcom block. Sitcoms are no longer airing in primetime, except for ALF on Sunday nights 9-11pm and Thursdays 8-9pm, and The Hub's You Rule Thursday block (9pm-12am, encores 1-4am). On to the weekend, Friday nights from 2-3am had The Facts of Life, but now they have removed that hour with repeats of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader. Not to worry, The Facts of Life will still be featured from time to time on You Rule Thursday block. Happy Days (3-4am), Laverne & Shirley (4am) and Mork & Mindy (4:30am) remain on Friday nights. On Saturday nights, we have Happy Days (3-4am) and Laverne & Shirley (4am) only. And finally on Sunday nights, we have ALF at 1am, Mork & Mindy at 1:30am, followed by the unchanged Doogie Howser at 2am, Family Ties at 2:30am, and Sabrina the Teenage Witch at 3am. As mentioned earlier, in primetime on Sundays we have ALF from 9-11pm, which recently replaced Lois & Clark, which is off the line-up for now. Stay with us for continued updates on The Hub and tune in tonight for the new late night Hub sitcom block beginning at 2am ET!
Marion Ross, who is best known of course as Mrs. Cunningham on the '70s sitcom Happy Days and of course one of the celebrities we have interviewed back in 2011, was recently on WGN Radio in Chicago on the new TV pilot she is working on, her past TV appearances before Happy Days (Life with Father, Rawhide, Hawaii Five-0, etc), of course Happy Days, and current appearances later this spring on ABC's The Middle, Anger Management and more. So what pilot is she in? fubble entertainment, LLC. founded by the Emmy® award-winning team of Teresa L. Thome and Patrick W. Ziegler, will stage a public reading and filming of their sitcom in development, I've Got a Life in Kalamazoo. The event, in partnership with Chicago's Museum of Broadcast Communications, features an award-winning cast led by triple threat performer Vicki Lewis (NewsRadio, Broadway/Chicago, Finding Nemo), multiple Emmy® and Golden Globe winner, Ed Asner (The Mary Tyler Moore Show), and Emmy® and Golden Globe Nominee, Marion Ross (Happy Days, Brothers & Sisters, Gilmore Girls). Gregory Jbara (Tony Award® – Billy Elliot, Blue Bloods/CBS) and two-time Emmy® winner Patrick W. Ziegler are also featured in the cast. The reading will take place at the Museum of Broadcast Communications at 360 N. State Street in downtown Chicago with two readings -- Saturday, April 13 at 7:30 pm CT and Sunday, April 14 at 2:00 pm CT. Tickets, on sale now at www.LifeInKzoo.com, range in price from $22 to $155. Some pricing includes VIP options to meet and dine with the cast. All audience members will be given the opportunity to provide feedback. Proceeds will benefit the Museum of Broadcast Communications. Additional partners include The MeTV Network, WCIU, The U and Sol Design, with support from Bryan Cave, LLP. fubble is promising an engaging, entertaining, and one-of-a-kind experience. I’ve Got A Life in Kalamazoo is about Nilah Hoyer (Lewis), a small town singer/performer. In the midst of a mid-life crisis, Nilah decides to finally attempt to move her career to the next level. With a best friend, Clayton Croft, living the fabulous life in Chicago, urging her to move to the Windy City, and a husband who merrily rolls along with all the punches, this is finally her moment. With one phone call, a turn of events occurs and Nilah must stay in Kalamazoo – reluctantly – to care for her aging parents, Bob and Imelda Hoyer. Stay tuned for further updates on this potential pilot, but if you're in Chicago, go watch the pilot taping! Anyway, listen to the great interview Marion gives to WGN Radio's Dave Plier.

Who's the Boss? Coming to The Hub in April; MeTV Presents Valerie Harper Week, with Classic Mary Tyler Moore Episodes
The Hub is adding another classic sitcom to its nighttime line-up this April! Beginning Tuesday, April 2, 2013, the hit '80s sitcom Who's the Boss? makes its way to The Hub line-up with a bang. The series will air with four-episode stacks on The Hub every Tuesday night at 12am-2am ET/9pm-11pm PT, replacing an animated series block. We don't have any other scheduling information regarding The Hub in April just yet, but we're sure you'll likely see Who's the Boss? pop-up as an option for you to vote for on The Hub You Rule Thursday block as well. Who's the Boss? currently also airs on TV Guide Network (since last July) and will continue to do so when The Hub begins airing it starting this April. The more Tony Danza, Judith Light, and Alyssa Milano... the better! Who's the Boss? joins other sitcom offerings on The Hub like Sabrina the Teenage Witch, The Facts of Life, ALF, Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, Mork & Mindy, Family Ties, and Doogie Howser M.D. We hope we have more join the network soon, especially series not on television currently like Step by Step and Perfect Strangers.
Who's the Boss? originally aired from 1984-1992 on ABC. When a career-ending injury forces a baseball star (Tony Danza) into early retirement, he takes a job as a live-in housekeeper for a pushy female advertising executive (Judith Light) and her nosy mother (Katherine Helmond). Together, they find common ground on raising their kids (his - Alyssa Milano and hers - Danny Pintauro) as single parents. "Brand new life around the bend," indeed!
Beginning tonight, The MeTV Network presents a Valerie Harper Week. As you may already know, Valerie Harper announced last week to People Magazine that she has terminal brain cancer and may have only months to live. She received the diagnosis on Jan. 15, just days before she appeared on Good Morning America (to promote her new memoir, I, Rhoda) and described the stroke-like symptoms that sent her to the hospital. She opens up about the brain cancer for the first time on television today on the Today Show and on The Doctors. As for MeTV, the classic TV network will highlight Valerie Harper's role as Rhoda Morgenstern, Mary Richard's best friend and neighbor, in The Mary Tyler Moore Show each weeknight this week (Monday, March 11 – Friday, March 15) in its normal timeslot at 9PM. The classic Rhoda-themed episodes airing are "Love is All Around," "A Girl's Best Mother Is Not Her Friend," "...Is a Friend in Need," "Some of My Best Friends Are Rhoda" and "Rhoda Morgenstern: Minneapolis to New York." They are not airing any episodes of the spinoff series Rhoda, but we are getting five great episodes of Rhoda on The Mary Tyler Moore Show! It's so great they are saluting and showing respect to Valerie Harper while she is living. Tune in all this week starting at 9|8c on MeTV!

The Hub January 2013 Schedule, Facts of Life Moves; FX Picks Up 5th Season of The League
The Hub has made some minor schedule changes. Most notably for us is that '80s sitcom The Facts of Life will be removed from its Wednesday primetime block. The sitcom was airing Wednesdays from 8-10pm, but effective tonight it will be replaced by a movie. Primetime movies are already airing on Monday nights, so The Hub is adding a second night of movies in primetime. As a result of this schedule change, The Facts of Life will move to late nights on Friday nights (technically early Saturday mornings) at 2:00am & 2:30am. The sitcom will lead into the classic Garry Marshall block which airs Friday nights (early Saturdays) from 3-5am with back-to-back episodes of Happy Days, and single episodes of Laverne & Shirley and Mork & Mindy. In addition, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch will be off of the primetime line-up on Tuesday nights and will be replaced by animated series Superman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond and Batman: The Animated Series. Not to worry as Sabrina, the Teenage Witch will continue to air in its late night hour on Sunday nights (early Mondays) at 3:00am & 3:30am after episodes of Doogie Howser, M.D. and Family Ties in the 2am hour.
Staying put will be the Thursday night primetime block of '80s family sitcom ALF, which is doing well for the network. Also doing well for the network is the Sunday night primetime block of '90s drama Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman starring Dean Cain and the irresistible Teri Hatcher. The weekday strip of dramas Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Sliders from 10pm-12am (encores 4-6am) will continue to air. Back to Facts of Life, with it off of Wednesday nights, at least this means you won't have to choose between Diff'rent Strokes and Facts of Life, as Strokes premieres tonight on Antenna TV. So no trou-ble, Tootie!
View the FULL The Hub January 2013 schedule, which includes many non-sitcom/drama programs from our friends at NickandMore.com.
FX has picked up a fifth season of its acclaimed comedy series The League, ordering 13 episodes. From 2-6pm, the two-hour blocks of That '70s Show and Reba will be switching time periods, as Reba will now air from 2-4pm followed by That '70s Show from 4-6pm. This holiday season, The Hub TV Network celebrates the holiday season by adding the outrageous animated television series Animaniacs, executive produced by Steven Spielberg, to the programming lineup. A broad mix of wit, slapstick, and pop culture references, the animated series from Amblin Entertainment and Warner Brothers Animation will serve as a cornerstone of The Hub's month-long lineup of holiday-themed programming. The series will premiere with a four-hour marathon on Christmas Eve, Monday, December 24 from 4-8pm ET followed by the holiday-themed musical feature film Animaniacs: Wakko's Wish Monday, December 24 from 8-10pm ET. Animaniacs will continue on the network's schedule in 2013 premiering in its regular timeslot on Monday, January 7 at 3pm ET.
Animaniacs is considered a variety show, with short skits featuring a large cast of characters including the Warner brothers, Yakko and Wakko, and their sister, Dot – three inseparable siblings – as they have a great time wreaking havoc and mayhem in the lives of everyone they meet. The series also features a number of comedic educational segments, often in musical form. Distributed by Warner Brothers Television, Animaniacs originally ran from 1993 through 1998 and established itself with both younger audiences and adult viewers as one of the most successful and popular animated series of the decade.
In addition, during the holiday season The Hub TV Network will count down to a special 48-hour lineup of holiday-themed programming on Monday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 25 highlighted by movies, specials, and series in the spirit of the season featuring a special six-episode, Christmas-themed marathon of the popular Melissa Joan Hart sitcom Sabrina, The Teenage Witch from 7-10am ET on Christmas morning followed by two holiday-themed television specials Atomic Betty: The No-L 9 at 10am ET and The Christmas Toy at 11am ET. Stay tuned if there are any other sitcom holiday episodes or stunts besides Sabrina.

Also, over the holiday weekend, the network offers up a feast of other family fare during a "Black Friday" movie marathon Friday, November 23 from 4pm-4am ET featuring Cats & Dogs, Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore and Monster House. The holiday weekend concludes on Saturday, November 24 with a lineup of new episodes from several Hub Original series including a special holiday-themed musical episode of Pound Puppies (9 a.m. ET), produced by Hasbro Studios.
As for ALF, it features the adventures of Gordon Shumway, a furry, wisecracking alien from the planet Melmac who crash lands into the garage of the Tanner family. The Tanners offer him a home and give him the nickname ALF, short for "Alien Life Form." Created by Tom Patchett (The Carol Burnett Show) and Paul Fusco (also the puppeteer for ALF), the half-hour sitcom rose to popularity in the late 1980s on NBC cementing itself in the pop culture zeitgeist. Ha!
Stay tuned next week when we detail all of the Thanksgiving marathons! We can't believe it is that time of year already!

New Classic TV Digital Station Cozi TV Coming January 2013; The Hub Presents Classic Sitcom Halloween Airings
We hinted on our message board earlier this week that a new over the air digital subchannel focusing on classic TV will be launching January 1, and now some info has been reported. The new network will be named Cozi TV and will be from NBCUniversal. It will be replacing digital subchannel Nonstop on the NBC Owned Television Stations. So if you're in the NBC owned markets and have Nonstop, you'll have Cozi TV come January 1. Among the series they will have at launch will include comedies like Burns & Allen, The Lucy Show, Ozzie & Harriet, Red Skelton, Groucho Marx; action dramas like Charlie's Angels, The Six Million Dollar Man, The Bionic Woman, Magnum P.I., and classic family and western series like Lassie, The Roy Rogers Show, The Lone Ranger, The Virginian, The Adventures of Kit Carson and Alias Smith and Jones, Marcus Welby, M.D., and Highway to Heaven. A few movies will be featured in the afternoons. Currently, Highway to Heaven has been airing weekdays at 12 noon on Nonstop on all NBC Owned Television Stations, so it will likely remain at 12 noon when Cozi takes over the space on Jan. 1. Nonstop was first launched in New York in March 2009 and then expanded to the other NBC Owned Television Stations in 2010 and 2011. Of the ten markets that NBC owns, nine of them have a Nonstop station, with only the Hartford market not included. Thus, chances of Cozi TV in Hartford are not certain as the other nine markets NBC owns (NY, LA, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Washington DC, Dallas, Miami, and San Diego).
Cozi TV will join the crowded digital subchannel world that includes fellow classic TV stations like Antenna TV, MeTV, THIStv, Bounce TV and RTV. Stay tuned for the official announcement and full details, like an actual schedule, as soon as it is announced. Much more to come, so get "cozi" and comfortable!
This Halloween The Hub TV Network gets into the 'spirit' with a full lineup of spooky and fun Halloween-themed movies, TV series and specials. The centerpiece of the network's October 31 programming slate is a special two-hour marathon of the award-winning R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour: The Series (4-6pm ET). The marathon showcases four of the scariest episodes from all three seasons of the Hub Original Series, starring popular young Hollywood actors including Rico Rodriguez (Modern Family) and Dakota Goyo (Real Steel). The tricks and treats continue with spine-tingling Halloween-themed episodes of favorite live-action and animated Hub series including The Adventures of Chuck & Friends, Transformers Rescue Bots, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Pound Puppies, and Goosebumps. When darkness sets in, the network's primetime programming schedule will feature super spooky episodes of ALF, Mork & Mindy, The Facts of Life, and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys in primetime.
Fans of the sitcom Sabrina, the Teenage Witch will be treated to a special four-episode Halloween-themed marathon of 'spook-tacular' proportions on Tuesday, October 30 (10am-noon ET) following everyone's favorite witch Sabrina Spellman (Melissa Joan Hart) as a teenager with magical powers living with her two aunts and their magical talking cat Salem. The fun continues on Halloween Day (Wednesday, Oct. 31) from 11am-12pm, as Sabrina creates the event of the year when she rents real monsters from the Other Realm to spice up her Halloween party. And Sabrina takes her friends on the Halloween Mystery Train, but discovers too late that they've boarded the Other Realm Express! In primetime on Halloween night, The Hub presents two back-to-back episodes of ALF, from 8-9pm, which follow the adventures of Gordon Shumway, a furry, wisecracking alien from the planet Melmac who crash lands into the garage of the Tanner family. ALF tries to convince Willie and Kate to let him go trick-or-treating on Halloween, but the Tanners are concerned their neighbors might discover ALF's "natural" costume is not really a disguise at all! And while spying on the neighbors having an argument next door, ALF sees Mr. Ochmonek approach his wife with an ice pick and suspects he’s trying to kill her. Next at 9pm on The Facts of Life, Halloween hysteria sets in when a customer mysteriously disappears and the girls fear that Edna may have ground him into her famous homemade bratwurst. At 9:30pm, Mork and Mindy are in for a spirited Halloween when familiar ghosts from Mindy's past create hilarious havoc in the house.

The Munsters and The Addams Family Return to Boomerang For October; New Sabrina, the Teenage Witch Animated Series Coming to The Hub in Summer 2013
For the second straight year, Boomerang will bring us two classic sitcoms all October long! Boomerang is bewitched this October with a line-up of spooky episodes and specials themed around everyone's favorite haunted celebration. Spotlighting the month-long Halloween festivities, Boomerang will feature spooktacular blocks of The Funky Phantom, Goober and the Ghost Chasers, What's New, Scooby-Doo?, The Munsters (live-action series, 1964-66) and The Addams Family (animated, 1992-95, as well as live-action series, 1964-66) on weekdays from 2pm-5:30pm ET/PT and again from 9pm-12am ET/PT. On weekends, the network is offering a bag full of treats with classic series and specials, including The Halloween Tree, The Flintstones Meet Rockula and Frankenstone and Scooby-Doo and the Reluctant Werewolf from 11am-2pm ET/PT and 10pm-12am ET/PT.
The Munsters comically depicted the "average" American home life of a close-knit blue-collar family - of monsters - that were based on the classic monsters of Universal Studios, including Frankenstein, Count Dracula, The Werewolf and The Bride of Dracula. Presented in black-and-white, the half-hour series starred Fred Gwynne as Herman Munster; Yvonne De Carlo as his wife, Lily; Al Lewis as Grandpa; Butch Patrick as Eddie; and Beverly Owen/Pat Priest as Marilyn, the "ugly niece" who resembled Marilyn Monroe. The show featured satirical situations where the lovable Munsters interacted as normal, good citizens with an unsuspecting public, who were terrified solely by their appearance. The Munsters premiered on CBS Television on Sept. 24, 1964, and played for two full seasons (70 episodes) that concluded on May 12, 1966. The Munsters will air all month weekdays at 5pm ET/PT starting TODAY.
Based on Charles Addams' New Yorker comics, The Addams Family featured a much more well-to-do family of creepy characters that generally stayed within their eerie yet palatial mansion. Also shot in black-and-white and immortalized by a catchy, snappy theme-song, The Addams Family starred John Astin as Gomez Addams; Carolyn Jones as his wife, Morticia; Jackie Coogan as Uncle Fester; Ted Cassidy as the butler, Lurch; Blossom Rock as Grandmama Addams; and Lisa Loring and Ken Weatherwax, respectively, as the Addams' children, Wednesday and Pugsley. The series' humor derives from a culture clash with the rest of the world - the Addams treat normal visitors (often arriving with evil intentions) with great warmth and courtesy, but are puzzled by the horrified reactions to their "ordinary" behavior and tastes. The Addams Family premiered on ABC Television on Sept. 18, 1964, and presented 64 episodes that concluded on April 8, 1966. The live-action sitcom will air weekdays at 4:30pm ET/PT and 10:30pm ET/PT starting TODAY.
In the animated series, the Addams are not your typical family: they take delight in most of the things that "normal" people would be terrified of. Gomez Adams is an extremely wealthy man, and is able to indulge his wife Morticia's every desire - be it cultivation of poisonous plants, or a candlelit dinner in a graveyard. People visiting the Addams family just don't seem to appreciate the 7 foot tall butler "Lurch" or the helping hand (which is just a disembodied hand" named "Thing"). The animated The Addams Family will air weekdays at 4pm ET/PT and 10pm ET/PT starting TODAY.
The Hub has announced that an all-new original animated series, Sabrina: Secrets of a Teenage Witch, will premiere in the summer of 2013. The series will feature the iconic teen character re-imagined for a new generation. Actress Ashley Tisdale, who starred in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and the High School Musical film series, will provide the voice for Sabrina.
In the upcoming series Sabrina: Secrets of a Teenage Witch, Sabrina is half-witch and half-human, and all super hero as she leads two vastly different lives; one disguised as a normal, klutzy high school student and the other as the top sorcery student in the magical world. When her two worlds collide, Sabrina is the only one who has the power to battle her foes, while managing to keep her magical identity a secret from humankind.
The Hub currently airs the live-action 1996-2003 sitcom on Sunday nights (early Monday mornings) at 3:00am & 3:30am. Two other animated series, Sabrina: The Animated Series and Sabrina's Secret Life, have previously aired on CBS's Cookie Jar TV.

The Hub Fall 2012 Schedule, Acquires Sliders, Hercules; SAG To Honor Dick Van Dyke With Life Achievement Award
The Hub TV Network has announced some changes to its primetime line-up this Fall. This Labor Day, The Hub TV Network celebrates the holiday with the addition of three popular action-packed series for kids and their parents as well as a chance to win one of six $1,000 back-to-school shopping sprees. On Monday, September 3, the live-action series, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Sliders, and the critically lauded Superman: The Animated Series will premiere on The Hub, joining a special Labor Day marathon and sweepstakes for the popular original series The Aquabats! Super Show! The Labor Day marathon (Monday, September 3, noon-3 p.m. ET) will feature six back-to-back episodes of the outrageous comedy-adventure series that follows the greatest crime-fighting rock band ever assembled.
As for the new acquisitions, Sliders will air at 10pm (encore at 4am) from Mondays-Thursdays and features a young genius (Jerry O'Connell, Crossing Jordan) who invents a teleportation device allowing him and his friends to "slide" between parallel worlds, experiencing places that look familiar to their world, but with sometimes vast differences. The series aired from 1995-2000 on Fox (and then later on Sci-Fi). Then, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys will follow at 11pm (encore at 5am) from Mondays-Thursdays and it is an internationally beloved fantasy-action series that features the mythical hero Hercules (Kevin Sorbo, Andromeda) in a time when only one man dared to challenge the gods with a strength the world had never seen before. This series aired from 1995-99 in first-run syndication on weekends. Both Sliders and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys comes from NBCUniversal and New Media Distribution. As for the other acquisition, it will be in non-primetime: Superman: The Animated Series will air 9am every weekday with encores throughout the week (such as weeknights 6:30pm) and follows the legendary superhero in exciting new stories. The series aired from 1996-2000 on the Kids' WB block starring the voices of Tim Daly (Wings, Private Practice) and Dana Delany (Body of Proof, Desperate Housewives).
So what does this mean for The Wonder Years, Laverne & Shirley and Batman, since they currently air Mon-Thurs from 10pm-12am (with 4-6am encores)? They will be off the weekday line-up. In fact, The Wonder Years and Batman will be off the schedule completely. Laverne & Shirley will air late Friday and Saturday nights at 4:00am following an hour of Happy Days, which returns to the schedule, at 3:00am & 3:30am on Friday and Saturday nights. Mork & Mindy will follow and move to these two nights a week at 4:30am. Back to primetime on weeknights, the sitcoms will remain from 8-10pm (encores 2-4am) but Mork & Mindy will not be on Mondays anymore as a Movie will air instead. Sabrina the Teenage Witch will still be on Tuesdays, The Facts of Life on Wednesdays and ALF on Thursdays. On Sunday nights from 8pm-11pm (and an immediate encore from 11pm-2am), Lois & Clark will remain. That drama has done very well for the cable network and perhaps The Hub is banking on Sliders and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys to do the same. Doogie Howser and Family Ties will follow at 2 and 2:30am on Sunday nights, which will now be their only airings during the week. Sabrina will follow in the 3am hour on Sunday nights.
There you have it, the Fall schedule (so far maybe?) for The Hub. View the entire The Hub Fall 2012 schedule for primetime/late night. And stay with us for further updates, as hopefully Batman and The Wonder Years will return sometime soon (if they still have rights?). At least Happy Days, Mork & Mindy and Laverne & Shirley will get to air twice a week in late night and are not completely removed. Stay with us!
Dick Van Dyke, beloved actor, singer, dancer, writer and comedian, will receive SAG-AFTRA's highest honor – the SAG Life Achievement Award for career achievement and humanitarian accomplishment. Van Dyke will be presented the performers union's most prestigious accolade, given annually to an actor who fosters the "finest ideals of the acting profession," at the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards®, which premieres live on TNT and TBS on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at 8pm ET/7pm CT/6pm MT/5pm PT. Holder of five Emmys®, a Tony® Award and a Grammy®, Van Dyke at 86 still possesses the zest for life that first propelled him into the limelight more than a half-century ago with the Broadway and film versions of Bye Bye Birdie, the seminal '60s situation comedy The Dick Van Dyke Show and the film classic Mary Poppins. Also, Van Dyke's crime solving physician, Dr. Mark Sloan, was introduced in a 1991 episode of Jake and the Fat Man and became the central character in three TV movies before evolving into the CBS series Diagnosis: Murder.
