Apple TV+ Renews Palm Royale for Season 2; Peacock Orders Season 4 for Kevin Hart Talker

Apple renews hit, star-studded comedy sensation Palm Royale for season two. Palm Royale is executive produced by Academy Award winner Laura Dern, Academy and Emmy Award nominee Kristen Wiig and creator Abe Sylvia with an all-star cast led by Wiig and including Dern, Ricky Martin, Josh Lucas and Leslie Bibb, with Allison Janney and extra special guest stars Bruce Dern and Carol Burnett. On the heels of its critically acclaimed season one finale, Apple TV+ announced a season two renewal for its global hit comedy, Palm Royale. Since its global debut this March, Palm Royale has been hailed as "a dishy delight," "wildly outrageous and amusing," "a feast of retro stylings and historical events" and an "edge-of-your-seat guessing game you won't want to stop watching." Additionally, Wiig was just recognized for her work in the series with a nomination from the first-ever Gotham TV Awards. Set in high society Palm Beach in the powder keg year of 1969, Palm Royale is a true underdog story that follows Maxine Simmons (Wiig) as she endeavors to break into Palm Beach high society. As Maxine attempts to cross that impermeable line between the haves and the have-nots, Palm Royale asks the same question that still baffles us today: "How much of yourself are you willing to sacrifice to get what someone else has?" Palm Royale is a testament to every outsider fighting for their chance to truly belong.

Peacock has announced a fourth season of Kevin Hart's weekly celebrity talk show, Hart to Heart, premiering June 20. This season, Hart gathers with a new batch of celebrity guests to dive into hour-long conversations about their life journeys, careers and never-before-heard memories. This season's guests include industry powerhouses Ben Affleck, George Lopez, Cynthia Erivo, Andy Samberg, Judd Apatow and Niecy Nash. The third season of Hart to Heart featured guests Bill Maher, Dr. Dre, Dwayne Johnson, Issa Rae, J.Cole, John Cena, Mark Cuban, Sofia Vergara, Will Ferrell and Will Smith. The first three seasons of Hart to Heart are currently available to stream in full on Peacock.

Peacock Announces Two Kevin Hart Projects; Paramount+ Big Nate Season 2 Premieres July 7

Peacock has announced two exciting projects in partnership with Kevin Hart and his multi-platform media company, Hartbeat. Standup comedy special Kevin Hart: Reality Check and the third season of Hart's celebrity talk show, Hart to Heart will both premiere July 6 in celebration of Hart's birthday. Kevin Hart: Reality Check is a one-hour unforgettable night of comedy special! Kevin Hart self-reflects on his growing family, fame, mentions on Black Twitter and more. Hart returns with a bang to a live sold out crowd, at Resort World in Las Vegas. This tell-all special provides audiences with genuine humor, candid conversations and hilarious tall-tales.

In the third season of Hart to Heart, Hart and his guests pop the cork on a variety of topics ranging from hilarious, never-before-told stories to career defining revelations. Each one-hour, in-depth interview takes place in Hart's intimate wine cellar and will feature entertainment industry titans Bill Maher, Dr. Dre, Dwayne Johnson, Issa Rae, J.Cole, John Cena, Mark Cuban, Sofia Vergara, Will Ferrell and Will Smith. Hart to Heart's second season featured Chris Rock, JAY-Z, Mark Wahlberg, Pete Davidson, Tracee Elliss Ross, Tyler Perry, Saweetie, Mike Tyson, Simu Liu and Seth McFarlane. The first two seasons of Hart to Heart are currently available to stream in full on Peacock.

Paramount+ released the official trailer and key art for season two of the original animated comedy series Big Nate, based on the best-selling children's books and comic strip written and drawn by acclaimed author and cartoonist Lincoln Peirce. The first 10 episodes of the second season will premiere on Friday, July 7 streaming exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Canada, and the following day in the UK. Additional international markets will premiere later this year.

In new episodes of the Emmy nominated series, Nate Wright and his misfit group of friends tackle new adventures, face epic challenges and unleash their boundless imaginations at P.S. 38. This new season pushes the boundaries of visual creativity, featuring episodes with animation styles including stop-motion, shadow box theater, photogrammetry and claymation. With laughter, friendship and heaps of Nate's signature mischief, season two promises to be bigger, bolder, and funnier than ever. Joining Big Nate this season are guest stars Laraine Newman (Ridley Jones) as Marge, Nate's grandma whose misguided optimism has clearly been inherited by her grandson; Matthew Lillard (Scooby-Doo) as Agent Fish, one of Nate's comic character creations - an anxious FBI agent with a literal fish head; JB Blanc (Barry) as Agent Moose, one of Nate's comic character creations - a confident FBI agent with a literal moose head; Maya Aoki Tuttle (Spidey and His Amazing Friends) as Cammie, the kind of popular kid who actually has confidence; and Stephanie Sheh (Royal Crackers) as Ruby, the new kid at P.S. 38 and Nate's dream girl, but he doesn't know that yet.
